He Hop Chinese Restaurant

I’ve been going here for years! I really enjoy the beef with broccoli and the veggie lo mein and the shrimp fried rice.:) with a pork egg roll

This was my first visit, and I usually judge a asian, restaurant by their egg foo yong, so I have to say that this was the most authentic egg foo yong I’ve been served, it was made without all the fillers that make you feel full (gluten free). I think I’ll try the chicken wing with pork fried rice tomorrow.

Been ordering from here for years and the food just gets better and better each time. If I ever move out of the Apopka I will travel just to get good here it’s literally the best

Lived in Mt dora for 2 years & never tried He Hop, just because of the reviews, even though I visit the plaza every day. I am So glad I did!!!!
Their boneless ribs & Krab rangoon are amazing, as well as everything else I tried (bourbon chicken, moo goo gai pan, general those, etc)
Except the rice!!! I don't know why they use yellow rice with everything else tasting authentic. Sub rice for any type of Lo Mein (which is soo yummy!!) & you've got an amazing meal!!!! Always super hot & fresh!! Great egg rolls too!! This is some of as close as I can get to long Island NY takeout.

We almost didn’t try this place because of the reviews and I’m really glad we took a chance because the food was phenomenal! My husband got a beef curry dish with house fried rice and I got the combo orange chicken dish that came with pork fried rice and an egg roll and we both really enjoyed our meals. A lot of these negative reviews were from at least a year ago and we are new to the area so can’t speak on past quality but our take out meal was quick and steaming hot and really delicious. Take the chance you won’t be disappointed!

If you love Chinese food. You'll love it here. Delicious food, fast service, and friendly staff.

The two times I’ve ordered from here have been great. Especially with so much bad Chinese around this one was enjoyable. Maybe they lack consistency based on other reviews

I’ve had a variety of different meals from here and I can honestly say, I was pleased with all of them! from the seafood dishes to mei fun, chicken , beef dishes..different appetizers all were really good! I like He Hop as well because they aren’t too salty. Also I’ve had some modification requests and they were pleased to do it! Definitely recommend.

Finally tried Chinese restaurant 😋 insanely delicious. Ordered General Tsao's Chicken with pork fried rice, egg roll & crab ragu...my new favorite Chinese restaurant in Apopka. Need to check ✔ this place out.

This place rocks! I used to go to it's previous incarnation for about 20 years when the owners were on Lee Road in Winter Park! The food is most excellent ❤ the House Fried Rice is my favorite and I am addicted to the egg rolls. The portions are large too.
I live alone so I divide a meal into 3 sections. I eat one and freeze the other 2 for later.
Highly recommended !!!

Have you ever had chinese that doesn't taste processed and actually tastes natural? This is the place. I love their boneless spare ribs and have become addicted. They have great fried wings as well. Their rice is actually fluffy and taste like rice, not like the other places with hard rice. Everything tastes fresh and real.

The food is really good and the portions are huge. You really get your money's worth.

Foods good, well made, rice is the cheap yellow kind no flavor, everything else is good.

Once you understand how to order you will always get what you want. Hunan shrimp with white Garlic sauce or Curry shrimp. The best. Thank you.

He hop makes quick and consistent food. And placing an order over the phone is quick and concise, they ask you what you want, and inform you that you can pick it up in 15 minutes.

The best pork fried rice and chicken wings I ever ate .The chicken wings are good , crispy and not greasy .

He Hop's food is excellent and the service is very efficient as we deal with Covid. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area
