Very weathered cemetery; few plots with legible markers. Small picnic area. Wild West vibes.

The cemetery is a little dive from the town of Rhyolite on a gravel road. There are numerous visible graves and several are marked.

The road is a little rough but adventures. This place is very interesting and filled with stories. Just go ahead and read what's written on the graves - where people were born and when, what age they had died and where did that happen. It's like a history lesson. But this history is deeply touching because you can see it with your own eyes.

Really powerful. It's heartbreaking to see how many graves don't have names, barely mounds under the desert sun. The ones who have more recent markers or boundaries are a glint of hope knowing someone remembered and cared enough to honor their loved ones. Rest in love and light to all those beneath the stones at Rhyolite.

Very nice cemetery. Not many visitors. Seems kind of forgotten. Very creepy and haunted. Many shallow graves. You can hear voices in the wind and people carrying on conversations when no one else is there. Many restless spirits. Be careful when visiting.

1st time visiting this old cemetery. Amazed of how many people where in there. History has some names but alot are missing during the time period. This cemetery is over a century old. Neat stop !

It's a beutiful and peaceful place to visit and spend the night in. It may be hard to find the cemetery if it is your first time visit but there will be a sign on the road that will tells you which way and direction to follow in order to find your way to Bullfrog-Rhyolite Cemetery. Also be careful when you are walking round, inside the cemetery, some of these old graves could not be seen just by looking but there is still something that can tells you if you used common sense. Just for your safety and being respectful to the dead, watch your step so you don't step on the grave. Use common sense and you will be good.

Are you kidding me. This is a great cemetary to explore. While visiting, please be respectful. Also, bring change as many people leave change to honor those buried here. Also, be on the lookout for snakes and scorpions. This cemetary reminds me of how tough life use to be and how grateful I am fir their sacrifices.

Fascinating place to visit... if only the place could talk... the stories it would tell.

Quiet and peaceful. Just outside of Death Valley, about 5 miles from Beatty NV. Ruins of the old jail in Bull Frog and the Cemetary remain. Definitely worth a stop. Then head about a mile up the road to Rhyolite and explore the old mining town. There's a small Museum and some permanent artwork that's definitely worth a look.

What a nice, historic spot on the edge of town. Just outside the cemetry gate is a nice bench and garbage receptacle which I ate lunch at overlooking the mountain range to the west. Amazing!! IG: TheOverlandSurfer

Old cemetery in the middle of the desert. The town only lasted a short time so you can see the beginning and end of the people who lived there thru the tombstones.

We went to see if we could get any responses. Our spirit box was very active especially at the grave of James Clayton.
