Bagley's Teton Mountain Ranch

Cannot say enough good things! We had a group of 11 beginner riders and it was the absolute best experience. This is a family-owned operation and they were welcoming, patient, and all around great people. It felt like a true, local experience and not some touristy horseback riding. We did the 2 hour trail ride and it's truly something I'll never forget. Insanely beautiful views of different landscapes for the entire ride and great horses (shoutout to Rudy!). Cannot recommend them enough.

Wonderful experience with this sweet family! We have been on many trail rides and this was one of the best we have been on. The horses looked healthy and happy. I rode Sage who handled the trails like a boss. The owners and their grand daughters were very knowledgeable, good conversationalists and organized. We will be back to this ranch!

My husband and I went in their 3 hour morning trail ride and it was wonderful. They are very experienced and patient with novice riders. It was a beautiful ride and wasn’t just simple trail- we went over downed trees and up and down steep slopes. A lot of fun and well worth the price.

We had a beautiful 2 hour ride today. Everyone was so nice and helpful. We took our 7 year old and he did great on the horse thanks to the ranch owner and other experienced patient riders/ranch family members who guided us. Beautiful views and was an exciting ride. Highly recommend from start to finish.

This was our first time visiting the Teton Valley and the first time being on horses. We had an amazing time! This is a family run operation and they were wonderful. They treated their horses well and gave helpful tips when any of the horses misbehaved. :) Their love for the area was evident and we enjoyed learning more about it. The ride was beautiful and fun. I would highly recommend taking a horse ride with them! We will be back!

The Bagley family was very personable, professional and knowledgeable. We had a fantastic time on the 2 hour ride. Our horses were well trained and well behaved. The area was absolutely beautiful. We rode through valley's, streams and mountainous terrain and enjoyed the splendor of nature. I would absolutely recommend this ride to anyone. Thanks so much to the Bagley's for an amazing ride.

The highlight of our trip! We had the best time on our trail ride! The horses were beautiful and well mannered. Kent, Ashley, and Cassidy were our trail guides. They were all so nice. What a beautiful, scenic, mountain ride. We loved every minute, thank you!

During our stay in the Teton Valley we took our two kids(12 and 10) horseback riding here. We've been on a few other horseback rides in the area but Teton Mountain Ranch was far and away the best experience we've had. The family that owns the outfit is very personable - they were great guides and made the experience enjoyable. The trail and views were awesome. We can't recommend this place enough!!!

Wonderful! Would highly recommend! Pauline and Kent and their granddaughters were fantastic at helping and accommodating our large group! Each one had a wonderful time. They were knowledgeable and kind and so helpful for those who didn’t know how to ride! The horses were wonderful as well and I can’t say enough good about them!

Amazing, knowledgeable, and warm staff, wonderful trails with fantastic views. I would highly recommend a ride with this ranch they far exceeded my expectations. Did two rides this week and already planning another, I drove 16 hours for this trip should give some sense of the quality time I shared at this ranch.

They have two cabins for rent on Airbnb, they are perfect! Room to sleep about 6 people and a kitchenette. Right outside are horses and a herd of 300 elk! Perfect place to stay in victor Idaho.

The trail rides up into the mountains are just spectacular and worth every cent. They are very kind people and always look out for their guests.

Kent and his family showed us the best time at the ranch for horseback riding!! They took us on the most breathtaking trail with views that stunned us. Their horses were great and they provided excellent direction so we felt safe and secure the entire time. 10/10 recommend!

Cabin was extremely clean and well appointed. The ride was spectacular!!! I am an experienced horsewoman and I was amazed at the quality of the horses along with breathtaking scenery. We did the all day ride with a great lunch spot and great company. Our trail boss who is the owner and his wife Pauline and their grandkids were as nice as can be. Really great people!

We went on a horseback ride as a family and had a great time!! The owners and staff are wonderful salt of the earth people. I read through some negative reviews when I came to leave my review and I think that some of the negatives left were about punctuality.

We had no problem with this at all. I think some people expect a horse team to function like a ride at Disneyland and have expectations that aren’t accurate. Something as beautiful as these rides can’t be put on a conveyor belt and so timing could be different at times. Hopefully people can come on vacation and relax and enjoy this country on the back of a horse and calm their souls. :)

Our two guides (the owner and his wonderful grand-daughter) were so wonderful to talk to along the way and pointed out things that one would have to live here for a lifetime to know.

My advice when seeking a horseback riding tour in the Teton area: Go with Teton Mountain Ranch!

Our family did a half day trail ride with Kent and his granddaughter Kaitlin. It was such a great experience. They truly are lovely people who care about you having a good time. Our kids had fun with Kent who is so interesting and knowledgeable about the area. The horses are well behaved and the scenery is absolutely stunning.

My husband and I were in town for a work conference and unsure if we'd have the chance to go riding. We had a window of time pop up, and after calling in the morning, they were able to take us out for a 3 hour ride that same afternoon. Due to the short notice and chilly/windy temps, we were the only people scheduled for the ride, yet they still took the time to accommodate us. Truly warm, wonderful people.
Their ranch has been in the family for 5 generations, and they're still going at it. It doesn't get more authentic than this. I've been on trail rides at other places where the horses just mechanically follow the horse in front of them, and wouldn't trot no matter how much you urge them on -- this is not that experience (in all the best ways). The horses are very well mannered, but not robots. They follow direction impeccably, and are very sure footed, but they'll also be happy to stretch out their legs and giddyup if you'd like! (Don't worry, we were told they have specific older horses for children or more timid riders.) Wonderful experience, and spectacular array of views - we'll definitely be back whenever we're in town.

We did the one hour trail ride, and it was lovely. A quiet ride through the old forest and then a spectacular view from the ridge top. These guys seem to be a small, family-owned business, and it shows in their hospitality. We called the morning of and they were happy to accommodate us. And the horses were very nice! I hope to come back for a longer ride some day!

This has been such an incredible experience. The ranch has only two huts which are very clean and cozy. We did horseback-riding and the elktour and both have been fantastic. The owners are lovely and really care about creating a wonderful experience for their guests. I can totally recommend this to anyone who wants a low-key and friendly time in this beautiful part of the world.
Do not expect breakfast etc. There is a small kitchen in the hut and some good restaurants in town. For breakfast I highly recommend Aztec Fusion which just opened in June of 2018.
