Barriques Coffee - Old Sauk

I was in town to meet up with an old friend. It was perfect for the occasion. Coffee was delicious, staff was friendly and courteous. Service was fast. I left my laptop and they kept it safe for me.

This place has not led me astray. Without a doubt my favorite of all the locations in town. The staff is great and always takes care of the guests. They might be too good at upselling the pastries but it is so worth it. The seating is plentiful and cozy as well!

Great service, tasty food, and tasty coffee! Our Breakfast bowl was very good…eggs avocado beans peppers onions and seasoning. It was lovely to sit on the patio in the good weather

Such a cute coffee place with good smoothies and breakfast food too. The app is easy to use with a generous point system. Ordering ahead to pickup is so easy. They also sell wine -- haven't had any but the selection looks pretty comprehensive. Could use some shade for the outside tables.

The coffee here is from Madison Wisconsin. There own brand, thts a plus. Every time I walk in this business, the aroma is so wonderful, and the staff are so friendly. The only thing is the beans are whole. So if you buy some to take home, you're going to have to grind them yourself. Please stop here for some of the best coffee in the city.

Cute little coffee shop with a lot of selection, great atmosphere and partially a wine store. Enjoyed my cup of coffee.

Coffee is excellent and service is top notch. Atmosphere is good, but the windows and windowsills inside could be cleaner.

Excellent specialty coffee drinks and very good breakfast options. Love coming here for a brunch date on the weekends! They also have a good wine selection and comfy seating area by a fireplace to add to the nice ambiance.

Barriques always has a great selection of coffee and food items, and great customer service.

I was also impressed with how the employee at Barriques today (I think his name was Andrew) handled an anti-masker in the store and stayed calm in spite of her rudeness and was able to get her to leave. It's something that nobody in the service industry should have to deal with, but props to Barriques/Andrew for handling it so well.

Super crowded, but service was fast and efficient. Cold brew served over ice in a pint glass was delightful

I often look for excuses to stop here. While Barriques is a chain, they maintain a good neighborhood coffee feel. Their coffee is up to par, and their drinks are never too sweet (though I'm sure they'd accommodate if that's your preference). The ability to purchase wine from a nicely curated selection is a good bonus. It's a good place to stay to catch up with friends, and efficient enough if your on the go.

Consistently, one of the best coffee houses in Madison. They know how to make a dry cappuccino breve and other coffee drinks, and they have good morning pastries. It can be crowded at certain times in the morning but that's the fun of the place. The crowd in interesting and the staff is friendly. A great experience.

Nice spot with a little fire place to get coffee and food with friends. The baristas there are friendly and make great drinks - I usually get an oat milk cappuccino with hazelnut (my hug in a mug!). Millie is always friendly and a delight to see - she is full of delicious drink recipes, too, including a "breakfast latte" and cozy hot cocoa!

Traditional coffee shop prices with superior service, offering classic beverages, favorite specialties, and creative or classic meals. Shoutout to Salen and Olivia for being awesome and welcoming baristas.

Great coffee, lattes, espresso. To eat I have tried and loved the Mediterranean plate, cowboy cookie and yogurt/berry/granola. Scones are ok, not great. Parking is free and easy. Seems to have a high staff turnover. Cozy interior to include a working gas fireplace!

I live in Janesville, but whenever I'm in Madison I find a Barriques. Top-notch coffee, service, and atmosphere. If you haven't been there, I recommend you go ASAP! I don't drink anymore, but they offer wine for those who do.

A modern, cozy and busy, cafe. Good customer service and efficient food prep. I ordered a latte and scone, was in and out in less than ten minutes at 750 AM, and it was busy. Both were good. I would certainly return.
