Newk's Eatery

I ate an early snack/lunch at Newk's, while waiting to be picked up after seeing U.S. Dermatology Associates. The pimento mac and cheese with bacon was outstanding! As always, I loved the red velvet cake. The large, well-lit parking lot has been swept but needs pressure washing. The restaurant is clean, as are the bathrooms. Service was fast and efficient.

Their salads are huge! And delicious! The lobster bisque was very tasty. I couldn't eat it all. I tried the new Green Goddess salad and it was MUAH!

It is good to get back out and dine in! I appreciate their attention to detail when it comes cleaning, social distancing and of course fantastic fresh food made the order!

Fantastic black and blue salad. A great combination of beef with greens, tomatoes, onions, and other. Then a bar with croutons, grated cheese, pickles, peppers, and garlic slices.

A great buy, great taste, and great place to enjoy a meal in a peaceful atmosphere. Wife and I split this bowl and leave full.

Really Love the food and atmosphere. The black guy from New Orleans who works there brings perfection. He seems to run the place like a well oiled clock. Love him! So professional. A can do attitude.

It was my first time eating here so I didn't go in with any expectations, but it was surprisingly great, I got the italian sandwich and it was bomb. I went with family and despite everyone getting a different thing there were no complaints. Overall great place to eat.

Fast curb side orders, have only tried the roast beef and carmelized onion sandwich with horseradish sauce it is amazing I will be going back well worth the price ...

The sandwiches and soups were hot and very delicious! They looked small for half sandwich at a 12 buck meal! Overall I was very satisfied with my purchase! The employees were very nice and looked like they loved there job! Keep up the great work! Will return! ❤

Brought my dog in today, because newks is pet friendly! The patio was pretty nice for a windy day. The staff is always super friendly and the food is great.

Excellent food, excellent service. The staff were all friendly. I highly recommend the Newk's Q or the BBQ Chicken Pizza.

I had the spicy shrimp pizza and it was amazing! Very generous with the shrimp. Also had a brownie, wish I would have gotten two. Will be back for the brownies!

First time to eat at Newk's. It was very clean and all employees were helpful and friendly. We both had their Taco Salad and it was great, included diced avocados...watch out for the jalapenos. They were hot (but good)! 🌶

We grabbed lunch with my Aunt while dropping my son off at his apartment. As you step in, there is a large sign with a QR code where you can grab a number and place your order via the internet. That is way more efficient than sitting in line. I am not sure if people are used to that in East Texas, as people would look at the sign and look confused. I told the folk glaring at the sign, "It is like ordering an Uber. All you need to do is order you food over the internet, easy peasy." You would have thought I was speaking Greek to them. I place my order on my phone and paid for it.

The server brought out our order very quickly. She was very sweet and polite. There was not an option where I could order a glass of water, as I do not drink sodas. She was nice enough to bring one over for me.

The Chipotle Caesar Shrimp Sandwich was amazing. The bread the perfect firmness. The shrimp had a nice tang to them. I only with there were more shrimp on the sandwich. The shrimp were also larger than you would get at many sit down restaurants I have been to. I had opted for the Chicken Gumbo soup, which was equally tasty. My son ordered chocolate cake for dessert. I am usually not a fan of chocolate cake with chocolate icing. This cake was not too sweet and hit the spot when you are craving dessert.

The food and service are top notch at this Newk's. If you are looking to get in, grab lunch and get back to work, this is the place to do it.

The black and blue salad had cheese, nuts and a healthy amount of cold beef with blue cheese dressing. Lots of cheese! To go order.

This location is amazing! I came in 45 mins before close and they still gave me amazing service. Very kind, friendly, and got the order right. I forgot to tell them to add avocado on a sandwich before paying and without hesitation the woman at the register made it happen. I really appreciate the hard work and customer service even when I know they were ready to go home.

Love their pizza and sandwich options! I never order the salads but everyone that I'm with that has it says they're great too! A little pricey for lunch but the taste is worth it! They also have some of the best sweet tea in town!
