The star of the show, in my opinion, is the fried catfish. It's crispy, flavorful, and truly the best I've ever had. But don't just take my word for it - the entire menu is full of tempting choices.

The buffet had many options. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. The waitress was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed ourselves!

Great food and the afternoon buffet was cheap in price but not cheap in food wise. We sure enjoyed our lunch there.

Loved it, on our way to the airport this was my last restaurant visit in the states. The buffet was amazing and everything tasted really good. It is a very nice place and im excited to go again.

We arrived after 8pm on a Sunday, so weren't expecting much. Almost no customers at that time. Despite closing at 9pm, the buffet was still full and being refreshed right until we left.

Our server JoAnn was top-notch, and pretty much everything I had was solid food for the price. Soup (2 kinds), salad bar with lots of options, a number of hot main and side dishes on offer. I had pork chops, catfish, grilled fish, broccoli-cheese rice casserole, candied sweet potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce. Lots of dessert options, too many for 1 meal! Pecan pie, coconut cream pie, bread pudding, and soft serve vanilla ice cream.

We even were offered a takeaway for our scraps for our service dog in the truck, and more ice tea to go.

All in all? Solid home cooking, cute and clean atmosphere, great, personable service, and real value for money on the Sunday evening buffet. We'll have to give the Fri or Sat seafood buffet a go another visit!

We ate here the last night in Jasper. The food was wonderful. The fried chicken breast was the best I've ever had. Fried pickles were amazing. Hubby had the 3 pc catfish dinner, and could barely finish it. Fried okra was amazing. We highly recommend it.

I sent my friend here for NYE before they closed. He ordered to go and they were out of soup so they offered to substitute with a second slice of pie. The portions were good and tasty, the pie was good, and the ladies there were very kind. This place is a good value - no wonder they have the best rating in town. (Yes, he's been back a few times since.)

The restaurant was clean, the staff was so courteous and genuinely friendly and the food was delicious! The restaurant has beautiful decorations with rich history and is kept very clean and tidy. The seafood buffet was exceptional. Definitely recommend!

This is absolutely, hands down , ERRYYYYBODYS favorite restaurant in Jasper. Period.
The fish is always on point, the veggies aren't overcooked...and there are several to pick from, the salad bar is great.....the variety of desserts is crazy.
Never disappoints!!

Great seafood and very friendly, attentive staff... If you go at peak times, you're going to be waiting in the buffet line for a few minutes but don't let that discourage you. It is a true testament to how good the food is. Best seafood within 150 miles west of the Louisiana border. I would prefer a little more seasoning on the food but it is by no means bland and I'm sure they are just trying to appeal to a median taste for customers that have to watch their salt intake (I probably should too, honestly).

They have the best buffet. Fried fish, chicken fried pork, fried chicken, salads. All delicious and always hot and fresh.

5 stars! Their buffet is awesome! Fried catfish( perfection),chicken fried steak, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, black eyed peas...and so much more for under $11! As you can see from my picture...dessert is to die for!
They greet you coming and going and the waitresses are right there to refill your tea,coffee, anything you need...definitely going back!!!

We were camping nearby and saw this pop up on Google and decided to give it a try. It was wonderful. So wonderful we went back two days in a row. The food was fresh and they change up entrées and sides every day. We were there for lunch and it’s big enough that even if they have a lot of people it doesn’t feel crowded. The fried pork loin and fried chicken were outstanding. But the pies are the stars. Best pie ever! It’s a cute place, super clean with great service.

If you go to jasper Texas you have to have the sea food buffet on weekends frigging awesome. Not to take away from weekday buffet. These people truly put a lot of love in every dish.... AWESOME!!!!!! 1 IN A MILLION

We go for the seafood buffet on Friday and Saturday night. We really have to starve ourselves because it is soooo delicious. Hard to believe they can cook to the quality they do but it's always delicious with a huge variety. The shrimp brochette, fantastic, fried shrimp, perfect batter and fry. Too much to mention, and homemade desserts.

I am in town for a nearby wildfire, it was recommended that we try out the Cedar Tree as they definitely take care of fire fighters. And boy did they! The seafood buffet was so tasty and we ate too much desert. On their menu board they had drawn a thin red line flag which someone even took the time to hand draw all 50 stars on the flag. In the end, the owner had told his staff that he was covering the meals of any firefighters that night. We were blown away! Amazing people and an amazing restaurant here in Jasper!

Great catfish but since I was on my lunch break, the buffet was a little too much food for me. It all looked great. I did have the bread pudding, awesome!!!

Awesome everything!! Tea glass coukd be larger, but the excellent waitress never let it get below half full. If you leave hungry or unhappy, that's on you.
