Cucinella's Brick Oven Pizzeria

I am from up North and have tried so many pizza places and finally found the one that I love after two years! The garlic knots were amazing too, but ate them so fast lol we didn’t take pic. The Pizza was cooked to perfection, and the crust was on point. Every bite was flavorful and delicious! This is the best lasagna I’ve ever had in my whole life. Wow! I highly recommend this place. The staff is very welcoming and my husband Chris likes going in there to have long conversations to speak to the owner Francesco and learn about the history of his cooking!

This pizza absolutely blew me away. The crust is thin, but supports a healthy amount of sauce and toppings, while still offering a satisfying crunch to each bite. I could taste the quality of the ingredients. Everything about each slice is exactly what someone would want in a piece of pie. It holds well, it can be folded, and they give complementary balsamic vinegar for the crust (although it’s so good, it doesn’t need it). It’s hard to find pizza of this quality in Florida. My only regret is not tipping more.

My review: I read the “best pizza” comments in previous posts on our community FB page. Naturally I had to give this place a try, because like a lot of you, I’m a lover of good pizza. 🍕 1st attempt last week it was a 2.5 hour wait time….🤯 That would have made it way too late to eat. Next attempt they were closed. Tuesday was the day!! I was ready to order for my family. We wanted to try a few different things to get a feel. I opted for pick up and drove right over. Let me just say it did NOT disappoint!! From the kindness of the owner and staff, to the quality and taste of the food, and finally the prices are fantastic! We are now fans of Cucinella’s! Thank you Francesco Agueci!!

If you haven’t tried it, you should! Please be patient as he works hard in preparing the best food for you, so there may be a long wait during their more popular times. Good things take time. Prepare accordingly. la migliore pizza della zona!!

🍕🍕🍕 — at Cucinella's Brick Oven Pizzeria Oviedo Florida.

The other day my family and I ate outside of Cucinella’s Brick Oven Pizzeria in Oviedo. We had a half pepperoni half cheese pizza! This pizza was crunchy but gooey with a nice small flop! The flavor of the sauce was outstanding!!! We got the meatballs and a little bread the kids devoured them! My wife got a small Greek salad and said the salad and veggies were fresh and crispy! (we substituted the feta cheese for mozzarella) The owner Francesco is amazing and kept checking on us as well as the other staff to make sure we didn’t need anything and if everything was good. This place is GREAT!!!

Have eaten here twice now. Both times, not only was the pizza a work of art, but perhaps THE best pizza I have ever eaten!! In addition, Francesco and his lovely wife were a joy to talk to. Energetic, down-to-earth, and both shared our passion for food. Even though I live far from Oviedo, the hour-plus trip is worth it to enjoy their company and an amazing pizza. (Can't wait to eat my leftover pizza for breakfast!)

My husband brought us pizza from here yesterday. Husband said the owner is really nice and down to earth. We are new to town and this pizza is the best I have tasted. This is for sure our pizza place to go too. Crust is crunchy as it should be. Taste is great! We had the Bianca, pepperoni pizza and garlic knots.

Ordered a 12" Stromboli to-go, and it was delicious! Great portion size for the price. I couldn't imagine ordering the even bigger one. The employees were friendly as well.

It was great pizza. I got Supreme- a lot of meat, veggies, thin crust. High quality pizza. Recommend. Very nice employees, want to come back and try other pizzas.

If you love good pizza, this is the place to go!! We tried the margherita pizza w olive oil & garlic base sauce as well as the meat lovers with pepperoni, sausage, bacon, and ham. It smelled so delicious that we couldn’t wait to eat it when we got home. Order a pizza and grab a spot by the lake to relax and enjoy. You won’t regret it. The ingredients are truly fresh and flavorful. We’ll be coming back for years to come!

The pizza here is so good! We always get the meat lovers as you can choose what you put on it. It’s a pretty busy spot so the wait can be long sometimes but the food always comes out great so it’s definitely worth it.

Great atmosphere. Owner greeted me and helped me out with my order and employees were helpful and respectful. Owner takes pride in his business and it really shows. Pesto flatbread was amazing as well. Luis is the best!!

We ordered 2 large pizzas and the family wanted the garlic knots. OMG, they were delicious. Remember to call ahead since they get very busy! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Pizza is amazing. The crust is crunchy and chewy. Cheese is cooked perfectly and then suave is so on point. We are from NJ/PA and have had a lot of great pizza. This is up there with those shops. The chicken bacon each was so good. We’ve been looking for a lace that does a good CBR pie for a long time now. The plain pie was the best we’ve had since coming to FL. We won’t buy pizza from anywhere else now.

Staff is very nice and they told us /5 mins for pickup. 25 mins later we arrived to find them cutting our pies fresh out of the oven. They smelled so good and just made us hungrier as we drove home.

I’ve had great pizza and I’ve had terrible pizza but this is so good it reminds me of NY/NJ pizza. We’ll be back again.

Excellent local pizza, parking space limited in front of the business but lots of free parking across the street. Quick service, friendly people, will definitely order again.

This place is AWESOME. Best pizza I've had in Florida hands down, so authentically Italian/new York. The homemade tomato sauce, that signature woodfire crispy bottom with lovely soft crust, perfect cheese to sauce ratio, and big pizzas for a great price. Went with my boyfriend for lunch, went back with my family for dinner, and plan to make this locally owned treat a weekly staple in my home after this.
Let me plan out a perfect dinner for you: you drive here, order your pizza, walk around the newly build natural boardwalk and lake across the road while its cooks, then sit outside and watch the sunset in the fall air while you eat a hot perfect slice with your family.

It is a very simple and small family owned business, but the amazing flavor in their dishes is huge. A must try.

Our family chooses Cucinella’s for dinner several times a month. It’s such a favorite, that after a recent surgery, my son woke up from anesthesia and was insistent on getting Cicinella’s for his get well dinner. We’ve tried many different menu items and have never been disappointed.

OMG! The service was outstanding. They called to tell me it could be ready earlier. Pulled up and smelled the delicious scent of garlic wafting in the tiny pick up area! The entire car ride home all I could say was I couldn't wait to get home to try it because it smelled so good. Got home opened the boxes and stuffed our faces with the freshest, tastiest, most delicious pizza! The whole time and dinner we said - this is so good, this is the bomb. Even my PICKIEST 2 year old ate 3 slices! We will definitely be customers from here on out!
