Prima Italian They really surprised me, it was one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at, you should visit it, not only is it a 5 ⭐ restaurant, the atmosphere, its employees, the attention is the BEST, not FORGET to mention our fabulous bartender MARIA! wonderful and attentive person She is! As a tourist I was happy to have arrived there by accident, an incredible place to enjoy… 100% recomended! Don't forget to try the dessert trio

Prima has a great vibe inside from the darker tones on the wall and the unique tile work throughout which really sets the tone for your experience. I would highly recommend the tiramisu espresso martini but would recommend waiting till your meal gets to the table. The Cesar salad to start is a can’t miss. I would consider it my new standard for a Cesar salad when I go out to eat. The special for the day was “egg in a hole” which was an absolute knock out. The steak that came with it was cooked to absolute perfection while the bread was able to soak up the egg yoke perfectly. If you’re in the area I would highly recommend trying out Prima.

This restaurant located in Charlestown is a great spot to gather with friends and celebrate. The waitress who served us was attentive the whole time if we needed anything else or if we needed more. The food was excellent, the main dishes delicious, and the appetizers perfect. I suggest adding more options for desserts, but everything else was great. A very cozy place. The music was a bit too loud, which is why customers have to raise their voices to converse."

First time visiting prima for the gluten free night on Mondays. Overall all of the food was delicious! We ordered the garlic bread, arancini, mushroom carpaccio, picci pasta, chicken parm. Everything was seasoned perfectly, and entree portions were generous! My favorite dish was the seasonal tiramisu (pistachio and raspberry). We were seated in the back room which was quieter, and the decor and overall ambiance was lovely. Will definitely come back to try more things on the menu!

Amazing experience from start to finish. The restaurant is located on a peaceful corner in Charlestown with a beautiful exterior, like a restaurant out of a magazine. The interior is absolutely stunning and gives off the perfect ambience. The main dining area is beautiful, warm & cozy. The Rose Room is incredible 😍 Our waitress was a rockstar and on top of everything the whole night. Food came out coursed perfectly. The Caesar salad is one of the best I’ve had. Arancini balls were delicious as well as the octopus and steak tartare. Entree pasta dishes were good but I’m definitely trying the steak next time. Jeronimo their Sommelier is awesome too and so knowledgable with wines! A+ experience all around, can’t wait to come back.

The atmosphere was really rustic and nice but the ribeye bone in was legendary! The best I have had yet in Boston beta del frisco! It was the best followed by the dessert! Gelato and cannoli was phenomenal. Highly recommend!!

AMAZING spot for a date. I stumbled upon this place on TikTok and went for a brunch date with my boyfriend on a Saturday morning around 11am. We did not make a reservation ahead of time but there was no wait and we were seated right away. I got the tiramisu espresso martini and it was the BEST espresso martini I have ever had. They used real marscapone filling on top of the martini so it was super creamy and felt like you were eating an actual piece of tiramisu. My boyfriend got the Mediterranean gin & tonic and he liked his drink as well. We split the egg sandwich and prosciutto Benedict. Both meals were cooked perfectly and extremely flavorful. Our waiter was extremely friendly and attentive. We will be back and definitely want to try this place for dinner next time!

I have never left a google review before but I had to leave one here after my experience last night for dinner. I cannot stress ENOUGH how incredible our experience at Prima was. My partner and I went last night for our first anniversary dinner and from the moment we arrived we were blown away by how beautiful the atmosphere was and the kindness of the staff. When we made the reservation we mentioned it was our anniversary so they took us to this stunning room and served us complementary champagne to celebrate. Ryan, our server, was so thoughtful and helpful the entire time and gave excellent recommendations. I have Celiac and the restaurant was so knowledgeable about it and provided countless gluten free options which tasted out of this world. I got the Filet and it has to be one of the best I ever had, only $55 for 12oz cause they butcher in house. I would definitely recommend the shared Caesar salad with gluten-free croutons, as well as the crispy potatoes on the side to go with your entrée. We both got espresso martinis (One black and one with Bailey) and they are really good! I definitely preferred the black expresso martini but you can’t go wrong with either. Such a romantic setting. Just look at these photos! Thank you so much, Prima, for the perfect anniversary dinner. We will be coming back for years and years to come!

Everyone needs to check out this place!!

A small restaurant that offers exceptional service and food. The bartenders and servers were very friendly and the manager was very helpful with getting us our seats. We came in without a reservation and were able to sit and eat at the bar within 10 minutes of us entering in. Realistically, that might not happen every time but it’s very true what the staff say that spaces open up frequently at the bar. The atmosphere was well decorated with relaxing music in the background. The next time we come back, the second bar in the back of the restaurant is a must. A great place for a date night.

Primas restaurant sounds delightful! The Arancini Tartufo, meatballs, Prima Pizette, and Bolognese seem like a fantastic selection.
A perfect 10/10 for both service and ambiance speaks volumes. Primas provides not only exceptional food but also a delightful overall dining experience. Felipe is an amazing server and you should look for him!!

Amazing atmosphere, service, smells, ambiance, people, food and what other senses are available not yet rated? Just top notch - and I don’t wish to share our “secret” spot but it is now out in the open thanks to Boston Magazine. So darn it = 7 thumbs up!

Have been about 5 times since and just always gets even better. Love this place , food and people. Very well run!

Holy heck. This experience was life changing! I honestly can’t recall the last time I’ve left a restaurant thinking every single morsel was not just delicious but beautiful, seasoned perfectly and the exact temperature it was intended to be at. The staff was gracious and delightful and we never felt an ounce of being rushed even though the restaurant was so busy. And not to sound like I’m a thousand years old, but it had such great buzz and energy and yet u could still hear one another at the table! Simply perfection! I can't wait to go back to try every dish!

Always such a beautiful experience at prima. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The service is amazing and there are very few restaurants in Boston more gorgeous.

Absolutely stunning! The atmosphere, food, drink, and staff are all Superb. The entire place has been redone and looks great. The back bar Rose room is a hidden gem!

Beautiful restaurant in Charlestown,within walking distance to TD Garden. Food is perfectly prepared and generous portions. The Caesar salad is a must have along with the chicken parmigiana. The filet steak is tender and juicy! The staff is outstanding! They greet you with a smile and are attentive and knowledgeable about food offerings and wine. Walking may be lucky to find comfortable seating around the large bar. We have also rented the back room with 53 people for a small family gathering which was enjoyed by all. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This place is adorable ! Parking kind of stinks but I really enjoyed the restaurant. Our waiter was great and the pasta was delicious. Will be back ! The rose room is fun too !

Stunning, clean, and delicious spot in Charlestown, and our new go-to date night spot! We were greeted by two very friendly gentlemen at the door, helped by a very kind hostess, and seated in the main dining area. The decor is modern, beautiful and the food was incredible - we had fresh, made-to-order mozzarella, eggplant parmesan, and the baked asparagus. Truly the best meal I've had in years. Our server was Pablo, who was friendly, attentive, helpful with my allergies, and just a delight. Thank you, Prima, for a fantastic night! We can't wait to come back.

I had the opportunity to dine at here and it was a wonderful experience! Upon arriving, I was informed that the fire alarm had just gone off so the usual ambiance wasn’t there, but the staff made up for the experience and still delivered!

The meatballs are to die for! Very moist, full of flavor and the sauce was superb. For my dish, I had the Ziti Bolognese and it was amazing.

Midday way through dinner, the typical mood was set and this heightened the experience even more!

Drinks are okay - nothing to write home about. I was a little disappointed that a 5 star restaurant didn’t have solid ice cubes for old fashions.

Definitely look into booking the private room in the back! That room is a whole mood!

Great steakhouse in the heart of Charlestown. Service was impeccable. Appetizers delicious, steak was great - a touch underseasoned, but cooked well. Creamed spinach needed more salt, but still very good. We got a really nice Italian wine w the steak that was absolutely delicious. Great atmosphere and outdoor seating. Recommend
