To say that I’m a regular would be putting it mildly, BUT … I’m a regular because EVERYTHING about Kudzu is First-Rate!! The food is OUT OF THIS WORLD DELICIOUS, the service is the best in town, and the attitude is as pleasant as pleasant can be!! They use their own recipes, and take great pride and care in how they prepare EACH meal, and in the quality of the ingredients. There are NO shortcuts!! I’ve eaten at seafood places all over the world, and NOT ONE is better than our own Kudzu!!

One of our favorite restaurants in Macon, GA. Featuring Southern seafood and standard staples like fried okra, gumbo, fish, fire cracker shrimp and more! My favorite is the trifecta of oysters which features three different styles. Excellent fried seafood as well. Everything is made with perfection and the service is great! Awesome beer specials and live music upstairs. I tried the Sweetwater half gummy draft IPA. Highly recommend this place if you're traveling thru or just looking for a night out.

The Mahi was absolutely delicious! The mango salsa complemented it so well. Service is excellent and the bartender was very personable. I will be back to enjoy the rooftop on the weekends.

Went here for the first time, and the food was very good, our server Mikayla was very nice. I had the Firecracker Shrimp platter with two sides...fries and Jam Pups (jambalaya hushpuppies). Food came out hot and fresh. The atmosphere is welcoming, casual dining. I will be going back again.

I have eaten Kudzu seafood for decades now and they’ve been consistently delicious and well-prepared. Service was great and food arrived in a timely manner. Our waitstaff was also attentive, friendly and helpful. Would eat here again & again.

Great Restaurant! My grilled snapper was just right. The creamy spinach and rice we're on point as well. We had the crab claws for appetizer highly suggest. Worth the price! Enjoy! 🦐🍤🐟🍷😁

Not only was the food fantastic it was the Customer Service for me!
We thought Kellie was one of the Servers because she and a nice young man waited our table. It wasn't until we tried to tip her that we found out she and her husband are the OWNERS! She was so friendly and attentive.
We had the Shrimp & Grits and the Fried Seafood Platter. Both were very delicious and generous portions. We had food enough for two meals lol.
Highly recommend!

All these reviewers got it right, this is a GREAT Cajun and seafood restaurant in little ole’ landlocked Macon, GA!

Came in with a party of seven on a Thursday night about 7 o’clock and there was no wait. We were able to get right in and get our food. Service was fast and friendly. Our server, Mikayla, was AWESOME! Knowledgeable about the menu, welcoming and efficient, she couldn’t have been more charming.

There were so many things I wanted to try on the menu! It was great that I came with a group of friends because then I got to sample lots of things!

We got a bunch of appetizers including the jam pups – jambalaya hush puppies, the jezebel sausage and fried pickle planks. The jam pups were good, but my favorite of those three was absolutely the jezebel sausage bites - alligator and pork sausage served with a sweet and spicy “jezebel” sauce to dip them in and some crackers for crunch!

By the time our entrees came, I was so impressed with what I was eating, I completely forgot to take pictures.

My friend and I ordered different things and promised to share so that we could split our meals and sample more of the menu! I got the red snapper royale, a large plank of tender white fish smothered in a gently spicy shrimp and Tasso cream sauce. The creamy, smoky Tasso ham sauce was a perfect compliment to the shrimp and snapper. I had cheese grits and gumbo on the side and they were so good too.

My friend ordered the LGC, a lobster grilled cheese. She got a giant sandwich with perfectly crunchy bread filled with succulent lobster and creamy, tangy cheese plus diced tomato and green onion. The LGC made my taste buds explode in happiness. It doesn’t get any better than this, folks. The LGC is crave-ably delicious.

Desserts were lemon ice box cake, with a meringue your grandma would fawn over, a giant slab of chocolate cake, not too sweet with multiple layers of cake and frosting and my favorite, their “cheesecake of the moment” was shockingly good.

Can’t forget drinks! They have a great selection of local beers and hard cider and a creative, coastal-themed cocktail menu. My “Orange Beach,”with Captain Morgan’s, Malibu, pineapple, almond milk and grenadine was dangerously smooth and sweet.

This was one of those restaurant experiences that makes you sad you don’t live closer. I’ll definitely be coming back when my travels take me to Macon again.

Great local seafood restaurant. More than enough choices to satisfy your tastes. Had the Trifecta baked oysters, Jam pups (jambalaya hush puppies), scallops, gumbo and a jambalaya dinner. Everything was excellent....will definitely be back next time through. Had a chance to talk with Lee the owner and Macon is lucky to have a locally owned restaurant that cares about bringing good food and a good time to the area. Thanks again, Lee we loved our meals.

stopped in for a nice working lunch a few days ago and i was really impressed! not only were there lots of seafood options (of course), there were also options for those who may not be keen on seafood as well. i decided to go for the fried shrimp platter and got the shrimp tossed in buffalo sauce, and it tasted great! it came with seasoned fries which were very nice as well. the server was very friendly and helpful with recommendations too. we thoroughly enjoyed our meal here and will definitely be back.

The place was great.... Nice and cozy atmosphere, services were fast, and food was exquisite... I'm so full, I need to take a nap... Please try. I think u will love it....

Awesome experience at Kudzu Seafood this evening! The food was delicious - I had a Caesar Salad and Gumbo and my date ordered Jambalaya! I highly recommend this restaurant!

This is a great place to have lunch or dinner. The atmosphere was wonderful. Plenty of room, a nice variety of meals on the menu. The customer service was great and the prices were pretty good. They do not offer military discount but still a good place to vibe and chill while having a good tasting seafood meal.

Yummy goodness! The crab claws were delicious! The grouper is so flaky and fabulous! The cheese grits were just as good! My n/f enjoyed the tacos! The owner was super friendly as was our server. Highly recommend and an so rear for then to get relocated!

I sat at the bar for a quick bite for dinner. I had fried oysters and fried grouper fingers. The oysters were a good size and of good quality. I talked to the owner and we had a great conversation about food, restaurants and travel. I'm not in Macon often, but I highly recommend Kudzu Seafood Company.

My son suggested this place. He lives in south georgia. We live in metro atlanta. Stephanie was our server. She was on top of her game from start to finish. The food was great. Atmosphere is pleasant even when sitting in the middle of the room. Food came out quickly for ALL 7 people at our table. Everybody got something different and NO ONE was disappointed. Definitely going back.

Passing through town and had to stop in to one of our favorite places in middle GA. Jam-Pups to start we’re fantastic as usual. Make sure you extra remoulade sauce, cause it’s so good! I got Captain Lee’s combo basket with fried shrimp and fried grouper. Get some buffalo sauce on the side. (Great flavor). My son got a Fried Shrimp Po-Boy. He said it was delightful. Great service scrumptious- yes I said scrumptious food! The shrimp was big and juicy and tasted fresh- the salads were perfect. Soup was the perfect balance of broth and lobster pieces.-no slack. The jambalaya hushpuppies are an acquired taste - but live a little try something new. It was 50/50 at my table of likes- but guys the place was great i can not wait to return.i really appreciate seeing all of the staff pitching in and helping -No complaints- went about 630 on a Thursday- making your parking a little easier use the parking passport app the meters are a pain - and go enjoy this wonderful treat that Macon has to offer.
