Mann's Mercantile

I called Mann’s Mercantile when my bike tire blew to see if they have supplies. They said they could help and had supplies for a new inner tube. The owner of Mann actually took his truck out to find us and help us since we had to walk a decent way to get there. It was a very kind thing to do and completely unexpected. I recommend Mann’s Mercantile to anyone who needs anything while on Washington Island.

Mann's Merc has great Washington Island stuff, but the store is WAY more than that. It is really a full up hardware store, with souvenirs and snacks in the front. The actual store has most everything you need, from fasteners, tools, plumbing, electrical, paint -- you need it, they likely have it. Friendly help, good selection, and reasonable prices (given that it is on an island one ferry ride past the end of the earth). A well run store that has just what you need where you need it!

House made variety of soups chili was good, I would like more chili powder, not heat, just chili.
Potato soup was amazing, great bacon flavor and not thick.
Saw the French onion that looked great with browned cheese.
We tried several pies between us, everyone was delicious, flakey crust.
Don't be discouraged about the line of it's busy. They move you through efficiently and bring your order to the table.

Any time we’re on Washington Island, we stop here first. They have a number of Washington Island clothing items at reasonable prices and usually have some on sale. There are also a number of postcards, magnets, and other souvenir items to purchase year-round. We also enjoy looking at the decor for purchase- mostly beach and gnome-themed items. There are also a number of items crafted by local residents for sale. Love to see local artists supported! Restrooms are clean and very nice. Staff is friendly and have good suggestions if you are looking for somewhere to go and see on the island as well.

Must stop on the Island! They have it all and you have to get an Island shirt, hoodie, or hat! They have a variety of other great things to consider as well, postcards, magnets, mugs or you name it. The fudge is made local as well and worth a try. Great overall merch for the entire family!

This place has a little bit of everything that you might want! Hats? Gloves? Sweatshirts? Shirts? Puzzles? Food? Light bulbs? Yes they got it all! And they're so very helpful and friendly!

Fun little shop on the island. Souvenirs mostly revolve around large t-shirt and sweatshirt selection, with small novelty area. Worth the stop while visiting the island.

The store and the workers are the best Make sure when you are on Washington island to stop by and check out the fudge. Make sure you talk to the owners. The family is the most wonderful people you will ever meet.. Make sure you check out their new cabins behind the store

I've never found a fudge I liked until I went to this hardware store:) a must stop on the island. Great for shirts,mugs, and everything else islandy also a great hardware store and citgo. There's a little store out front run by a guy named Ragnar nicest people and great unique items really great place all around...and best fudge ive ever had (coffee)

Always there for the island, we do alot of fishing and whenever we need supplies or tools Manns mercantile is the place we go. Great selection of tools, toys, supplies, merch, and of course delicious fudge.

Wow what a jem, loved this little place, we bought three necklaces, and a pair earings that we love and cherish, they told us the bulding came from Norway, a d they even came to make sure it was assembled correctly, beautiful place, would highly recomend stopping by to check it out..

Always a great stop on the island. You will find the best selection of shirts. Good place for souvenirs also.
