The Avenue Church

I cannot recommend this church enough. It is a place of upbeat worship and healing while being right in line with the word of God. They have life groups which you can join for a semester and get to know the other people in the church. This is something that is missing in other churches. Welcoming to the MAX! The pastors are on fire, humble, truthful and kind. Try it for 2 months, you'll never leave!

I really enjoyed the message and the pastor has so much compassion for his members and the community. I honestly told the I felt like I was back in Brooklyn NY. The members are so friendly and welcoming 🙏. God has truly blessed this congregation.

If you love the Lord and want to take the limits off,then you should come to the Avenue. The Holy Spirit can be felt as soon as you pull into the parking lot. You Belong at the Avenue. It's a large church but everyone treats you like it wasn't.

The most welcoming, loving outreach I have ever experienced in a church. The preaching is not candied, sugar coated, or watered down. This church is real about Jesus and loving people where they are. The pastor has a heart for the area and other churches and rv outages prayer. The food pantry is an experience all in its own. They have a plethora of small groups to make sure no one has to walk out their walk alone! The youth group is incredible. They go after the heart of God, encourage them to speak up and out about Jesus, and are the friendliest group I have had the pleasure of meeting. Lastly, the opportunities to serve are tailored to who you are and empower each person to want to contribute to the community!

We made it our home! I hope you find it a place you can call home.

I do not agree with the way they baptized, the Bible plainly states in act 2:38 how
to baptized in the name of Jesus in remission of your sins and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost

This is the best church in the area! Always loving and giving back to our community. We’ve all been truly blessed by this church and their obedience to God!

We have been coming here for the last 2 1/2 years and for it to have so many people, you are always welcomed by at least 10-20 people every time you come. No matter what you have done, where you have been, what ethnicity you come from, rich or poor, tall or short, quiet as a church mouse or a screaming your lungs out worshiper - you really won’t find another experience with a move of God that looks and feels like Heaven than what you will find at The Avenue! It truly is one great big, happy family!!!

I have been going for about 6 months! I been a church goer since I was young. But this church is one of the best churches I ever been to! God is there, the staff and team are amazing beyond belief! You feel like you belong. It doesn't matter what you look like , how you feel. They accept you where you are! I have two young kids ! Their nursery team is outstanding! They beg to go to church every Sunday! We love the Avenue

I LOVE THIS CHURCH!! The pastors are spirit filled and LOVE Jesus. No judgement and no condemnation. We feel so loved and welcomed. Pastor Justin Graham always has props/visuals to share with the preaching which helps to understand the message and Bible lesson. There is always truth and projects Gods love. We are blessed indeed to be a part of this church!

This is the first church I’ve ever gone to where I didn’t check my watch to see how soon the service would be over. Justin is the real deal. When he gets rolling, he is on fire! I could have sat there for another hour and listened to him preach! Very interesting and very motivating. He knows what he is talking about, and you can tell that a lot of preparation goes into the service. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!

It's not a place you feel like you have to go to church, but a place were you WANT to go to church. You will get a genuine, loving feel even before you walk in the door. The songs are contemporary and upbeat. The Pastor doesn't preach just happy, feel good sermons but will teach you about the hope and truth about Jesus Christ. Come and see the newest series that he is teaching, you won't be disappointed!

We have been coming here for a few years as a family. It's my favorite church in East TN. They do so much for the community and I look forward to coming to church with my kids. It always make me feel better and I love that we live close by the Avenue.

Where do I start? I LOVE my Avenue Family!!! From my good days to my bad ones and everything in between-they love me for who I am! It is a big church and the best way to get connected is to a Life Group or you can feel lost in the crowd! I have been blessed with SO many friendships since coming to the Avenue! Are they perfect? Absolutely not and don't expect them to be, but I know for a fact their only desire is to Invite other people in to experience God's love and hope!! I get an amazing word every single week!!! Best place ever!!!! I can't say enough good things. One of my biggest blessings!

The Avenue has changed my life and my family life tremendously!! The Holy Spirit is definitely present every time I walk through the doors. I love my church!! We are stronger together

I love this Church only been going there for 2 months now I plan on continuing going there. The people are so kind and the singing and the preacher is truly a blessing you can feel the Holy Spirit though out the church . 💕

You belong here! Watch online. Come on person. This church does more for the Lakeway area than any other I know. Seeing how community minded, and globally, they are for the lost is incredible. Come and find love without shame or guilt. If you're ready to set aside your burdens and find rest in the arms of Jesus and find community among others like you- this is the place. Come join a life group. Get involved and change your life.

My husband and I have visited twice. Pastor Justin is an anointed man of God. We love it! Worship is awesome too. My husband had been in ministry for years playing Organ and keyboards and the music is awesome!!!!. Great church ♥
