Great campground with reasonable pricing and fantastic atmosphere. Such a great place to unwind and unplug. The access to the Black River is fantastic and even on the hottest days of summer it's the best place to spend time. Spring fed and refreshing cool. Really low light pollution at night as well. It's nice to spend some time in nature where you can see the Milky Way and swap stories around the campfire but poo in a real toilet.

Easy to locate, clean, maintained. Staff were incredibly helpful as my other campsite fell through late at night. Thanks for the accommodations!

One of the nicest campgrounds in the area, we love going here! Very friendly staff, right on the Black River with plenty of gravel bars. They do float trips & have a stocked office of supplies. Most of the campsites are shaded, quiet time is respected, & they have clean showers & bathrooms.

Just did a one night camping stay and float trip at this place. The campsite my family stayed on appeared clean and well managed. The site was even close to the Black River which kept the kids occupied. I like to give a shout out to the main desk employee named Shannon. She was a delight to speak with. Any question I had, she was more then willing to answer with a smile. Since I did not personally use the shower or bathroom facilities, I cannot give a review on that. I will be returning for another camping trip in the near future.

The staff here we're great! The campground was beautiful and the provided facilities were clean! Camping right next to the river (despite those mosquitos) was a blast! We had a couple of hiccups on getting down the river when we floated, but the staff at parks bluff made sure we got back to our campsite by the end of the day. We even extended our stay down here, to have just one more night at such a wonderful campground! Thanks to all the staff for making our annual adventure a great one!

Beautiful float. Staff knowledgeable and helpful. Plenty of time for water fun. Raft was great for youngsters. Highly recommend this outfitter. Six miles appropriate length for younger children. Nothing more beautiful than Black River.

Great campground they launched canoes and all floats on campsite! River access throughout the campsite, bathrooms are clean and there was hot water! We did run out of hot water the second night, but it was a Saturday and there was a lot of people there! They had a very nice gift shop and there firewood was inside that's a plus! Over all very nice campsite it's calmed down since the 90s, for those that used to go for mudding now the mud pit is a field lol. But your close to the gas station and dollar general that was very nice.

Best family campground, Black River is the best. Fun floats and a lot of swimming. Owners are awesome. Rafts, canoes, kayaks, and tubes to rent. Many shaded tent sights, some have electric.RV and trailer hook ups. Bathrooms and showers are decent.

We come here every year to decompress from our very hectic schedules. The kids love jumping off the rocks and everyone is so friendly and polite. This is one of my favorite spots to go to. Sitting underneath the stars with no light is just breathtaking

Took my kids on a float today. I ended up getting in a little jam around their beach. We had to cut the trip short. Even though we were not floating through them or camping with them they still helped me out and was so wonderful. Great people.

Can't rate the camping as we just met family who were camping there and did a float trip. The float trip was great. The bus ride back was more like a roller coaster ride though as the lady driving the bus was going a bit too fast.

It was really fun staying here. I would recommend. During the week, it's very peaceful with no one around, and the river is very open. Clear water, friendly people. It actually makes me like the country! And it's close to a lot of great attractions.

We love staying here. The primitive area is always clean and shaded, it is right along the river. The bathrooms are clean, nice and hot water. They are small showers but have never had any problems.

Amazing campground with lots of room. Nice level ground for tents and walking distance to the river And floating. Little more spendy than most places. Also nice and clean bathrooms and showers that are free.
