The Carriage House Restaurant

This is my favorite childhood restaurant. Apparently, they still make the tiny breakfast biscuits, but the lady who makes them was out sick.

I had the chicken and waffles. Mind you, it was hot wings and waffles, a combination I never even thought was possible. And it was amazing! Just the right amount of heat combined with sweetness. I plan to return for the Sunday brunch buffet. Love this place.

This is just the most quintessential Southern dining experience imaginable!
The atmosphere is lovely: it feels like you’ve stepped back into the glamor of the 1950’s.
It’s hard to find a dining experience that feels special, but this place fits the bill!
The chef greeted us personally and welcomed us not only to his establishment, but to the city. He gave suggestions on what we had to do and see while there.
I enjoyed the oysters, and they were divine! My friend got the chicken livers (fried) and my other friend the tomato aspic (how wonderfully vintage) and fried chicken. All of it was just utterly delicious!
For us, this is a must see/eat destination when in Natchez!

What a wonderful experience. Every part was top-notch, great food, great service, and you can't beat the atmosphere. This place comes highly recommended and is one of our best memories on our vacation.

The service these young waiters showed me was impeccable!! Kind and knowledgeable!! I wish I could say the same for the food and drink. Meal was served Luke warm at best!! Chicken was so dry that I had to drink water with it to swallow!! Bloody Mary was not seasoned at all!! Not the carriage house from 15 yrs ago!!!

The carriage house has become one of my favorite restaurants in Natchez. Delicious food, impeccable service and delightful atmosphere. Hats off to the Continental Cook and Carriage House.

I was in natchaz over the weekend for fall pilgrimage (my first time❤The❤❤) The Carriage house was recommended to me by a friend and just had to give it a try and i was so happy and pleased i did ❤❤❤

I ordered the in house burger and WOW.. thick, juicy and amazing the right amount of drippings down the arm lol 😅😅😅

The salad was served on a COLD PLATE... Thank you very much... Nothing puts a damper on a dining experience like eating salad on a hot/warm or room temperature plate.. so thank you carriage house for paying attention to that detail

( forgive me for not remembering your name) to make sure we were pleased with our food... It's not everyday or everywhere you get that type of service... So thank you

All in all my Natchaz Mississippi experience was an amazing one and the carriage house restaurant made it even better

Food was amazing! Best staff in all of Natchez!

Love the lunch ! Tomato aspic, tiny biscuits & mayhaw jelly, fried green tomato appetizer w seafood. Known for fried chicken but I usually opt for fish. Nice atmosphere behind Stanton Hall one of the old homes , open for tours. I like browsing the gift shop for heirloom sterling silver pieces. Lots of Garden Club , Pilgrimage history here.

Best brunch in Natchez! This is actually one of the best brunches I’ve had anywhere! Great variety of breakfast and lunch foods! Tasty mimosas and a nice atmosphere. Wonderful staff. I love the pictures and history that has been preserved there. This is another must-try spot in Natchez. A true “hidden” gem!

Stopped by on a Monday and were seated right away. Wait staff were extremely attentive and friendly. Ordered salad similar to a Cobb salad with their "comeback" dressing with fried chicken. Soooo good! Dressing was delicious. Chicken was outstanding. No complaints at all other than I ran out of room and couldn't finish my meal. The biscuits that are served at each table were fantastic, too. Yum!

We were there for Sunday brunch and the food was fabulous. Large selection of quality, home style dishes. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and the location in downtown Natchez is very easy to get to. The only negative is that it was quite loud inside the dining room, but that was because it was packed full of people enjoying all the delicious food!

Best fried chicken in Louisiana. They have excellent staff, great menu, awesome little biscuits, great desserts and a beautiful venue. If in Natchez, Ms need to stop there for lunch. Reservations may be required.

This is a surprisingly great place. At first it seemed quiet but the staff was very welcoming - it was full by the time we left. Our server, Dallas was outstanding. The food was wonderful, well seasoned - we all know how important that is in the South. PIMENTO CHEESE, order it!

On a Saturday there was no wait. Fried chicken was spectacular. Tender, seasoned, crispy, but not greasy. The Bingo burger was quite good as well. Service was quick and friendly.

Had our parents 50th Wedding Anniversary at the Carriage House Restaurant at Stanton Hall in Natchez, Mississippi. Could not have been finer. Food was excellent, staff courteous and a great place to have a party within an antebellum mansion setting. Elegant and timeless !

I had the fried chicken.. absolutely fantastic. The little baby biscuits to start were great. The side of mashed potatoes and limas were really good

Food was excellent, and cudos to the manager and service workers. Food was served to 70 + efficiently, all warm, and with smiles and plesantry. I have traveled all over the world and this is the best service I've ever experienced. Brava to all who work at Carriage House at Stanton Hall. Look forward to eating there and visiting again.

One of the best meals I have ever had. We couldn't have had better service. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous. Although we didn't tour the home, that will be our next visit.

A must see place, absolutely breathtaking property!! My husband and I ate breakfast here and enjoyed the food so much! Not one complaint at all!!! The service was fantastic, walk around and enjoy your view!

It was great to return to The Carriage House, even with a different menu. The Buffet was great & the staff was amazing & attentive! Such a treat!
