J3 BBQ & Homemade Ice Cream

If you are craving BBQ. This is the place. I had the Q Dog. All beef dog smothered in BBQ. Awesome. Cole slaw was wonderful. The homemade ice cream so good. Go for a drive and have a bite.

Amazing service very friendly people in general staff and customers alike nice environment sometimes they have someone performing inside patriotic BBQ personally in recommend the pulled pork tacos and put a generous portion on sweet sauce on there owners a nice guy from what I know he helps out around and you can see him being helpful to everybody customers and his staff by far the best restaurant in town whether you stop by for ice cream or cheesecake or eat in your gonna have a nice experience overall

Had my mother's birthday party here, the staff went above and beyond for our party. Extremely friendly, made sure everyone was taken care of. The owner himself came in to speak to my mother and cut the cake for us, also the best bbq I've ever had. The ribs are so tender you can slide the bone out like a hot knife through butter. Amazing sides, everyone had the same thing to say .."best food ever"

Wow! This is the first review I have ever done. I own 2 BBQ resturants in Nebraska and this was
amazing! The staff very friendly. Had pork, ribs, fries and the 12 layer cake. All four wete outstanding. Cant wait to go nack on Friday for the steak. Which is a smoked prime rib slice and grilled from what I understand.

The brisket was wonderful walked out with the great Brunswick stew all sides were great baked beans ,coselaw ,pasta , owner was great . He also caters so come and try we drove an hr to try this wonderful BBQ!!

Husband & I traveled hours out of our way to eat here Cole slaw like granny use to make the best chicken the flavor was kick butt & the atmosphere was great got to have conversation with owner Kirk very nice man.

This place is amazing, I have been here twice now and I do not understand how this place has any negative reviews.

The staff has impeccable service and the food was amazing. I got the Rib eye steak and it was delicious.

I highly recommend this restaurant and anyone who doesn't is lying.

Love this place. Not only is the food delicious the atmosphere is great. Christian owners/employees that say the pledge of allegiance and prayer everyday! I highly recommend.

We went to J3 BBQ Homemade Ice cream restaurant for the first time last Saturday evening. Hands down the best DECISION WE'VE EVER MADE! It was delicious! My husband and I shared the Sampler Plate 3 meats. We also ordered their fries and BBQ beans. The BBQ beans is a meal by it's self. The meat we picked chicken, ribs and pulled pork. Had a lot left over. We took it all home. We will definitely be back to try ideas on the menu

J3 is easily the best restaurant in Bainbridge and even surrounding counties! The owner and his staff don’t hesitate to go above and beyond for every customer who enters the door. They do so much so that each person doesn’t feel like another “customer” but more of a family which is what southern hospitality is all about! Aside of the customer service the food is to die for! And the homemade ice cream is the perfect sweet treat!

Amazing barbecue! This place came highly recommend by the locals and it didn’t disappoint. That staff are the sweetest, with excellent customer service. The place is very clean. The ‘que is amazing and the desserts so delicious! The only downfall is the limited hours but it’s worth it to rearrange your schedule to eat at the place while in Bainbridge.

Probably the best pulled pork sandwich I have ever had. The staff were very friendly and caring. Best BBQ sauces I ever tasted in the spicy, normal, and sweet varieties. The homemade potato salad was made to perfection too. Family owned and the only J3 there is. I told the owners that Guy Ferreari(?) of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives tv show needs to put this place on his show. At least for the pulled pork sandwich I had. It was legendary.

1st time customer, fresh faced Emily greeted us with a smile and patience! She explained the menu and was very apologetic about the items they ran out of ( which is a good sign to me, if they run out, people are eating it!) The portions were worth the price and tasted great! The pulled pork and brisket were delicious and the chicken salad was worth the ask too!!! Homemade potato salad...cant go wrong!!! The establishment was clean and inviting and the owner made himself comfortable with the clientele actively asking questions and interacting. We will be returning.

Service was quick and very friendly. The entire restaurant gives a great home and patriotic feeling. Food was great with the best fries I've had topped by some of the best banana pudding flavored ice cream. Definitely coming back soon!

My wife and I visited J3 today for the first time and it was AMAZING! We both had pulled pork, hers was naked and mine was a sandwich. The meat was perfect, tasted so darn good! Our sides included Brunswick stew which my wife raved about, the BBQ beans and fries were also delicious! Friendly, polite staff, clean inside and great atmosphere to enjoy their delicious BBQ. We will be back for sure, soon!

Had the GSC burger, loved it. Pasta salad looked weird, like it was just pasta and a touch of dressing, but it was good, the dressing to me was garnish. The ice cream was also delicious. I like that there is a catering menu on the table.

Blueberry is my new favorite ice cream flavor - creamy with real blueberries, and just the right amount of sweet.

I had the 2 Meat Platter:
- Great cole slaw!
- Tender, savory beef brisket.
- Generous serving of pulled pork BBQ.
- Fresh slice of white bread.

Welcoming and comfortable place. I was in Bainbridge for a half a day, with some time on my hands. The staff did not rush me out - they were hospitable and friendly. The location was steadily busy, with take-out orders and sit-down service.

Self-service drink station. Decent unsweetened tea (not AS strong as I like, but with less ice it did the trick).

At just after 5PM, a gentleman went up to strum and pick on an acoustic guitar for a little bit. That was nice.
