These guys are great and always get my car back in great shape. Went in for spark plugs and had another issue come up, they still got it fixed within a few hours and now my car is running smooth again. Very friendly and honest with great prices. I will go here every time!

I've taken my car here multiple times and the work is always done quickly and well. Most recently I took my car in to get the a.c. fixed. There was several problems that needed work but they gave me the option to start with the basics and see if that would ease the load on my compressor instead of making me replace it right out the gate. A.c. works wonderfully and I'm ready for summer. The owner is also very kind and will have a chat with you. Only place I take my car.

The very best in the business. If you have gone anywhere else you are missing out. These guys are old school, you get what you ask for, need diagnosis they’ll get it right without spit balling a million other things. You need brakes done, no question asked no up sales just honestly. Larry was extremely knowledgeable and helped reiterate things in a way that made sense. He showed me where the issue was and had it fixed in no time flat. I paid exactly what I was told and was on the road again in just a few hours. I’ve gone many places in the past and have always left them feeling worried I was wasting my money (which I have due to cheap franchise locations I trusted because of the national name that hire kids with no experience other than an sae and drivers ed.)

Save yourself money. Safe yourself time. And whatever you do don’t take it to a shop without knowledge. I’ll never do it again, not oil changes, not brake inspections none of it. I will never have to worry about my car being mistreated or misdiagnosed because of a lack luster mechanic. These guys are the real deal they are technicians and they know how to accurately assess issues.

I’ve said it before in person but want to make sure his bosses know, Larry the gentleman who helped me the last few days is amazing he is the only person outside of the dealer that will ever work on my car again. Thank you so much Larry for giving me the peace of mind and informing me of upcoming things I’ll need to keep an eye out for. You may not even realize it but you are my hero this week.

We always take our vehicles here, they do a great job. My 2008 highlander broke down unexpectedly and turns out needed a new alternator. They had it for 2 days total and runs like a champ again. Reasonable prices also.

Honest review. The person in the front office (I think the owner) doesn't have great customer service skills BUT these guys are the best and most honest mechanics I've found in my 5+ years in the area.

My old mechanic (Jake's Auto and Truck in Draper) told me my computer was broken and that it'd be ~$1,600 to replace and reprogram the computer. Got a second opinion from a neighbor and they replaced something that didn't fix the issue ($380 down the drain). I took it to Auto Savers and he told me he was 99% sure it was not the computer and was more likely a pinched wire. He said it would cost ~$180 to diagnose. I'd already paid for two diagnoses now so I was worried but decided to try one more time and have him look at it. It WAS a pinched wire like he thought from the beginning and I think I was out $189 to get it fixed.

I subsequently took my Jeep to him for an AC issue and it was again a broken ground wire which they fixed for just a little more than the diagnosis.

Yes, he may come across as a little stiff or maybe even a little sexist (my wife's words when she brought our Camry in), but I would not want to work with any other person. I trust Auto Savers to give good and honest service. - 7/23/2022

This is definitely the best place I have ever taken a vehicle for repairs and service. I was turned onto them by some family members and couldn't be happier. They are honest and fair. Larry is a great guy and is extremely talented in his work

My family and I where visiting the Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City when on the way to an appointment, my oil cooler went out in our pickup and left my family and I stranded. I was referred to Auto Savers by my wife's mother and father. The man at the front desk was very easy to talk to and friendly. They got our pickup in their shop the same day, diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts. They had it fixed the next day. Also, I had a nother problem with the truck that I didn't know about and they simply told me about it, and made some suggestions. They did not try to add it in to the cost or lie to me and swindle me in any way! Unfortunately honesty is not as common in auto repair as it should be. An honest Mechanic is worth his weight in gold. I would send any and all of my friends and family to them and I will be going back to them myself if I need to without even bothering with shopping around first!!

I just called here. Cary answered and was just as genuine, kind, and amazing as the positive reviews point out. I called 4 other places before this one regarding an issue I've been having with my batteries (yes, plural) and he was the only one to provide a recommendation that I could do on my own. That was fantastic! Everyone else wanted me to drop off my car for an immediate diagnostic without giving any helpful advice over the phone as to what the issue could be. That immediately stroke a chord of trust.

I am not a mechanic, but am mechanically inclined and really, really appreciated this. I'll see if his recommendations work and then provide an update if/when I decide to take the car in for a fix for whatever it be.

I’ve been taking my car here for a while now. They always have the best price and even allowed me to purchase the parts (as long as it was the same parts they would have purchased) and installed them for me for the cost of labor. This saved me a bunch of money because I had a bunch of amazon gift cards so I got the parts for free. I don’t live close but drive to them because I can’t find a honest shop that is fair on price anywhere else. Everywhere else wants to kill you with price. You won’t regret taking your car here!

The best kept secret in Sandy as far as automotive repairs. These guys are top notch and always get the job done right the first time. I use them for all three of my vehicles. They are reasonably priced and do great work. The guy that counter is pretty awesome as well.

Larry took care of me in quite a pinch. I had just bought a car, and when I was driving home on the free way my clutch pedal just went limp and stopped engaging. I was in Draper and I lived in West Valley. He was able to reccomend a good tow, and was able to get the problem solved quickly. Very fairly priced, and detailed what had went wrong. Might just make the drive down whenever I need some car help.

Our Honda Odyssey had a catalytic heat shield that broke it's welds and vibrated around 2000-2300 RPM's and was getting annoying. I read many forums on how to "fix" it and many of the forums said if you find a good mechanic it will cost them about $30 and they will patch it instead of replace the whole system (catalytic converter and heat shield are one assembly due to welds) which is expensive. We took it in to verify it was they catalytic heat shield and not the front exhaust heat shield and they called to let us know they would fix it for $35 being the catalytic heat shield, but it isn't guaranteed to last. I agreed and was happy that what they were telling me was everything I had been reading about. I really appreciated how they were upfront saying this isn't a 100% fix but a patch and would fail eventually setting me up to expect in the future the issue would return, but for $35 it saves me until I have the money for a larger repair from listening to the rattling. That is not the same I can say for the Honda Dealership. Found a new mechanic close by so I am super happy. I am glad my co-worker referred me here.
