Baltimore Woods Nature Center

This Nature Center is absolutely gorgeous! The woods there are beautiful. They have a live turtle named Fern and lots of birds to view. Their gift shop is nice and they have a great winter Market once a month. Come check it out!

Beautiful place for a walk, run and exploration. Good number of trails.

Awesome place. A bit small for a hiker but great birding experience. Handicap accessible trails which is pretty darn cool.

Great place to go hiking. Trails are well marked and maps are placed all over to help you navigate. Most of the trails are easy with a few being moderate. The longest trail is about a mile and a half. The only downside is dogs are not allowed.

It's a small reserve but one with excellent diversity of habitat and wildlife. This place is managed by lovely people who really know their stuff. Definitely check out their programs.

When we visited Skaneateles for several days in July, we looked for hiking trails nearby. Few are available. We checked out Baltimore Woods Nature Center in nearby Marcellus. A day camp primarily used the center, which is beautiful. What lucky kids! We enjoyed walking several of the trails and recommend it. The only people we saw during our stay were the day campers and counselors

My favorite place for a hike in the region. The trails are well marked and maintained throughout the year. The paths range from sloping up and down the hillside to simple loops through the gardens. If you just want some peace, quiet, and to connect with nature, there is a path for you here.

The woods themselves are beautiful. The staff is knowledgeable and the classes that they have are awesome. The $20 for a yearly membership is definitely worth it!! And every summer they have great activities for the kids. My daughter loves going there. She signed up three times this summer.

Lots Of beautiful areas to enjoy. Swamps and fields, creeks, hill hikes and flower gardens.

Love this place and all the programs and events they offer. We attended our 2and autumnal fairy festival a few weeks ago. They put so much into the event and have so many activites for the kids. Just an awesome place all around!

Fun little nature center. Lots of short trails. The staff is also very friendly.

Great place for a light to medium hike. Chipmunks galore! A few of the trails by the main entrance (at the top of the hill) include a variety of trees and plants with labels.

Lots of trails and a log cabin. The cabin was built in the later 70s and is still in great shape. I spent many hours in these woods as a kid. My father use to teach survival classes here in the 70s, where people would show up with only the clothes they were wearing and had to stay there for a week.

Beautiful and well kept trails. We do the programs here for the kids and can't say enough wonderful things about the staff and facilities. Absolute gem of a spot

Very well maintained trails! Not stroller friendly but great for groups and kids. There's a portable potty there, helpful when getting there before the center opens. Beautiful hike!
