Sausage Shack of Winter Park

I found a Groupon for the sausage shack and since my boyfriend usually begins to salivate over hotdogs and bratwurst, I knew we had to try it. We were greeted by one of the owners at the window and it was almost closing time, but it wasn't an issue whatsoever. It being our first time he was very helpful in helping us make the right selections. I recommend the chimichurri chorizo sausage it was flavorful, juicy, and left two people fighting over the one that was ordered. :) I am looking forward to going back. We had a delightful experience!

This quaint little place was really good. Nice variety of sausages. Pretzel was yummy with the cheese sauce. Service was good. They explained it all if needed. Prices don’t match their menu on line. Tried the bangers and mash. Very flavorful. Good mustard bar selection also.

Fantastic place for sausages! The prices aren’t that bad... but often times you can find a good deal for them on Groupon. If you aren’t sure what sausage you prefer, get the sampler. It has a lot of different kinds and includes a pretzel. There’s not indoor seating here so make sure you pick a day with nice weather.

Fantastic sausages, we could not choose a favorite out of the four saussge sample! The beers were all tasty and refreshing on a hot day. Best of all, it was a terrific huge soft pretzel, the best either of us ever had, especially with the beer cheese sauce. We're loved sitting outside, by the fountain, relaxing with good food and good beer, perfect afternoon!

Best new restaurant I've tried in the past year. The sausages are so tender and pact with juice. You almost don't even need a drink.

I always go with the build your own. Brautwurst on a buttered hoagie roll with chimichurri on top. The sweet hot mustard is good enough to drink.

Bought this on a groupon and was pleasantly surprised. The sausages were amazing and the pretzel was soft and warm. Plenty of sauces to try . And the beer variety was wide

I had the hot dog and my husband had the traditional sausage. Excellent! Topping were great and there's a mustard bar with at least 10 different types of mustard. We had a hard time choosing a favorite, they were all so good!
Great staff, super fast. Excellent location in Hannibal Square near Historic Downtown Winter Park. If you love hot dogs and sausages this place is a must try!!!

Love this place. It's literally a little shack with outdoor seating but they serve the most amazing hotdogs and sausages. While the majority of the seating is outside they do have their own restrooms. If you are facing Sausage Shacks order window, follow it's wall to your left. Restroom is always clean when we visit.

We typically order bangers and mash with every meal, however the cotton candy dog is surprisingly good.

I went here with my husband and daughters. They enjoyed the Cotton candy dog and we had a beerwurst and some apple cider rose. The place is in a magical little location with a fountain and a barbershop. The lady was so sweet and had the softest eyes she was legit a angel. Such great food. Great service I loved it!

My wife and I were visiting from out of town and stopped here for lunch to try their hot dogs. Good food and excellent customer service. Impressed by how friendly all the employees were with us. Also getting to eat outside in the beautiful patio area was a great experience. Next time we're in Orlando we'll definitely be coming back.

Surprisingly good! Had the sausage and beer tasting menu which paired 4 different sausages with 4 beers for 2 people. Also came with a big beer pretzel. Would have been $31 without the groupon. But the sausages, especially, were so good, I'd definitely go back without the groupon. Hit this place next time you're in Winter Park.

I work down the road from the mall and head over to the food court every now and then for lunch. After passing it multiple times I finally decided to try Sausage Shack and it is officially my favorite place to eat in the mall. The food was delicious and filling, and the owner was delightful. He was very welcoming and you can tell that he truly does care to ensure that everyone is served properly and has a great experience. I'll definitely be going again.

Just ate the Beer Bratwurst with sauerkraut raw onion and with garlic mustard. It was so unbelievably good after the finished I had to get up and get a second. Will be returning here regularly. Also did an amazing job asking me what I liked so I could get the right toppings, mustard (he has around a dozen), and of course type of sausage. All around perfect experience

The owner is so passionate about his work and is incredibly friendly! The Polish sausage on Portuguese bread with BBQ mustard and sautéed onion is fantastic. The red velvet cake was also great. Definitely check this place out!

Great Food! I was really impressed with the mozzarella chicken and the chorizo. Great mustard selection!

I went with a groupon and got it for carry out. The beer cheese was all right, but you can’t go wrong with sausages and a mustard bar! Plus, the whole area is lit up and gorgeous in the evenings.

Great sausages! I went with a vegan hubs got kielbasa. So good. Love me some sauerkraut on a pretzel roll.
We got two sausages & two beers for $17👌🏻They have a handful of craft beers to choose from too. Got a bottle of Hofbräu hefe🍻

Great food and great ambiance here at Sausage Shack of Winter Park. My son loved his Kielbasa with chili, sauerkraut, and mustard yum! The sides were really good too.We had macaroni and cheese and mash potatoes and they were tasty with just the right amount of salt. The mac and cheese was cheesy and hot. The mash potatoes tasted like really mashed potatoes delicious. Stellar customer service everytime we come here! We had Chris last time and Nic this time. Nic is a great conversationalist. Keep up the great job guys!

Update: Super happy that Chris reached out and addressed my concerns, explaining what the misunderstanding was. Looking forward to trying it again. In fairness, the dog itself was amazing!!

Ordered lunch today (from Foodsby delivery) when I saw they had a Chicago Dog. I was soooo excited as I haven't had one since I was in Chicago. Much to my disappointment there was no tomato and no mustard :( What a bummer!! If I give it another go, it'll be in the restaurant so I can make sure it's made right. Not a Chicago dog when it's missing 2 key ingredients.

Great experience all around whenever I visit. Really great food. They have some neat novelty items too, like a donut dog. Super friendly staff and great outdoor location. Great place to take your kids if you’re visiting the park up the road!
