Great place to eat! Great smoky smells as soon as you walk in. The meat was tender and moist, the Mac and cheese was delicious, and the mashed potatoes were flavorful. We went at 1 when not too many people were there and it still was fresh. Would recommend!

Almost didn't stop after reading other review, but so glad we did. The place is permeated by the wonderful smell of smoked apple wood and you will come out smelling like you've been around a smoker. The staff is pleasant and helpful.

Based on the staff recommendation, we ordered the baby back ribs. The portions looked on the small side, but that was very deceiving. Our son took half of his plate to go because he couldn't finish. The ribs were very meaty, cooked perfectly, and paired perfectly with the apple flavored BBQ sauce. We also had the cornbread, which was excellent.

The food was great but we ended up going towards the end of the day and most items were sold out. We also went in on the 4th of July and they had no one old enough to sell alcohol but the employees still gave great service to all who came in as best they could. I'll definitely go back but earlier when everything isn't sold out already.

Everything was excellent. The ribs were so tasty and mouthwatering. The side dishes were also delicious. The workers gave us two drinks because we got a full rack of ribs.

Working late came here on company dime. I had Nachos and they were LOADED! Very good. Work buddy had brisket and it looked amazing. Was very good. Hopefully I can still work after all those delicious nachos.

They no longer do the beef ribs which is a shame because they were phenomenal. The Cucumber salad is tasty and refreshing. The bacon cabbage tasted very water in compared to when I have had it in previous years. But the brisket is still oh so melt in your mouth good. Still getting a 5 star just for that.

Excellent BBQ place! HUGE portions for a very fair price! An absolute must if you are in the area and love barbecue!

Loved it! The brisket and ribs were cooked just like some of the best BBQ places in Texas the sausage was really flavorful, and the sides were delicioys. The chicken was really tasty, but it was a bit dry. I'd definitely eat here again. The service was great and the price was reasonable, especially considering the area they serve.

We ordered one plate to share and they have it to us separated on two plates upon their own initiative. Five star all the way...

They smoke meat so good I tried to give my kid to the Girl at the counter, for just one more piece of brisket!!!
After eating most of a pound of brisket by myself, I look up from my Carolina Sauce covered hands in a daze. A "Smokey" fog if you will, My kid is finishing a sandwich that is filled with, smoked sausage, pulled pork, and brisket topped with coleslaw! A sandwich fit for a Dad?! A Large Dad!?! Maybe a Big Daddy!!! Yeah!!!
This is a sanctuary for carnivores!!! Might put at least one of their kids through college with my Brisket Addiction!!!

Casual BBQ joint with indoor and outdoor seating available. We both had the burnt ends and my husband also ordered the ribs. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Staff was friendly and food service was quick. Variety of drinks - both alcoholic and non alcoholic available. Small selection of desserts if you have room (we didn't). Staff thanked us for stopping by when left. We would definitely return!

Well 1st off I heard it was awesome so we decided to all go get our grub on.I ate full rack baby back ribs the mashed potatoes and gravy are a food group in it's self. When you are craving bbq ribs. In the middle of Idaho, then this is the place. Brisket is good as it gets. Have had better cole slaw but for a small location off Main street you can’t do better.

Best place in hailey to get lunch. The ribs were done to perfection and the house BBQ sauce was on point. You can smell the sweet smoke right when you walk up to the front door.

The Smokey Bone is the real deal! I have eaten Virginia, Carolina, Texas and Kansas BBQ and this place hangs with the best from any of theses states. Portions are generous and the sides are as good as the meat and the house sauces are so good....I may have stolen a bottle or two. I have been known to randomly drive from Rexburg to here, just to eat brisket and ribs. Is a 6 hour drive to much, not if you love real BBQ!!

For the person way down on the reviews who said their meat was raw......well that pink ring around the outside edge of the meat is the halo of real smoked authenticity!

We ate here for first time 2 weeks ago. It was so good we have been back 3 times since! Some of the best sauces I have ever had and very consistent smokey flavors in the brisket and pork. The chicken is something special too! My favorite place to eat in the valley.

I travel our great country and one of my favorite things to do is try BBQ everywhere. Waited two day for them to open.

I don’t like vinegar sauces.... There’s is amazing.
The Cowboy Beans are great and are truly better than BBQ beans.

The Baby back ribs, are some of, if not the best I have ever eaten.

The cornbread is so moist.

We had The Smokey Bone BBQ cater our wedding reception this last Saturday. The staff was very friendly, and the food was delicious! We had tons of leftovers that we gladly ate the rest of the week! The food was 30 min later than scheduled, but we were still able to eat about the same time. I'd highly recommend this restaurant!

Should have taken pictures of the plentiful beef ribs. We should up late maybe 20 minutes before close, so they had what they had at that late time. They were kind, they offered what they had, and threw in a little extra of the Texas toast and honey butter because what we wanted was sold out. I guess they're in is a good sign right? It was all sold out at the end of the day. Bottom line everything we ate was fabulous. I'm hesitating these days recommending places that I like, because they become inundated with travelers after. But I also feel for the local small businessman. So, here she is Smokey Bone, you please me and I'll be back.
