White Grill

Service was wonderful! Staff were social during the slower times we were there. We had a wonderful conversation about the town name’s history while the burgers were being made.

I had the bacon cheeseburger and tater tots. Man was the burger good. So greasy but so tasty. Tater tots were wonderful and crispy.

From out of town, but I would stop again on a roadtrip.

What a fantastic place to stop for a quick bite in Nevada! Small, quaint, warm and friendly atmosphere draw you in as you enter. We were greeted right away and told to sit wherever we liked. The menu is all about the sandwiches that were AMAZING for the price paid. We ordered the whistle burger, double cheese burger, cheeseburger, hamburger, cup of chili, onion rings, fries and Suzy q's (onion rings). Important to note that they have homemade and pre-made onion rings, we were lucky enough to get the homemade and were not disappointed! We all loved our burgers. The taste was perfect, the grilled onions a nice touch, and the "smashed" effect gave a amazing texture to the patty that left you wanting another bite! The staff was super friendly and was very patient with us as we ordered our food. They made a few suggestions that proved they knew thier food. Thank you for an amazing quick bite for an amazing price!

Called in an order because it was convenient. This place needs 10 🌟. Service was great, food was better. Had a double whistle burger and onion rings. Will definitely be back with the family. Kudos guys, this place is superb!

This place is legendary! Food is phenomenal ! Doesn't matter what you order its gonna be great! The atmosphere is very nostalgic. The food came fast the service was friendly. If you haven't been here then you owe it to yourself to try it! The place is A little small so slightly off peak hours work best for guaranteeing a place to sit!

Great little burger place and rarely do you get the opportunity to eat at a burger joint established in 1938. The restaurant is quite small but it adds to the experience. The portions are very large so I would recommend sharing a side of fries. The burgers were great, definitely worth a visit.

This is one of my favorite places to eat, the staff is always friendly and the food is quick and so delicious. We quickly became regulars here. Love it

I got a Cheeseburger and Suzie-q’s and they were delicious, although the Suzie-q’s were unsalted so that was a small bit annoying but not a big issue.
I can not stress enough on how much you should try the white grill!

Food is just like the old hamburger joint back in the 70's, including the Suzie Q's! Most of the servers are great. It's very clean and has an old time atmosphere.

Great place. Excellent service, great value. My husband had The Mess for breakfast and loved it. If you are traveling I54 through MO and looking for a great place to eat, stop in and see these guys. You won't be disappointed.

The bacon cheeseburger and onion rings were amazing! And very large portions! The restaurant us a bit small and it was packed! The waitress got to us quickly and we got our food fast! Prices were reasonable! The waitress did an amazing job taking care of our large group! If we make it back to the area, we will be back!

Worth the 100 mile round trip from Fair Play, MO to Nevada, MO! Best burger and you cannot beat the hand cut Susie's! Wife and I will definitely be back! Probably tomorrow 🤣

Went in ordered a double bacon cheeseburger after hearing about this place. The reviews that say this place is good. Does not give them enough recognition that was by far the best well done burger I have had in any place of business out of 50 states. Service was great as well.

Best old fashioned burger and Suzie Q's in Vernon County, Missouri! I stop here every chance I get to travel to Kansas City via Joplin, MO.

White Grill is a great little diner! The food was terrific, and the price was fair. Also, they serve breakfast all day! (except gravy)

First time customer and The White Grill did not disappoint! The food was terrific and very reasonably priced. The atmosphere is super fun. Love the old-time counter. Staff was great too.

What an absolutely great find. Been up and down I-49 (71 Highway) for 40 years and never had even heard of this place. It’s just a small greasy spoon diner but oh so good! Much like a Town Topic if you’re familiar with those from Kansas City.

Driving through Nevada and decided to give this little place a try. We always are encouraged when we stop at a place and the parking lot is full and this place was definitely packed. People were waiting patiently. We waited our turn for a table and were greeted by a sweet waitress. The food was worth the wait! Best burger we've had in a long time! Onion rings... perfect! And enough curly fries to satisfy! Those are tasty too! We will be back next time we are in town!

A true gem found randomly during our road trip. Immediately after leaving the restaurant, I have regretted that the experience is over and that I will unlikely return there since I live on a different continent. Amazing double bacon cheeseburger (a smashed burger, actually), delicious "curly" fries, super-helpful, patient service. And a $1 coffee. In 2022.

I wish White Grill was 8000 miles closer to where I live.
