Dr kerns has been my doctor for over a year! He has great bedside manner ,really pays attention to detail !! The ladies at the front desk do an amazing job scheduling my appointments. And sends reminders for my appointment as well!!! The nurses are always friendly and very attenative!!! Im so very thankful for there support as my medical team!

I see Dr Kerns. He is a great doctor with good bedside manner. I highly recommend him. Unlike some of the other reviews, I did not have any issues with the receptionist or nurses. Everyone I came into contact with in the office was nice and professional. They are worth the drive from Dothan for me.

Very convenient to where we live. I have NO PROBLEMS with Dr. Kern. This branch of SARHA is a blessing to this area. Wait times have never been a problem and their pre-appointment communication has been the best. They won't let you forget your appointment and getting a refill is easy peazy.

Dr Hovey is great

I saw Dr. Hovey at his office in Dothan. I had almost no wait time. The receptionist was cheerful and able to multitask. The doctor was checked in and listened to what I said. I am a complex patient and believe Dr. Hovey may be the right choice and acedemically up to the challenge. I wasn't impressed with the decor. Too much gray. The chairs were uncomfortable. But I am not going there to sit and admire the decor. The important components were there.

The people here are very nice. Doctor seems to be real attentive to patients problems.

Its an okay place. Front staff is always nice. Place is nice and clean. Just not thrilled by the doctor I see. Feel like she is always trying to prove why my requests are wrong. 🙄

The office personal could use a make off. Dr Kern is a good Dr but the staff needs major help..god people but does not know what they are doing.

Personally I am not impressed with this clinic the thing I think is wrong with it is the doctor is just trying to ride out his time to put his time in and move on. They do not follow up on tests or listen to what you are telling them is going on with your body. They are more concerned about getting you in and out. I have to have pain meds they make me drive 50 miles (this round trip) just to pick up a prescription then I have to go get it filled. I have been telling the doctor something isn't right but he just isn't really listening.

I've found from personal experience that if it's just you and the doctor in the room during your visit that they're is more more understanding but when others (students)are present not so much! I just feel like there's just an impression to be made between doctor and students, I've heard others say basically the same thing. Just saying!!! He seems to be nicer and more concerned when it's just him and the patient in the room.

My husband had been in referred to Dr. Hovey as a primary doctor after being in the hospital for a chronic condition. Because my husband is disabled, receiving home health care and can't drive I asked them to fill out FMLA paperwork to provide protection while I take care of my husband. They refused to fill out the paperwork and because I got upset they refused to see my husband as a patient. Never again will I take my husband to Flowers Hospital for treatment. The doctors and staff are lazy, rude and uncaring and don't take time to listen to patients and their needs. They are incompetent when it comes to paperwork

My granddaughter and I went in at 8 am and I asked if they accepted walk ins, receptionist said yes, so I signed in. Then she asked if we had been in before, I told her that I had but not my granddaughter. She then went to the back and came out and told me that they had double booked today and suggested we go to other towns to see a doctor. There was 1 person in the lobby, we were #2 &3. I won’t be back. So much for home town Doctor’s office.
