My experience with the Jupiter Police was very professional and compassionate. Having had many run-ins with the police as a teenager and young adult I can tell you that your attitude plays a huge part in your experience. Most of the time people like to play the victim when in fact they were breaking the law and or not cooperating with officers. If you don't feel like something is constitutional or you think that your being treated unfairly, there is an adult way to express those concerns.

They were very nice, they helped me find my son Paul that was lost. He has autism and they were very considerate of him when he was yelling because he lost his moose toy. My wife Enza Denino was really worried and they calmed her down too. Thank you Jupiter Police, I'll send my boys to come thank you.

Jupiter U has a really great tour of the Police Dept where you get to meet the K9 units and see some of the equipment the dept uses. Great time!

Their beach patrol found my wife's iPhone and saved us a lot of grief and heartache.
Thanks!

A police officer pulled me over for riding my bike on the sidewalk when there were no pedestrians around. Although they agreed it’s probably safer for me to ride on the sidewalk, the officer said I had to ride on the road. They then asked for my driver’s license to see if there were any warrants for my arrest. Later I looked up Florida laws for cyclists and found that it is perfectly legal for cyclists to ride on sidewalks. The cop had lied to me about laws for cyclists and used it as an excuse to harass me and look up my information for warrants. They claimed they were concerned for my safety which is completely false. 0/10

I spent 30 years in Jupiter and I have witnessed too many officers abusing their power and discriminating against hispanics and minorities. Jupiter is not just for the wealthy anglo saxons! The entire department should be investigated by internal affairs. Enough is enough!

The Jupiter Police Department has been poorly taking care of parking issues in Abaoca Town Center for Abacoa employees. Businesses operate here year round with no parking issues until March and baseball season starting at Roger Dean Stadium. Now many employees have received parking tickets when they have no where to park. There is no designated parking for employees and everything is 3 hour parking only. How does this work when people are at work for 8 hours a day? When the Police Department was contacted many times on this issue they never responded. This isn't an employee problem but rather a Town of Jupiter problem, yet the employees, the people who work and pay taxes to the Town of Jupiter, are the ones paying.

both the police department and the major get very low marks, for "looking the other way" for an unscrupulous lawyer in Jupiter operating a phony law office that does not comply with the most basic Florida Bar Association requirements for a law office, and for mis-using the attorney trust account. Pretty serious things to look the other way on. Of course, since a senior citizen was the victim, both the police and the mayor "took the liberty" to look the other way and protect the shady local lawyer.

Today was the Jupiter parade... I was leaving church at Jupiter high trying to get home (i live across the street like straight shot from parking lot to entrance of my house) I’m 7 months pregnant and needed to get home. I hadn’t eaten breakfast, was NOT feeling the best. The parade was no where near the high school yet and i had just watched them let someone else into my neighborhood. The 2 that we’re blocking my road entrance (a larger female and large motorcycle cop) wouldn’t let me through after i explained i lived there and was pregnant. BOTH SCREAMED at me very aggressively and told me they didn’t care to turn around. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and what if something were medically wrong with me? It would have been their issue and on their watch. I’m always on the police forces side but these 2 need have power issues and need to be reviewed.
