Adventure Missoula

Did a half day trip yesterday with our guide Meriwether. Trip was awesome! Short walk to put in, saw a few bald eagles and even a black bear! This wasn't my first raft trip and I can say Meriwether did a great job as our guide and had made us all feel comfortable and safe. Highly recommended.

Meriwether was a great guide and knowledgeable. I can now check white water rafting off my bucket list but I'll just put it back on again because it was so much fun. We are in our 60's and had a great time.

We had the best day on the river, first time out for our kids (8, 10 & 12). Jared was such a great teacher, and prepared a fantastic lunch with lettuce from his garden. We caught a fish, soaked in the scenery, enjoyed the rapids, and 8 hours flew by like it was 3. Experience of a life time!

Had a wonderful time both rafting and fishing. So much wildlife to see on early morning rafting trips from bald eagles to deer. The team was professional and attentive navigating the river. It was a blast and highly recommend.

This was the best part of our week in Montana. Tyler was an outstanding fishing guide and river rafter. It was like having two trips - each being good enough to call the day outstanding - combined into one - great fishing, and great whitewater rafting.

Our boat had high mounted seats with backs. I even had a small platform in front of my bow seat to stand on and fly cast for the rainbow trout that I caught. I'm a bit new to fly fishing and walked away from our day with a lot of new and valuable knowledge about river fishing and fly fishing in general.

Everyone was so nice and welcoming! The horses were beautiful and well taken care of! Would definitely do this again! Such a gorgeous trail ride next to the river!

On vacation in Coeur D’ Alene and we decided to drive over and do a private full-day rafting/fishing trip for the day. From the moment I booked Adventure Missoula was very communicative. They sent very detailed instructions on what to bring, how to get there and reminders/updates so we always felt on top of things. Once we arrived we met our guide, Jim. Jim was great: very hardworking, polite and knowledgeable. He had patience in spades for my family, who aren’t the best fishers in the world. He worked hard to make sure we had a great time and did a lot to teach us how to be better casters and where to look for fish in the future. The rafting part of the trip was beautiful and fun. It’s the best way to see the Glen Fork and Montana! I can’t recommend these guys enough.

We had an amazing time on the Clark Fork with this outfit, especially our guide Naomi. She was fun, safe, and helped make the day a special memory for myself, my wife, our 2 kids (8 and 11). We did the full day raft trip, and it was the highlight of our week in Montana/N Idaho. Great lunch, amazing views, and some serious fun (even though water wasn’t running too high, but was perfect for our crew)- Thanks to the entire staff and especially Naomi for the great times!

Brandon and Naomi were great guides and were very helpful on training and safety. They made the trip fun pointing out lots of wildlife and teaching us about the needed fire prevention services. Enjoyed the stop partially through to stretch legs and take pictures.

We took a half day whitewater rafting adventure with Naomi and we had such a great time! This was our first time whitewater rafting, and she was patient with us—and helped us learn what we were doing so we could enjoy our day on the water. We took a late afternoon tour to avoid the heat and the water was beautiful! Naomi was very knowledgeable about where to go on the river, and told us lots of fun stories on our trip. She also stopped and let us cliff jump, as well as play some fun river games during the slower parts of the river. We saw several bald eagles, both young and older ones, we saw a doe and her fawn, an osprey, and we even saw a bunch of turkeys on our drive back to the shop! We are grateful for Naomi making our visit to Missoula such a great time! We would love to come back and do an all day adventure next time! Thanks so much!

Had a wonderful experience!!!! Very knowledgeable staff on horses and horsemanship. The ride was along the Clark Fork river and was very relaxing and enjoyable. No matter your riding skill level this is a must to make great memories!!! Thanks Amandine

Wow. What an incredible experience. Our guide, Tyler, was absolutely fantastic. A total pro on the water, navigating the river and the rapids with clear knowledge. He was also just an awesome person. We had a friggin blast. We even went swimming for a bit and jumped off a giant rock into the water. Definitely a bucket-list worthy afternoon on the Clark Fork River!

We had a great time. Matt was an excellent guide with a great sense of humor. The rapids were perfect for a couple of first timers. Weather & water were in perfect order for our experience. We would definitely use them again. Only negative was the lack of adult sized t shirts for sale with their logo. I would of loved one.

The kids and I loved our rafting and fishing tour. Tucker, our guide was extremely accommodating as we wanted an earlier departure than 8 am. I have two very satisfied teenagers with their fishing success. Highly recommend this trip for families. This is our second visit.

The sunset horseback riding was amazing! Beautiful views, and the guides were so sweet and friendly. They were also able to accommodate us same day. Highly recommend :)

I was really nervous before this trip, even though it was toward the end of the season and I knew it would be less risky. Lukas, our guide was amazing. He answered all of my questions and went above and beyond to make sure we knew all that we needed to know to be safe and have fun. Lukas was calm, informative, funny, and kind. He prepared us for every rapid and made sure we knew we had a role to play if we wanted to get through it successfully. I would highly recommend floating this river with an experienced person, though I know there are a lot of private rafters that go. It was nice to have someone who knows the river, can read the currents, and knows how to get you out of a bad situation if need be. Lukas said when the day was over we would love it and wish for more rapids...he was right!

My family and I had a great rafting trip in early July. We had 19 of us in 3 boats. This is a beautiful stretch of river and the three guides (Benjamin, Landon, Matt) made this a super fun outing for all of us. Registering was easy, Sara got all the admin stuff squared away, the launch site is easy to find - all around a very professional and well run organization.

I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a white water rafting adventure in the area.

My cousin and I thoroughly enjoyed our trail ride! The ranch itself, while a bit challenging to find, was gorgeous. The evening is a perfect time for a ride. The horses were obviously well taken care of, and I appreciate the optional riding helmets. As a novice rider, I appreciated the careful leadership of the handlers as well as the help mounting and dismounting my horse.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this experience to other visitors.

My husband and I celebrated our 15th year anniversary on the river rafting trip through Adventure Missoula, and it was a great experience! A special shout out to our guide, Meriwether, who made the trip down the river exciting, fun, and educational. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the river, and my husband was excited to encourage her to name "Karate Chop Rock". We highly recommend taking this trip, and would definitely come again!

We had an AMAZING time! Our guide, Evan, was incredible. Organized, informative, friendly and fun! We had a blast over all the rapids & laughed during the easy stretches. Would highly recommend!
