This is a must stop area when you are waiting for your tour to start, not only will you be out of the sun but you will learn so much history of the Caverns! There is things to touch, read, and watch so it is enjoying and educational for the whole family! Pluse you can walk through a small section of the cave so you know what it is going to be like!

The cave visitor center smells of campfire and has a good display of the hiatory of the cave. There is a map of the cave, old tools, along with photos of the decades of viators to the cave. There was a info video playing in the center which, is good to watch before entering the cave to have a history of how the cave became what it is today.

People are nice and the caves are big... The tour inside was over an hour. I recommend bringing an extra vest..

Fairly long walk up, but when inside the cavern it takes u back down to the starting point level...thanks for that ;)

We stopped here on a whim after seeing a road sign. While we didn’t do the cave tour (it required more time than we had) we enjoyed both visitor centers and a small hike. The top visitor center restaurant was really amazing! We had low expectations given other state park type of food and we were blown away at the food quality. The Cobb salad could compete with most restaurants. And don’t miss out on the Huckleberry slushy!

We had a large group of Scouts and families. They helped us plan the event and tours so that it ran smoothly. Our tour guide, Aaron, did a fantastic job, even with a tough crowd of 7-12 year olds.
