Union Square Credit Union

I’ve been extremely happy with this credit union. We had one minor issue with the online check deposit system that was easily resolved. I was always treated politely and quickly. International wires were handled swiftly. Their banking app is simple and functions well.

I do think they could work out some better names for their accounts. “Cash with saver” and “saver with cash” leave room for a ton of confusion, but otherwise they’ve been great. My biggest complaint is is that there is no branch where I’ve moved to so I have to find a new bank.

I went through Union Square (Justin Houston) for a mortgage for our first home and had a great experience. Closing was on time and Justin was able to answer all of me and my husband's many questions throughout the process. They were very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.

I purchased a vehicle and financed though Union Square. The experience was so wonderful that I have since opened a checking account. Whenever I call or email with questions or concerns everyone has been very helpful and responsive. Their customer service is top notch!

Union Square is a professional, friendly, and trustworthy business. From the first time I was introduced to a representative until I visited last week to complete my loan, I had confidence that this group follows through on what they say and do. This business should be a model for other banking and lending establishments to emulate. It has been said that people make the difference in organization and in this company, the employees really do.

I’ve been banking with Union Square since 1976. I have had personal loans, auto loans, and my mortgage was with USFCU. The people who work there are the most friendly and helpful staff you want helping you. I have never had any questions or needs come up that the staff couldn’t fix!! I heartily encourage you to do all your banking with Union Square.

I recently got an auto loan with them and the dealership put $25 into a savings account for me and I’ve been adding to it periodically because I have been so satisfied with their customer service. If we lived closer I would definitely change banks.

Been banking with Union Square for so many years. Had a brief few where I tried another institution and quickly discovered it just wasn't home. So I came back. It's perfect for all my banking needs. Staff has always been great and I just love the new Kemp street branch. I can't imagine banking anywhere else. ❤

I had been injured on my job November 16, 2016 and after much physical therapy. I was unable to go back to work. I had paid off 4 cars in my life time before my injury. I had excellent credit could get whatever I wanted. I was in the process of paying of another car before I was injured. However, I lost everything after I met my mmi with Workmen’s Comp claim in 2018. It left me with literally $5,000 to my name. I voluntarily surrendered my car back to Toyota. I brought another car with the cash I had left. However, it broke down two months later because the belt broke, destroying my engine and my only method of transportation. I went without a car for two years. Finally, in 2020 during Covid 19. I was able to purchase a new car, but my credit was bad, so my interest rate was high 18%.
I love Union Square Credit Union, because I just refinanced my car loan with them March 3, 2020. I received an amazing interest rate of 6%. They are very professional, caring, and looking forward to helping you with whatever need you may have. I was also approved for their credit card with a 13% interest rate. They also offer their members a lot of perks.

Has a great safety deposit setup. Prices were reasonable, and you could get access when the branch was open via a hand scanner.
