220 Seafood Restaurant

Hubby & I love this area seafood earthy- a fixture in the community for decades- serving southern seafood- trout flounder popcorn & jumbo shrimp - oysters - & more -this place stays busy to say the least - there’s an enclosed shelter to help waiting lines of people from the elements- also security to assist with free ample parking. I had the 220 trout special- a huge fried trout baked potato and a small fresh salad- served fresh hot - crispy. Hubby had a 2 combo with trout & popcorn shrimp- equally delicious - with slaw & baked potato- Our server “Wendy” was fantastic- courteous friendly & efficient- older vintage fishermen decor- very unique. This is not a fancy place- but a family style restaurant with excellent seafood & service. Take out available. Located quite close to a Interstate I 85 North in Henderson NC- a great place to get fried or broiled seafood with reasonable prices.

I must express how delighted I was dining here at 220 Seafood Restaurant in Henderson, North Carolina on 11-5-21. This restaurant has a cozy and very family and friendly meal service style that makes you feel at home and comfortable.
Every person that works for this establishment will provide you with top shelf customer service, the hostess, the cashier, the busser, the servers.
It was a pleasure to be treated with such friendly and quality care the entire time of my visit. The food is very fresh, and tasty. I have had the opportunity to try out several different menu items over many visits. Everything on the menu here is a delight to eat. All of the fish dishes are fresh, buttery and cooked to perfection. I was absolutely blown away with the excellent customer service provided by the waitress Sandra. She was pleasant, friendly, caring, attentive, at ease, and very happy to look out for her customers. Sandra should set up training courses on how to be a top restaurant server.

But I must admit that everyone including all of the waitress here provide top quality customer service. The menu prices are very reasonable and just right for the quality service and great taste of there menu item.

Service was great. The employees were polite, clean, and attentive even though the place seemed to have a consistent flow of people.

I ordered scallops with my meal and they weren't cooked as much as I liked them, so I let the server know. She had some cooked a little more for me. So I am grateful for that. Everything else: shrimp, fish, fries, slaw and drinks were really good.

I do recommend and next time I go I am having a broiled platter. LOL 😆 must be good if I already planned my next order.

Place is well known and has been a staple of the community for years. I remember coming here as a kid on Friday nights! Food is still amazing! Fried shrimp & hush puppies are my favorites! Cole slaw is good too! Highly recommend! Will always think of my Dad and my childhood when I go here!! Great food, great staff!

Food was great. They worked the poor waitress to death and she needed help but did great on her own. She sure earned her tip. Will go back again when I am in town. 30 years ago ran for Mayor there. Food was great then and now 30 years later

Good,great 1st time experience. Service was fast & vgood, food delicious, and server, Nita was wonderful. GREAT. We will be going back soon in that it is only about 45mins away from us. We had heard about 220Seafood and now we have experienced it. Anyone who travels 85 south in NC, VA should make it a point to check it out.

Food here is always hot when I pick up my order. The staff here is very friendly. They are packed and very busy, but they have everything running smoothly. Love it.

Soooo delish! It's always packed and understandably. Seafood is the only thing on the menu, and they do it right! I often find that inland that unless it's fried, seafood isn't up to par but I've gotten the grilled and broiled and it is just as good as at the beach.

The seafood was amazing. The hushpuppies melted in your mouth. Prices was great and you got more food than you could eat. Our waitress was amazing and gave us great service even though she had many tables she was handling. We will definately be back and we give it 5 stars. They were so busy a police officer had to direct the traffic in parking lot.

First time dining here and it will not be my last. The food was hot and freshly prepared. The wait was not long. Plenty of food received for the price paid. Anita provided excellent customer service. Highly recommend this location.

A gem of a restaurant. So affordable friendly and tasty!

At first i was reluctant to go in. Saw a long line going in. Didn't know at the time. Just opened. We went in, we were very satisfied with the food and the price. We WiII be back. 5 stars

Food was awesome,hot and great portion sizes. Very reasonably priced. But the best part was the cashier. She treated us like long lost friends. Thank you for making us feel welcome. Thanks also to the staff member that brought our food out to they car.Loved the meal,but the customer service was exceptional!!!!!

We had a party of 7 on a Thursday evening at about 6 pm. We were seated immediately and our waitress was excellent. The food was delicious as always. Their hush puppies are awesome.
