Blue Jacket Park

This is a really nice park with a lot of room for people to walk and play. The fountain and bridge were neat to see.

Very well kept park. Not a lot of shade on the walking trail section. The baseball fields have shaded seating.

Came to visit since I went to boot camp here 34 years ago. Very nice park for walks, etc. has softball field, basketball courts, beautiful oak trees. Added a photo I found online that shows the old layout of the training center vs now.

Awesome Park! Very Clean and Beautiful! Lots of shade and trees. Nice bridge And fountain for photos. Very wide open grass area to walk dogs or play field sports. Baseball fields and snack bar for little league. Wide paths for running scooting or jogging. Saw a few people doing yoga and exercising. Water fountains and picnic tables available. Overall beautiful park and very clean. Pick up your trash and be nice to animals.

Visiting Blue Jacket Park was a very nostalgic experience. My husband Tom joined the Navy in 1988 and attended boot camp in this exact same spot. and one of the pictures he is standing at the exact same spot or he marched in his boot camp Company, C013. Our first child was born in the VA hospital on the other side of Baldwin like. We spent many lunches at a picnic table thinking about our future. In 1999 the U.S. Navy turned over all of the property that was a former navy base to the city of Orlando. It is amazing to see how they turned this former Navy base into a beautiful community park and neighborhood.

This park is always great. We go here for races or events and it's always nice, clean and safe. Has a ton of equipment for kids to play on, the pictures here are of the smile mile that we attended.

A lot of open fields, decent amount of parking and plenty of shade trees and beautiful homes that line this park, absolutely a treasure.

Massive with gorgeous neo classical architecture around in the bathrooms and bridges, and a huge central fountain that is very clean. Lovely place, no ghettos or other undesirables lurked about, just a nice clean wonderful park.

Huge park with tons of space to walk around, get some exercise work in.
They have basketball courts, tennis courts, and really nice baseball fields. They also have a workout station where you can do push-ups, pull ups, dips, etc.
playground for small kids, and I’m pretty sure I saw a track that can be biked, and walked on as well.
Park is in nice for picnics, or just overall outdoor activity.
Love bringing my family here to hang out and catch some sun.

A great place to spend a day, enjoying the park, exploring it with friends, family, or even pets.

It is a gorgeous area, with paved paths to stroll down, leading into Lake Baldwin, and around the Lake into a near by Market Plaza.

Events can be held there on weekends, Overall an 11 out of 10 outdoor experience to take a minute to enjoy moments at.

A beautiful, safe, pet friendly, sprawling park nestled in a huge sports field next to the Baldwin Park residential community. The perfect wedding and event location, featuring a mammoth water fountain; creating a dramatic backdrop for photos. Clean, well maintained restrooms. Covered pavillions with BBQ grills. Sports complex also. Lots of parking. New, outside, workout area just installed... with cushioned ground mat to minimize joint impact.

Nice calm park. Super walkable and spacious. Many benches and seating areas. Has car chargers for EV’S in the parking lot. Nice place.

Hubby completed boot camp here in the 70's. We like to enjoy the area as he does some serious reminiscing. Plenty of areas to walk, relax, play and commune with nature.

I love Blue jacket park! It’s great for a run or walk with your dog. There are basketball courts, baseball fields, volleyball fields, and so many fields for open space. It’s a beautiful park and great for picnics!

Graduated boot camp there in 1991. Surreal historical place that's a must visit for all. Spacious, walking trail, monument and play ground for the kids. A must visit.

Beautiful park. LOVE that I am able to get my walk and a quick work out in during my son's football lessons.

Graduated basic training from here in 1989. Sad the base is gone, but they've done a great job with the memorial and grounds.

Beautiful clean and dog friendly! Soccer tracks and a field to do many interests
