If you run into RV troubles, you will want to call D&R Road Service! I cannot emphasize enough how much Bob (The “R[obert]” in D&R Road Service) and his colleague, Rob, helped us out. On a Saturday morning on the busy EB I-90 NY tollway, we lost a bearing on one of our two RV axles, 30 minutes after leaving our campground. After having the contracted tollway towing service take off the wheel, block the axle and follow us five miles to the nearest exit and truck stop, we sat in a parking lot trying to figure out our options. We were able to limp along and find a campsite, barely 35 miles from our prior campground. Meanwhile, I had called everyone within a 10-mile radius. The RV mechanical shops that were open didn’t answer or return my call. The others were closed until Monday. I left detailed messages in hopes someone would call me on Monday morning (exactly one mobile RV service out of Penn Yan called me back, and he was not authorized to work on axles). On Monday morning, Bob answered the phone and had me send pictures of our axle. He sent a text asking for our campground location. Within 30 minutes of that text exchange, he and Rob pulled up as I was in the office securing another night at the campground. They quickly assessed the situation, pulled off the axle and drove back to their shop. Unfortunately, a full replacement axle was not available for 3 weeks, so they spent the rest of the day making changes to the existing unit. It took an extra day, due to their drive to Buffalo and other spots, to get all the parts they needed. They worked hard to put the axle back on the RV, and they also checked the other axle to get us road ready. Bob texted us, after we finally left the Finger Lakes area, to ensure our axle was properly functioning. These guys worked hard. The lessons learned is to make sure your bearings are in good shape before a trip. If you’re stuck anywhere near the D&R Road Service shop, and you have RV issues, do yourself a favor and call them. I own a tractor trailer and my driver broke down on the side of the road. I called Bob from D&R ROAD Service for help. He was professional, kind, and a wealth of knowledge. He found out what was causing my engine trouble and although he couldn't fix my problem he certainly pointed me in the rite direction. I had to make my delivery on time and as i was on the highway, one of my tandem tyres popped, called Bob and he was there in a flash, fully equiped and with him knowing how to work his tools he was done in few mnts and i was back on the road. Thumbs up for Bob.

Simple. If you don’t want spend the time and money. Do not call. Bad bad experience. 749$ for change a governor of dryer. Take the old one that was good. Road services need to be more human.
