1120 Prime Steakhouse

Ate here for the first time tonight. The owners were so very nice and personable. The service was excellent and the food great. We each had the 8oz filet and it was grilled perfectly and so very tender and tasty. The meat even had a slight wood fired taste to it. We had a loaded baked potato and a sweet potato. The fresh bread was hot and tasty. The beer was ice cold and served in a frosted mug. Excellent dinner.

First visit to this restaurant. "I'll be back". Service was excellent. Food was excellent. I would describe the ribeye as "melt in your mouth". My wife had the prime rib & she said it was excellent. Comfortable atmosphere & friendly staff. You better try this place if you're looking for the best steak you've ever had!

Every dinner at 1120 Prime is worth its weight in Gold! Their staff is friendly and always very welcoming. You need to try their stuffed mushrooms and never pass up the peach cobbler for dessert! Their wine selection is wonderful but I do recommend calling for a reservation as they do fill up quickly.

Great surprise! The steaks were excellent and cooked perfectly as well as the sides. Our service was excellent. Our waitress was very considerate asking whether we were ready to have our order put in after seeing our cocktails 1/2 finished. She was very on top of everything. Would not hesitate to go back.

Service is amazing. Waitress took 5 top order of drinks, apps and food with no notes. Everything was prompt and correct. Refills on drinks came every time my glass was 1/4 full. Had the 18oz ribeye. I personally like fattier cuts but it was cooked perfectly med-rare, very tasty. Side carrots drizzled in some honey glaze are amazing. Sweet potato with cinnamon butter was great. Free bread is pretty tasty too. Since I'm used to Jupiter/Palm Beach prices it was fairly cheap as well. They have a nice 6-8 seat bar if you just want to grab an amazing ground chuck burger.

Delish filet mignon. Bread, potatoes and carrots I loved- and I don't usually like cooked carrots.
Service was very nice, young man took care of everything and we weren't rushed. It was a lovely evening for my friend and I to catch up. I would return!!!!
And the peach cobbler is a must!

I have been to almost every High end Steak House in the area, there food is on point. We went with a party of 8. Everyone's dinner was perfectly cooked. there food can compete with any High End Restaurant. If your looking for a great Steak house, at the fraction of the price, go to 1120 Prime.

We just moved to the area and have been in twice now. Its a smaller restaurant so I could tell the server was busy but she gave us no indication of it asking our names and coming back multiple times to check in us. Barbara was very friendly and made us feel at home.

I had the steak tips and twice baked potato. Its a huge meal. I had to take half home. I basically got 8oz of filet mignon out of that meal for $27 which i consider extremely reasonable. The taste was outstanding. I had mine with bearnaise.... perfect.

The peach cobbler was literally the best ive ever had. Im going tonight just to get that. Its perfectly crisp crust with peaches that aren't overly sweetened. Just perfect for my liking.

Im going to try the meatball appetizer tonight and a burger just to see the lower priced entrees now.

This is a great place in Hobe Sound.
You get plenty what you pay for.
Waiter was friendly and knows the menu and great on wine list. Sorry I forgot his name but will be back. Rib eye was cooked the way I wanted it. We were there on Sept.6 .Go you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely delicious. I had the shrimp and lobster scampi and my husband had the NY strip. Both were cooked perfectly and were so tasty. Generous portions and fair pricing! Highly recommended!

Best steak around! They dry age their own prime cuts on-site and grind their burgers fresh daily. They are under new ownership and Chef Kelly has really taken things up a notch. He's redesigning parts of the menu and redone the dining room. He's also added this smoked fish dip from Food Island that is out of this world. Go soon, you'll be impressed!

Outstanding steak dinner in a cozy restaurant. Make your favorite cocktail at home as the restaurant serves only good wine and beer with a very good meal.

Highly Recommended. Skip old reviews as they don’t apply anymore. It was our first time to 1120 Prime and we were pleasantly surprised. We will be back. The décor has been nicely updated since many of the older review photos, it is modern and clean and not the slightest bit stuffy. It was off season on a Sunday night, so it was not busy, and the service was friendly and excellent.

In addition to the wonderful bread that was put on the table, we had the meatball appetizer, spinach salad, wedge salad and we each had the sirloin (béarnaise sauce the other with the au poivre sauce) Lyonnaise potatoes and vegetables. Everything arrived with perfect timing, was tasty and cooked perfectly. In addition, we had a very nice bottle of wine. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and service.

I encourage the proprietor to find an ad-free background music and get a web-site to showcase your remodel and excellent menu – you deserve it. Like I said we will be back – soon!

We had a great meal here: wife and I both ordered the Filet Mignon with Au Porier sauce and mashed potatoes. Everything was excellent. Probably the best steak that I’ve had in a very long time. Even beat out Morton’s.

Great atmosphere! All the staff were very friendly and helpful in deciding what foods to try! Food was delicious!! I plan to back when I'm visiting the area again!

Hidden gem in the Hobe Sound. World class steaks and lobster. Excellent wine selection. You feel like family when you eat there. If you like Capitol Grille you will love 1120 Prime.

I love this quaint little, family owned place.
The food is amazing ,I always get the New York strip steak and creamed spinach. It is sooooo good. It would be the perfect place for a date. Especially for the steak lovers.

We have dined her about half a dozen times. The food has been fantastic every time as well as the service. 5 stars for great food and consistency.

Had dinner there last night with my wife, the steaks were cooked to perfection, spinach salad was mouth watering , I recommend this steakhouse . The staff was very appeasing.
