Myself and family stayed in the Cowboy cabin. The cabin was perfect. It was clean and had everything we needed to have a great experience. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a great place to stay! Can't wait for our next visit, we will definitely be back. Thank you, Denise Russell

We had the best weekend at the Ranch! We did a girls weekend and spent some time at Sunrise. It was beyond perfect! The host Guyton was very accommodating and had great recommendations! Can’t say enough good things!

We have stayed here a few times and are going back!
The manager is superb. The cabin we like is two bedrooms and so darn cute. My grandkids love it

Serene and Rustic Elegance at The Ranch at South Fork

The Ranch at South Fork transported us into an idyllic wild-west adventure. In Eagar, AZ, it seamlessly blends thrills with the warmth of ranch life, offering an encounter with abundant wildlife and engaging activities like fishing for Rainbow trout.

Our stay was elevated by the staff's expertise, with Head Wrangler Skyler leading unforgettable horseback rides through stunning landscapes. The staff, with Ranch Manager Guyton at the helm, ensured a perfect stay in the well-appointed Cowboy Cabin, where nightly fires set the scene.

Hikers and riders will be delighted to discover that the surrounding trails are virtually endless, providing endless exploration. Moreover, the proximity to John Wayne’s 26 Bar Ranch enriches the stay with a sense of classic American Western culture.

The Ranch's charm is underscored by a lively communal spirit fostering new friendships. For an escape amidst nature, shared experiences, and a slice of Hollywood history, The Ranch at South Fork is unparalleled. It's a treasure offering boundless nature, exceptional care, and a nostalgic journey.

Just got home after three days of management retreat with 20 of us in multiple cabins on this property. Frank and LeAnne the owner/operators were absolutely stellar. The property is beautiful - don't expect Ritz-level amenities. You are in nature here and it;'s wonderful. I pledged to grab the family and come back here soon!

My brother booked this cabin and wishes he got an email confirmation (the owner sent a paper confirmation in the mail and my mom accidentally threw it away) so was a little unsure if everything was confirmed - but other than that... it’s perfect :)

It’s in the middle of no where and really peaceful. Our cabin (Heritage) had two bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a big patio with a beautiful view, WiFi, and beautiful flowers on the kitchen table! I would definitely come here again. Great for family, a group of friends, or a couple.

One day we drove 40-45 minutes to Show Low (there’s a Safeway in town that we got food at, filled up on gas too). Another day we drove 45 minutes to the trailhead at East Baldy Trailhead.

This place is amazing, quiet, clean and just what my wife and I needed for a getaway from kids and work. The wild turkeys and deer greeted us daily as we wandered and hiked to our hearts content. Had a delicious meal at Molly's thanks to Wink's suggestion. Will definitely be coming back to share the Ranch with our family and recommend it to all who need a getaway. Special thanks to Ty who set it up for us. We're didn't know how much we needed to get away until we were there!

We stayed at Southfork in August, the weather was perfect! The property is beautiful and the cabin was very nice. There is a small lake on the property that is stocked and you dont need a fishing license. We had forgotten a bag of clothes and the owner, Ty personally called and made arrangements to have them returned to us. We will be going back next year!! We had a great time!

This property is amazing! Truly, a hidden gem. We loved the secluded location with the private pond and walking access to the river for fishing. We saw wild turkey, bighorn sheep, baby tarantulas and elk. My kids loved the little playground and spent 99% of their days outside. We hiked 4 miles (out and back) of the south fork trail which was beautiful.

The cabins are clean and fully equipped. We ended up in Brookside though we booked Angler for the week of Fall break 2021.

I booked online and left a message at X Diamond Ranch. No one returned my call but the owner of South Fork Ranch did call me back after I booked. I received a confirmation with all my info and instructions.

When we checked in at X Diamond ranch they had no record of our reservation. She said we shouldn’t book online, call only. But they never called me back. 🤷🏼‍♀ fortunately our cabin was still open so we went to go drop off our things. She said the South Fork property owner never notified her of our reservation and she is the property manager. So, who knows. Of course none of the bed linens or towels had been changed since the last guests. I called the owner who told me to go back to X Diamond ranch. She moved us to another cabin which was almost exactly the same. However we learned later (after unloading everything) that the gas fireplace is not working. Wink at XD promised us a fire pit and wood the next day which saved the trip!

The beds were incredibly comfortable and cabin fully stocked with everything we needed. Even a Roku tv which we primarily used to play music via Pandora while we sat outside by the fire pit.

Despite the confusion and frustration at arrival we loved our stay. It was completely relaxing and my kids loved all the outdoor space and exploring. We fished and hiked, watched movies, slept in, cooked yummy meals and made s’mores every night. Truly a family vacation to remember. We will absolutely be back!

Lots of room and beautiful! The hot tub works great and town is not very far away for when you need supplies. We plan on coming back for hunting elk as long as we are pulled for tags.
