Holiday Inn Express & Suites Zanesville North, an IHG Hotel

Ok so back to what people looking at this hotel really want to know. The shower was amazing. Lots of water pressure and volume. The bed is firm but very comfortable. A/c was nice and cold. The room was very clean and had a Keurig in it. No noise in the room from neighbors or outside. Didn’t make breakfast, overslept, but got coffee and even at 11am it was hot and fresh. Would definitely come here again and I highly recommend this hotel.

I have been staying in a lot of hotels in the past year and this place (and another IHG location) has the best breakfast and nicest rooms in its class. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel compared to the Hilton and Marriott properties I have been too lately. Full points on the care of the hotel, the friendly staff, and the very convenient and tasty breakfast (there are even non-cooked items out if you have to have a very early breakfast + coffee 24/7). Even with a hotel filled with kids/families, we slept soundly and heard no noise from neighboring rooms. A+++

Comfortable bed, nice mini kitchen set-up, fantastic breakfast with more choices than I've seen at any motel.

Good room space. Easy parking, very quiet, decent breakfast in the morning. Starts at 6am-10am. Very nice staff. They were always able to provide towels, toilet paper and service.

Breakfast is exceptional. They offered gluten free bread. Almond milk. Bananas. We've been to 10 hotels in the last ten nights and only one had bananas which were over ripe. They had my coffee mate creamer. A million types of bars. French toast in addition to the hot meat and eggs. A pan cake maker. A huge assortment of cereals. Thank you Tonya!

From the congenial, front desk clerk who promptly answered all of our questions and showed us a room, to the dining room service person, to the cleaning personnel, we were truly pleased and delighted you stay here!

As we walked through the hotel, we noticed how clean and fresh smelling everything was--including the large, wide, optional exit stairway areas.
Every level smelled fresh, clean and disinfected-- yet without a chemical smell.
There were NO musty carpet or foot odors, just a genuine cleanliness level that one would expect from a nicer hotel.

Loved the views of the sunset and sunrise from this location.

We awakened to a delicious & hearty breakfast.

We were even more surprised to find an abundance of food at 9:40am, even though breakfast was ending at 10am.

There was a wide, excellent variety of food items, and a host of drink choices.

The server was kind and considerate; informing us that breakfast would be ening soon, and if we wanted extra food items, come to the buffet and get them before she closed for the morning.

The hotel is conveniently located to restaurants, the interstate, and shopping.

We paid $150 per night for our room during this stay, and were thankful for the quietness of the rooms, the delicious breakfast, the in-room microwave and fridge, the level of cleanliness and the courtesy of each staff member we encountered.

We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Holiday Inn Express in Zanesville , OH.

Had a wonderful weekend stay. Hotel was clean and smelled fresh. King room included microwave, mini fridge, Keurig, mini toiletries as well as full sized soaps for use. Comfortable bed. Had good cable. Pool and Jacuzzi were both great. Staff was super sweet and accommodating. Breakfast was great with plenty of choices and they even had snacks to take with you for later. Thanks for everything!

One of the Best Holiday Inn's I've been to! Breakfast was amazing, everything was clean, beautiful place. On the top of a hill so kinda even got a nice view. Truck parking available for my Semi. Great staff. Overall a really great stay! The hill makes it harder to walk to the nearby restaurants, but other than that, great location.

Updated 1-4-24: 20th stay in 3 years: Prime location with biggest parking lot in Zanesville for tractor/trailers. Clean, great staff, walkable restaurants. 3rd floor is currently being renovated, shipping containers in parking lot.

Nice and clean room with some minor issues. Roller chair was wore out and hard as a rock. Had to raise temperature on thermostat to 74 to get heat to come on, but did warm up nicely. Definitely like that there is some truck parking and several restaurants close. Could use a pantry though.

We booked a banquet room for our family to have Easter dinner and it was really nice. The hotel lounge is comfortable and cozy with a tv and view of pool area. Very clean and staff is very friendly. Highly recommend.

My family and I do quite a lot of traveling which means hotels. Not every hotel is good, some are down right regrettable, but this is not one of those hotels. This hotel was WONDERFUL. The rooms were super clean, spacious, and modern. The beds were super comfy and the bathroom shower head was so relaxing. The next morning they had a large breakfast that included bacon, sausage gravy, olmettes, potatoes, sausage, along with countless other items. Staff was lovely too. Would stay here again and again!

Very nice place, good breakfast setup, clean place. Only minor concern was the number of semi 's park parking along the entrance, especially the fuel tankers

There's no local bars anywhere near here, but there's a lot of choices for fast food and restaurants within walking distance.

We really liked our overnight stay here! It was quick to check in, the place was clean and the breakfast was amazing- so many good options! The only thing we didn’t like was the big holes in the blackout curtain (let light in and looks trashy). We stayed in Room 327.

The hotel rooms were clean, and the bed was super comfortable! They had a hot breakfast and pancakes machine. The breakfast attended was super attentive and was constantly replenishing the items. I totally recommend this hotel!

Stopped in at this hotel for one evening to break up a longer drive. Staff was efficient and pleasant. Room was fully functioning and really clean. I had the biscuit of my life at breakfast - perfectly crispy on outside and soft in the inside. I want to have more reasons to travel through Zanesville to re-visit this hotel!

This hotel consistently welcomes us when we visit family in the area. We love the pool, the breakfast, and the comfort of the beds. The VIP treatment with Conn's chips is a nice touch, and the tourism coloring books they give out to kids are 👍. Thanks team!
