This restaurant has been totally renovated and is now called The Neighborhood Table and The BAH. Stopped by for cocktails, staff was friendly. Will make a point to go back again for dinner. Mediterranean flair, same ownership, comfortable atmosphere.

Good social distancing and safety measures.
The food was excellent and good portions.
The dessert was great.
Service very amicable.

First time here. Sat at the fantastic bar. Bartenders know their stuff..attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Food was exceptional. We chose pub fare. Chicken wings, burgers, southern fried chicken sammi.... can't wait to come back. Atmosphere was cozy and warm.

I have driven by Sonoma many times. Finally stopped tonight. The appetizers were scrumptious and loaded with flavor (stuffy and lettuce wraps). Our dinners were fresh and cooked perfectly. The flavoring on the fries were made with fresh garlic. Our waitress was on top of it and very pleasant. The price was right. Very happy that we stopped in.

We love Sonoma! For some reason I don’t tend to think of it right away as a top place to go out to eat at, but last nights dinner reminded me how good it is. It is unassuming from the outside, and not flashy inside (maybe the carpeted dining room gives me that feeling), but the food is always so good, as well as service. We had the steak frites with parm truffle fries, and steak was cooked perfectly, tender and the au jus on the plate alone was to die for. Crispy fries and in their own basket so they didn’t get soggy. Our server, Sarah was so accommodating and efficient, she really made the date night extra great. I love their updated menu; they now have small plates and shared plates in addition to entrees, which I appreciate bc prices are so much higher these days, and I can never finish a big entree, so for me 2 smaller plates was perfect. There was also a larger party seated nearby enjoying shared plates, and I think I’ll do the same next time family’s in town. There is also the bar/cocktail tables/pool tables in the adjoining side for a more casual experience, which we’ve done before for a quick lunch at the bar. Always felt very welcome and comfortable here, usually you’ll see family members that treat you very warmly. Thanks Sonoma, happy to have your restaurant in town!!

We always love visiting both the bar and dining area of Sonoma but, after yesterday's experience, I realized I should have publicly commended them long ago.
Yesterday I called to make a dinner reservation for 8 of us. We wanted a comfortable, friendly and familiar environment to enjoy some family time after the unfortunate passing of our dog. I called to explain the situation, with my best guess for a time. The woman who took my call expressed her condolences and was so understanding and flexible. She basically told us to come whenever we were ready and that our table would be waiting for us. We were seated in a private area, which wasn't expected but so very appreciated. The server and manager (I think?) were very attentive and one even gave us our round of shots "on her" and told us how sorry she was for our loss.
As usual, the service and food were stellar, and the drinks well made. Everything went smoothly, and the staff communicated and coordinated as though we had booked a private function area! My family is so grateful for what turned out to be a happy and healing dinner for us after a very sad day. I realize that most people won't find themselves in this particular situation, but I simply want to acknowledge the compassion and customer service that went above and beyond. Trust me, this is the norm in this place, and something that you will experience even if you are simply grabbing a drink at the bar. :)

Fantastic food, fresh and delicious. Comfortable atmosphere and unmatched service.

The Salmon and Crab cakes are delicious. We've tried almost every menu item, everything tastes fresh and flavorful.

The desert menu has a delicious selection including an amazing Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp.

Michelle was our waitress this last visit, she was extremely attentive, professional and made sure we were happy along with the rest of her tables.

Overall, if you are looking for a great restaurant, outstanding service and delicious food with affordable prices, Sonoma Bistro is the place to go!

We both had the Baked Stuffed Shrimp over linguine with Sausage appetizer. The food was fantastic, pleasantly surprised. Service was great. Social distancing was followed. I totally recommend this place and will return. I give it a 10, a rarity.

My fiance and I tried Sonoma last night and were so impressed! Everything we had was so full of flavor and the waitress, Michelle, was very attentive. The atmosphere was cozy and the prices were reasonable. The stuffies & chowder were exceptional. We highly recommend that you try it!

The people are terrific, the food is always excellent, I've been there at least 15 times (I live a mile away) I've never a disappointing meal. They offer a wide selection of high quality meals developed with imagination and flair.
The prices are low/medium, the atmosphere is equally inviting for a family dinner or a business lunch.
Our Shore Acres neighborhood association had a Christmas dinner there, they did a great job for us.
At the bar, ask for Nate, he makes a killer Martini!

We have been coming to Sonoma since we moved to Rhode Island two years ago. Went again yesterday as things have opened up in the state. First of all my compliments to them for following all the rules. I know it's frustrating for everyone, but I appreciate knowing I am as safe as I can be.

Secondly...the food is still fantastic and service impeccable. If you havent tried their French Onion soup, you are missing something special! Their broth is dreamy!

So go...be safe and kind to the staff...its not their fault they have rules to follow!

Excellent establishment. All food prepared with great taste and creative style. Beer menu selection is stellar. A wonderful Rhode Island brewery list and USA craft brews. Staff very knowledge about both the meals and beer. They are all cheerful and helpful. Will be returning often

We enjoyed a delicious meal of chicken Parmesan, mine prepared gluten free. The green beans we ordered as a side were cooked to perfection with garlic and olive oil. Service was great as well. Highly recommend.

Loved this place! Our waitress, Samantha, was great. The food was outstanding and of course I had to get a glass of wine. Can't wait to go back and try more items on the menu.

Great experience through the day. Made a reservation. Seamless and nice person to speak with. Table was waiting. GREAT beer on tap. LOVED the pumpkin ale. Delicious.
My charming dinner companion loves duck, which he said was tender and perfectly cooked. He had fried gnocchi and shaved brussel sprouts with a raspberry demiglaze. (I scored a couple of bites.) WOW!
I have been jonesing for French onion soup. Just the right amount of gruyere and the broth was exquisite. (A tad salty for me but I ate it all.) I had a "harvest salad" with a great mixture of greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, goat cheese, pine nuts...you get the drift. Nice variety. Raspberry vinaigrette. Light and quite tasty.

I have events here regularly and have consistently been impressed by the attentiveness of waitstaff, management and the owner. They all want to be sure the group enjoys themselves and that the food and room layout is just right. Very happy to have events here.

Even in these trying times Sonoma does a great job. From the dinner specials to the wine and on tap selection, they are always a step above. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the socially distanced bar still has many TVs featuring what sports there are.

Had the duck breast special, it was delicious. They had a great and varied draft beer selection as well. Will make it back for another visit, service was great as well

My wife and I really love the people, food and atmosphere at Sonoma and usually find ourselves there at least once a week! Nate at the bar couldn't be nicer and Stephanie makes some pretty awesome pies - definitely our neighborhood favorite place.

Excellent service and delicious food. Had gluten free items as well. Did not habe dessert but only because we were too full from entrees.
