I think this is my second time posting an online review in a decade. I had an honestly genuine experience picking up a bookcase from here today with Jake, Michaele, and the rest of the staff!

The storefront has a healthy amount of IN-STOCK furniture that you can take away the same day. Most places around have a showroom-only with anywhere from a 14 week to 9 month wait time on pieces; I know that's the standard for hand-made furniture, but it deserves special mention that you can pick up something same-day here.

Jake himself is very pleasant and informed. I had an enlightening conversation with him while browsing the rest of the shop.

When I need more furniture in the future, I will return here.

The quality of Amish furniture is unmatched in the world. Jake's has an excellent selection at good prices. They take extra pride in their work. We all should be investing in American made furniture from Amish country. Real wood rather than sawdust and glue panels from China.

Have bought furniture here since Jake took over. Have completely furnished a living room and family room with couches, love seats, bookcases, a reclining chair, end tables and a coffee table to say nothing of a number of small accent pieces. The craftsmanship of all the pieces is outstanding. Both Jake and Michelle offer personalized service and helped us pick out the material we wanted to cover the couches and chairs. Since we live in Pittsburgh and have to drive nearly three hours to get to the store, and since we return repeatedly to buy things, you know how satisfied we are!!

Ordered two pieces of custom furniture recently. Worked with Jake to design every last detail. They turned out beautifully!

And because they were custom-made, they fit perfectly and were stained to match our existing woodwork exactly.

The materials, fit, finish, and craftsmanship of the products we received are top-notch.

We highly recommend and I'm sure we'll be back in the future!

Purchased a rough cherry kitchen island with a rock maple top in 2018. The island was exactly what I was looking for but the overhang and open end were backwards. Jake was able to order it flipped front to back and side to side. Perfect!

Followed that up with a office desk and Jefferson chair also made of rough cherry.

The office desk has a false set of drawers on the right hand side for a CPU. As delivered the desk just not quite deep enough to accommodate the CPU and cables but I purchased the back side of the desk unfinished (not cherry) so I was able make a few simple cuts and was good to go.

The chair is fantastic and thanks to the pandemic and me permanently working from home it gets used every day. The material is synthetic and really holds up well.

I just love these pieces.

Hands down our favorite furniture store. Would give 10 stars if possible. Everything can be customized and the prices are so reasonable for handmade furniture. Everything is beautiful and well made. Plus the staff is friendly and patient! We recommend them to everyone we know.

Beautiful and quality furniture for inside and out. Large parking lot. They so many pieces of beautiful things here. Also sell outdoor furniture & I love the lighthouses. They have things here that the kids love. It's definitely a great place to come & check out.

My husband and I were searching for a oak jewelry armoire that would match our 12 year old amish built mission style bedroom set. We found Jake's and just received our beautifully built mission style jewelry armoire! It is gorgeous and the craftsmanship is outstanding. What a great experience!! Highly recommend!! This will be a piece that we will pass down to our children!

I was quite impressed with the selection and the prices. I purchased a "kit" package of two rockers and an end table. It was a terrific value and my kids and I had fun assembling them.
