This hot spring is well maintained. There are multiple pools, most well shaded with awnings, with a variety of temperatures - clearly marked. There are good sized changing and showering areas. The employees are friendly and helpful. It was $10 with no reentry. We would return here.

I was just in Thermopolis so I figured I'd try the Hot Springs here too. There is a nominal entrance fee. Bathrooms, showers and lockers. Various pools at different temperatures. Most people were in the coolest of them which I believe is between 102°-105°. They go up to I think 116°. I felt a bit like Goldilocks finding out which one I liked best. I settled on the small pool at 105° and stayed there for 15-20 mins and then moved to the larger cooler pool for a few. Before I left I did dip in the hottest of the pools just for a couple minutes. Couldn't do that for too long. All felt very nice and relaxing though. Definitely worth it.

$8 for weekday entry, $12 for weekend entry. The pools are extremely crowded Friday and Saturday. $1 for the lockers to hold your belongings during your stay. The lockers only take quarters. Come here while it's snowing - it's an experience not to be missed.

Visited on a Saturday. Was there from 6pm-8 pm and it was crowded. Two hours was more than enough for me. The pools have different temperatures. The lowest temperature was 102 degrees and it was perfect. Make sure you take plenty of water. I paid $12 and there was no time limit. Very clean facility with bathrooms and changing rooms. I’ve been to Crystal Hot Springs in Utah and have to say that Lava Hot Springs is better.

It is so clear and clean with no Sulfur smell. From the hotest pool 112° to the coolest 103°, also with two tubs with jets it feels so good to sink down in the water to soak. The gardens are beautiful and very well maintained. The staff are so kind and helpful.

We found the hot springs very well organized and clearly labeled on water temps. The ramps into each pool allowed everyone in our group to adjust to water temps (toddler to senior). The 112F pool has the best shade on the grounds. After soaking we toured the secret garden. It seems to be the same property but only accessible from a path to the east and up the hill behind the historical sign. The garden was very serene and provided plenty of spots to sit and escape the heat. There's a small natural lava cave along the trail. About 2ft high, so be careful to watch your head when in and exciting.

May 19 2023 - 10 AM. Uncrowded blissful body soaking. We started at the cool pool 104° and worked our way hotter in the jet pools, then onward to more heat and enhanced relaxation. Two hours and we were done. The only thing different I would recommend is to do it After a long day - not before it. That said, even before hours of driving is well worth it. Senior discount - but no in-and-out privileges.

The staff was so nice! And the lights are pretty!
It snowed, making it a lovey memory for my friends and I.
There's extra lockers in the men and womens changing areas. Its lock is a key/ safety pin to keep attached to your stuff! But don't poke yourself!

Beautiful, relaxing and clean place. They have pools at different temperatures, just be careful not to stay to long in the pools and stay hydrated.
The town is small, but quiet, relaxing and beautiful.

Negatives: No day pass. So you can only enter once. We had to feed the kids and then go inside. There was really only 1 pool for the kids to go in (without overheating), and it was super busy that day (finding a spot to sit was tricky).

Positives: Overall, we all relaxed, enjoyed the few hours we were there, and the teens enjoyed hopping to other pools. Also, these pools didn't have any sulfur smell, which was a huge plus! (Most other mineral pools in town do have that smell)

Place was awesome, soaked for about an hour and 10 minutes. Payed $10 a person for unlimited time as long as we didn’t leave the pools.
Parking spot is right across the road and you just walk down to the pools pay for your entrance and time for a good soak.
Friendly staff, and very family friendly environment. Pools from warm to pretty hot. Highly recommend for the price.

Summer visit, amazing hot springs we visit at halfway between Yellowstone and SLC (3 hrs). Free Parking lot cross street, payment at entrance office Friday to Sunday is $12/pp, Monday to Thursday is $8. For a extra you can use the swimming pool. 5 pools with diferente temperatures 102-105, 105, 105-110, 110. Start with the coolest and soak for 10-15 minutes max per pool (my recommendation), restrooms, dressing rooms and 2-quarter lockers are available. Opens at 8am, we enter with 4-6 at that time on Friday.
