Bates Floor Covering

Definitely could not be happier with our experience with Bates Floor Covering! Rick was very helpful in finding and explaining carpet/padding with us, even came out the same day to measure our house and give us an accurate quote! We ended up ordering our specific color/design and within 5 days he let us know it arrived and was ready for installation. After only a couple hours of work it absolutely transformed our home into something we love! Top quality work, very knowledgeable, and a great price is impossible to find! Keep up the awesome work!

Had Rick put in new LVT through out the main level of our house. Fantastic job and had him back to do our bathroom floors and the carpet will be next. Excellent work and very meticulous in the work being done. Not sure about the review about trim but we had all the trim installed with no issues.

I highly recommend this wonderful, family-run business. Our home suffered from moderate flood damage this August, including one small room that needed new carpet ASAP. Rick Bates, and his daughter Charlee, were a huge help. While my family and I were somewhat overwhelmed with various aspects of damage control, Rick and Charlee took care of the carpet quickly, professionally, and compassionately. They did a great job in helping to identify, and then provide, exactly what we needed. I love the carpet that they helped me to pick out. They really came through for us during a difficult time and we'll be forever appreciative.

Rick has come out to our house on two separate occasions. He has proven to be friendly, responsive and ethical. Both times the carpet looked and felt great.

Not at all pleased with the workmanship on my kitchen floor from Bates. I purchased a new vinyl floor by Shaw flooring for my kitchen remodel from Bates. I found out after the fact that installing the baseboard around the new floor isn't included. No trim work around cabinets or doors included. Closet door did not swing freely over the new floor, no adjustment made for this. Job poorly done, left to someone else to finish the detail.
Bates sells a good product they just don't seem to have much pride in their workmanship.
