Golden Chick

The food was absolutely delicious enjoyed every bit of it so much so that I wanted more after I had finished a 3pc meal. It was well seasoned, cooked to perfection and fresh.
Definitely will return over and over again so I can try different things from the menu.
Definitely recommend a visit.

Everything was amazing! This was our first time here. The dirty rice was delish with a perfect amount of spice. I loved the chicken sandwich I got, specifically the perfect amount of pickles and sauce ratio. It was a quality chicken sandwich- the chicken was thick and the breading perfect!!

Our son got the chicken strips, looked delish and he said the roll was really good as well.

My husband got the wicked chicken sandwich- the spice was really good. And the fries were cooked well!

Definitely a new fav....we did the chicken sandwich challenge, trying them all over and I dare to say that this is one of THE very best!!

Picked up an order for a group. Food was still being worked on so I had to wait a few minutes. Nice hot and fresh. Inside of the restaurant was very very clean and nicely decorated. I liked they had a free soft serve frozen yogurt machine. I didn't indulge tho

The food is outstanding, but I do hope they address the cleanliness issue in the men's restroom and finally repair the soap dispenser, which has been out of order for more than three months.

Today for lunch, my woman wanted chicken.. so chicken I got. This location has a very awesome employee named Vernon who took my order with zero issues, was pleasant at the window and even recognized my military service with a discount (I never mention it because the experience is rewarding in itself). Upon receiving my meals, he wished me a nice day. While this may seem like the standard, it certainly has become scarce to receive service with a smile. Y'all go see Vernon at lunch time, this location, if you wanna see the example. Kudos young man, keep it up.

And yes, the chicken was delicious.

Our experience was very positive. This location is just off of I-44 so it was convenient on our road trip through Wichita Falls. We were tired and wanted something other than burgers. I had crispy fried chicken with mashed potatoes while my wife had spicy chicken strips and fried okra. The food was good, the store was neat and clean and the staff was very friendly.

The staff are always super friendly. We went through the Saturday night and Shemeka greeted us at the window with a big smile. Our food came out quickly. Everything came out fresh, hot & correctly! You could tell The rolls were packaged with care in the boxes because they weren't squished. Great job team. We appreciate your hard work & will return soon!

I eat here quite often before work. Food is always great. Service is always great. Not sure of the lady’s name that was working the front counter, but Today 3/15/22, at around noon, she was very friendly and extremely nice. Very pleasant experience today.

We picked chicken tenders. They came with a roll, gravy and fries. There was plenty of everything. The chicken and fries were delicious. Just the right amount of batter on the chicken and cooked to perfection. So good. Not greasy, just light and tender. Of course, the rolls were a little piece of heaven. Service was quick, too.

If I could give this place 50 stars I would, or more still! Just passing through with my family and our first time at a golden chick. The employees were the most amazing I have ever experienced!!! Truly the definition of hospitable! So thank you to your team! The food was delicious, chicken was moist and I can't waite until we come back through to stop again!

I love the Golden Roasted Chicken! The rolls are like dessert. Dangerous lol. Thank you to all the staff they're always kind!

The catfish was excellent! It was moist and flakey, and the coating was perfect. The shrimp was overcooked. I will definitely eat more catfish!

We don't have Golden Chicks where I live so when we travel to a city where there is one, we take advantage of it. And not all Golden Chick's serve pepper puppies. This one does which was the reason we chose this one. Customer service was great and food was excellent. Fried catfish, chicken tenders, okra and of course pepper puppies.

EXCELLENT FOOD and STAFF

Invoice DT419. I-44 & Airport Road.
We got family size mashed potatoes with a gravy. We ordered/paid for 2 extra gravy since the container is small each.

Only problem: the gravy container LID came off inside the takeout bag.
I suggest making sure the lid is securely Tight & put the gravy in a box like one for catfish.

We had family size Mac & Cheese plus 3 pieces of catfish.

The cashier was friendly and they brought the bag to our car on the drive-thru waiting area. The catfish was cooked fresh.

We prefer Golden Chick instead of KFC!!😀

Chicken Express over cooked and dry.
Popeyes only thing good there are the sides.
Chick-fil-A over priced and always leaves me hungry.
Golden Chick is prefect all the time. Best tasting chicken. Only place worth it.

The food is good. Service is also decent. I would say it's a nice place to go as they have a decent combination of meal options..

I like this place much better than any other fast food chicken. I went to the new location across from Walmart and it was good service. The place was really clean and the food was even better. I prefer this over something like KFC or Chicken Express. Try their rolls, they're great.
