Buckhorn Campground & Resort

The owners of the campground are wonderful people. This is our first experience as seasonal campers, and we don't plan on leaving any time soon. Thank you, Jim and Jean, for making our happy place a special one.

Great place they worked with us and even moved things sround to better acomadate us. Its was really nice. We will be back again

Booked another campsite during 4th of July weekend. Unfortunately, it was trashed so we traveled to Buckhorn. Luckily they had a spot available for us. The staff was wonderful. Everyone was super friendly, and we had a great time. They even had a pool and bathrooms with showers that were very well maintained. 10/10 would recommend this place to anybody!

Camped on a weekend site. We liked the grounds so much we became seasonals! The people are kind and friendly and everyone watches out for each other. Bathrooms are incredibly clean and well maintained.

Nice new level lot kind of an interesting setup there's people who own lots here it seems like and they rent some it was clean and quiet good experience helpful staff.

This is my home away from home. Love being here!!!

Absolutely beautiful campground with a great feel. Owner Jim and his son Joe and resident handyman Bob all working like dogs to get everything ready for the new seasonal campers; we really appreciate everything they did even though we came back multiple times to look through the sites, they were very patient and helpful! Can't wait to get our camper over there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can’t say enough amazing things about this place. The owners truly care about this campground and the community within it. They are quick to help solve issues, are readily available, and genuinely great people. The restrooms are always well kept and there is a black tank service. There are weekend get together, a pool, and movie night. This is truly a home away from home. I highly recommend this campground if you are looking for a place to land!

This campground was AMAZING!! First I'll say the basics: the showers were very clean, this campground is truly pet friendly which was very nice, the pool was very clean (a little chilly the first day but perfect the next day), campsites are big, everyone that worked there would say hi and ask if you were enjoying your stay (which shows us they actually care). But what was the best was the lady we checked in with was so incredibly nice and....my husband took his ring off for the shower and left it in the shower, we are an hour down the road when he realized he didn't have it, we called them and they had a permanent camper hold it till we got there. WE GOT THE RING BACK!! This campground and permanent campers are honest, and good people. We will be coming back again!!!!!!!!!!!

This place was tons of fun. The man who manages the campground and checked us in was really friendly and funny. My friends and I had a great time here. The pool and bathrooms were nice and clean. Overall, it was a great stay. I will note for people wondering, this is a far walk from the lake. I would recommend driving or using bikes or ATVs.

We have been permanent campers at this breathtaking campground for the past seventeen years and love it here. If you have not yet experienced a truly beautiful campground then you need to come visit and see for yourself. Jim, Jean and family are down to earth hard working friendly people who truly care about you and your time here. Looking up at the tall whispering pines swaying in the breeze while relaxing in our hammock is a heavenly sight to be seen! Come visit and you will not be disappointed!!!

I rented my site for about 4 years, I was treated very good, the owners are friendly&helpful, they go the extra mile to help out when they can, the campground& bathrooms are well taken care of, I was very happy renting my site, good neighbors around me ,I'll miss esp Bill& Linda, bob& Marge! Thanks Jim&Jean the owners of Buckhorn,for a pleasant stay, it's worth it staying there!

Very nice place to park your camper

Owners are sure friendly and camp is super clean. Well run and extremely well up kept. Nice pool and beautiful wooded campgrounds. Super close to Lake for fishing and boating.

Seasonl site here. We love it. Very clean and owners always very helpful. Whole campground is very friendly. Most sites are very large.we have very clean bathrooms and very clean pool. Gameroom.laundry facilities
And a pavillion with a kitchenette. Very close to castle rock lake and state park. If your ever looking for a great campground come check this one out

We absolutely love this campground. The owners are wonderful and everyone there is so helpful and friendly. Couldnt have found a better spot to spend our summers.

Very nice campground we had site #7 plenty of room for our camper,boat,and vehicles. Lots of shade for those sunny hot days. Restrooms were very clean. I will be coming back 😀

Relaxation, clean bathrooms, family friendly campground! The owners are so nice and accommodating. Close to the beautiful Castle Rock lake and Buckhorn state park. A great getaway!
