Nola Restaurant

Very good restaurant in Indianola! I was glad I stopped in for dinner here. Neat atmosphere with exposed brick walls and posters from old movies like Casablanca and Indiana Jones. I got the shrimp boil and the duck wings and both were very good. The duck wings especially were well seasoned and better than chicken wings in my opinion! This place is more expensive than other places in town, but the food is much higher caliber than the other places.

Always cold drinks and specialty nightly drinks that taste amazing.

exceptional restaurant!!! an ideal conjunction between food. the atmosphere and the staff. If you're in a hurry and you don't mind eating fast or pre-cooked food? go to mac donalds or some mexican restaurant. If you are willing to wait the necessary time for them to prepare your plate with fresh and top quality food, you should come to Nola!! I assure you that it is worth the wait, your stomach and your palate will thank you!! The atmosphere is very warm and familiar, being able to enjoy a good moment to relax and talk. The employees are simply charming, they will always attend you with a smile and are very attentive to satisfy your requests. The place has a very complete bar and a very experienced bartender who will know how to delight you with his drinks. And to crown the lack of one? It has 2 chefs with magical hands and great knowledge of gourmet food. All their dishes are exquisite and if you want to go crazy, be sure to try Chris's steak or Trace's tiramisu!! If you are passing through or have come to visit the BB King museum, the Nola restaurant is another great attraction in Indianola and you cannot leave without stopping by and enjoying its excellent food and service.

I ordered takeout from there yesterday. The food was amazing that’s why I’m leaving a review. The fried okra was nothing like I’ve ever tasted. I also had the chicken Alfredo it was amazing. This place is definitely a 5 star place. I didn’t sit in but the atmosphere looked peaceful and everyone was nice. I like it . I highly recommend it

First visit here and the food was awful. The caesar salad tasted like fish, the bartender could not make a decent old fashioned, my 10 oz filet was $44 which would have been fine if it wasn't cooked incorrectly twice. The only reason for this five star review was the service. Our server Pepper was amazing, attentive and very fun. I'll go back just because the service was so good but the food is over priced and needs some work.

Absolutely amazing food and atmosphere

Delicious food. Great service, and a lovely atmosphere. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Anything with Lafitte sauce is rich and delicious. The pork chop takes 40mins because it is huge. However, it is well worth the wait if you have the time.

The food was awesome and the atmosphere was great my family and I really enjoyed our visit here will go back.

Oh this was a very nice & cheerful & happy family like setting. The cook /owner even comes out to greet you. The ppl taking our order & bring it out was a great lady. They ran to your table 2 take the best care of us.

This place is by far one of the best places I have ever visited. The atmosphere is great but basic and the staff (Hector the bartender) is very informative and great for an out of towner. The food is great and cooked perfect (gumbo made by Chris is almost perfect). Plus the other patrons make it great too..... The only downside is the small portion entrees with only one side for the price. Add an extra side and it would be just right. Maybe add a rice based side. But all together a great place.

Excellent place to eat. The owner and staff are always professional and go over what is expected to make your meal enjoyably. The food is top notch and by far the best around this part of the state. Enjoy going here everytime I visit.

This was our first time there and the food was delicious. The waitress was very attentive. The atmosphere was casual like we like. Definitely will be returning. Everyone was very friendly.

I've never had a bad experience here. The food is unreal! I love the tuna tar tar. There are nightly specials. Chris Grant is an excellent chef!

The food, the service, was beyond my expectations! I took my wife on our date night and everything was amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone and my wife and I have found our date night restaurant!!

It's a great place to stop if you live in, or are going through the Delta. The food here is consistently good. Make sure you check out the specials when you arrive. My favorite is the oyster po'boy. I also really enjoy the Lafitte pasta - your choice of chicken, or seafood with a crawfish cream sauce.

Food tastes authentic, well seasoned, and it is reasonably priced. I had pecan cobbler for dessert. I've heard of pecan pie but never pecan cobbler. I must say it was very delicious.

I know you bought the name NOLA with the business, but it now is synonymous solely with Chris Grant! Every experience one can have in your establishment exudes your dedication to excellence in the quality of your food and in your love of service and of people! One can usually guess the temperament and work ethic of the chef by the staff. NOLA is certainly no exception!! I am so thankful God planted you in Indianola!
