North Kingstown Transfer Stat

The transfer station in North Kingstown is awesome. It is well organized and very clean. I particularly like the service of bringing my yard waste to the compost pile and having the amazing finished product available to top dress by flower beds. I am so appreciative to the friendly and hard working town staff that keep the transfer station operating. Thank you! North Kingstown is the BEST!

For a dump this place actually is not that bad. The staff that works here is very friendly. It's easy to get in and out and the Streamline recycling is great so there is no need to sort.

I have always had a good experience buying tags, getting weighed etc. Staff is always pleasant and professional.

I've been there a few times, it is well organized, but some of the staff has such an unnecessary attitude. Like most town and state run places when you have no competition and municipal workers that don't have to worry about customer service, it is about what you expect to get.

It’s needs to open more days a week this time off year because of all the leaves

The employee there is ridiculously rude. He blocks access to the recycling dumpsters with his bulldozers while chit chatting and then yells at you for putting it in the wrong spot (and upsets your toddler in the process), and when you politely offer to retrieve said refuse he tells you you're not allowed back to the municipally run facility your tax dollars pay for. So apparently I'm not allowed to recycle anymore.

One star is probably too much. I was trying to drop off an appliance and I made the mistake of driving trough the open gate before 7:30. After I was verbally abused I backed up outside the gate and I was again berated and told he would turn me away if I didn’t wait in the street. Extremely inflexible, uncooperative and rude. His excuse for being that way was that he plowed snow all weekend and he was tired. Cry me a river pal.
