Central Winds Park

Beautiful property to walk the trail and go fishing. Play sports, etc. The playground is not my favorite...NOT LITTLE KID FRIENDLY!!!

I visited for the highland Games, but always want to go back to just enjoy the park. They have multiple fields, a giant kids playground, surrounded by woods & a lake. I saw wildlife but also felt safe from the water's edge. The playground was covered & had a 3 story slide. Parking was horrendous for the highland Games, but on a typical day it might be fine.

Park is beautiful but it is a concern that the kids play ground sits right by one of the trails so close to body of water with tons of gators about 6-8 foot possibly bigger. I counted over 16 alone standing in one spot (gave up the count) these photos & videos was taken right when you walked on that trail that leads straight to the water standing in just one spot looking out. Photos don't do it any justice and of course I was not going to walk anywhere else near there for there was many just lined all the way down. Suggest moving the playground elsewhere there. For me I love seeing gators and was amazed how many was in one area 🐊💚

One of the largest parks I have been to, It has a dog park for both small pups and large dogs, A community Garden, A Boat Dock, a Large and Well shaded public Kids park with many benches. Also has many very well kept Baseball Fields and Soccer Fields. You can definitely get lost in here! My pup and kiddo loved the time here!!

Wow, so many fields! Very high quality baseball and soccer fields. A few bleachers in the shade of trees for soccer fans, but otherwise bring your own tents etc. Beautiful location. Nice lunch food and snack options available at reasonable prices. Nice permanent bathrooms in buildings.

Park is always well maintained. Access to the trail. Doggy Park. There is a small fishing pier that has the nicest view of Lake Jesup. Very relaxing. It would be lovely it they would have a small little place that sold some drinks and appetizers by the fishing pier. It would be nice to sit and have a glass a of wine.

Great sprawling community park located adjacent to the local high school and along the bike pedestrian trail. There ball fields with access to playgrounds, conscious, bathrooms, bleachers and more. There are scenic trails which lead to the lakeside. The main trail links to the greater orlando area. This park hosts the Highland games annually as well. Great place to visit while in Winter Springs.

Shout out to our Youth Boxing Team for their volunteer work last week helping some older community members fill up bags of sand before the hurricane!!

Such an excellent park, I don't know where to even begin. 3 story playground IN THE SHADE. That's a MUST for Florida playgrounds in my opinion. A set of six pretty standard height swings, no handicap/ADA settings though unfortunately, a nice sandbox for those who love the dirt, there's a single hoop basketball court and a double wide volleyball court. (2 separate/side by side) There are also 2 picnic pavilions each with power.

This park is amazing. It has a 3-story playground in a shaded, serene area close to a nature trail, the lake, swings, sand volleyball, basketball, and a few shaded gazebos.It also has a smaller playground near the baseball field. The entire park is vast and has many open fields for other sports. I recently visited the dog park. It was very nicely shaded but had no running water inside for the dogs to drink, also the grass was long. Otherwise it looked fairly clean and picked up.

This place is awesome, always super clean and top notch athletic fields. (If you find a hidden footpath behind the basketball courts you'll be transported to another world, all these shots were taken back there)

Central Winds Park is perfect for my little one,cork floor, and beautifully painted,clean, and fun slides,great double swings, and shaded picnic tables,in another words,perfect.

Excellent place for the Scottish Highland games!

Great area for events

Fun park with a lot of options for everyone. A lot of fun city events are held here too; went for Independence Day. They had a band, a lot of tents and booths, bounce houses and games for kids, food trucks, and fireworks. Plenty of parking.

Beautiful park! Lots of space to play on the playground, safe area, and lots of areas for recreation.

What an experience.
A must see.

Enjoyed the park and didn’t see any alligators which is a plus. The nature trail was cool and the kids enjoyed the two-story slide.

Great place to relax, walk around, partake nature. You just need to get past the playground and the sports fields, and discover the more secluded spots, which are wonderful to have a picnic.

Perfect weather to watch the games and bands. Food was very good and plenty of vendors for shopping.
