The restaurant is a bit dated and the restrooms need desperate remodel, but the food is great and the staff is very friendly. Our go to for Chinese twice a month!

Ordered to go, got home and cashews were missing, with no hesitation they took my address which is 8 miles away and within a half hour they drove all the way out, kudos and many props for customer service .

The man who served myself and the Brother and Sister who I was with was so kind the food was wonderful I got a tufu dish with veggies!!!

Allow me to clarify... This is by no means a five star restaurant, but it is definitely five stars for what it is- American style, Chinese cuisine. Amazing stop for greasy, classic take-out. Never had a bad experience!

Been going here the past three years. There is another same type of food restaurant, but we prefer Ocean Pearl. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Food is flavorful, tasty, and we usually finish it all. Haven't been disappointed yet so we will continue to do business with them.

Great food. Very impressed by the level of freshness. Ordered kung pao chicken and cashew chicken. Both were very fresh. Vegetables were lightly cooked, nicely firm, and very tasty. Chicken was not fried, but cooked in the wok. Sauces were very tasty and not overpowering. Service was fantastic. Everyone was very friendly. Staff are Vietnamese, so food seems much healthier than traditional American "chinese" food. Spicy mustard is homemade and HOT! I really enjoyed eating here and will definitely return.

Everything was good and fresh. The best parts of the chicken was used, no sinew or fat! Egg drop soup was homemade, didn't taste like Knorr soup with egg. Gentleman who brought out order was polite and professional. Proud to have Ocean Pearl in Delta. We will be going there again.

Loved it! Very fast and clean place. The food was delicious with great portion sizes. Recommend the shrimp chow fun.

CHAPTER 1
I Wasn't planning on writing a review today; was checking to make sure they were open before sending husband down to pick up dinner, you never know what is going on where or when with the never ending craziness around. I was extremely disappointed to see a negative review about the Pearl. They have persevered through what has been a very difficult time for any small business. They have consistently provided great food and even went out of their way to come out to our vehicle to take and deliver our order.
IF someone says they got sick after eating there and thought it was their duty to publicly complain, shouldn't they let us know what they ate? Why would you feel it was necessary to mention another restaurant? There are far too many vindictive people allowed to ruin others lives.
Great news! He just called to order and contrary to previous comment, their phone is NOT disconnected.
CHAPTER 2
I waited a few days before submitting my follow-up on the outcome of our takeout order. I figured we should be thorough and eat it all, 2 dinners and 1 lunch later, It was a completely delicious success! We had the Combination Lo Mein, which had lots of the proteins, shrimp, beef, chicken, crispy veggies, the little bitty ears of corn...in a awesome sauce on oodles of noodles. My only negative is, I think they have changed noodles these seemed thinner, ok honestly I was extremely disappointed I love chubby, chewy noodles. We also had the Happy Family, another wonderful dish that includes everything. No argument about beef or chicken, it's in there along with the shrimp, which are large and cooked perfectly. Vegetables+++.
A prior review on here accused the Pearl of food poisoning, no mention of what they ate that might of caused their? The dishes we had contained almost every food item. We didn't get even the slightest bit of stomach distress. Their mention of another Chinese restaurant (revealing their motive) made their review a horrible wrong to the Ocean Pearl whom have worked hard to stay open for our community.

Our favorite resturant, service is friendly, large variety menu, no endless waiting on the meal ordered, waiter exceptional, food hot and delicious.

This is our first time eating here & we are so impressed. Great customer service. The food is great & servings are huge compared to the other restaurant in town. We will be returning!! Thank you.

They have great menus with a wide variety of meals to choose from. And there appetizers are a welcome part of the menus. They have tables and booths for seating. The store is clean and the evening meals are priced in the medium price range. They have a lunch buffet that is cheaper before 2:00 pm. But you can see this for yourself. Parking out back of store.

What a pleasant and welcome surprise to have stumbled upon this gem! The food was delicious and a more than adequate portion size. We had pad Thai with tofu along with chicken with garlic sauce. We ordered the chicken spicy but it was quite mild however this is the only "con" we had. The tofu was cooked perfectly-- slightly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The servers did seem a bit inexperienced when asked questions about the menu items but seemed to be trying their best to please. A very unassuming outer appearance but get past that and enjoy a great meal.

Great food. Fast and fresh. Good customer service. Very friendly staff. Affordable. Always leave full and happy.

Best Chinese food in the Delta area. A bit pricey but totally worth it! Mandarin Beef is my favorite and my kids love the poopoo platter.....it comes to the table on fire!
