Anna's Pizzeria

We've been hearing about Anna's pizza a lot lately, especially since their recent reopen, which so many seem super excited about. Many mentioned it as a Sun Prairie staple that was a must try, so we knew we needed to check it out.

We were wondering where to find their menu online, and we were thankful for a few locals who posted pictures of the menu board on a Sun Prairie Facebook page. Right now, Anna's is only accepting orders over the phone or in person, so keep that in mind when ordering. Their phone number is the same as it was before they reopened, so that's helpful.

When we called in to order, the staff was super friendly. Anna's is pickup only, and they accept cash, check, and credit card, so that was outstanding to hear as we had heard they were cash only.

The decor inside was very sleek and nicely done. As soon as you walk in the door, the smell of baking pizza hits you, and it smells AMAZING.

We tried a couple of different topping options to get a good overall impression. First off, upon opening the box, the pizza looked incredible! The cheese was bubbly and brown, and the pizza itself was HUGE. It looked exactly like a cartoon pizza with cheese that would stretch a mile long when you take a bite.

The pepperoni pizza was delicious and exactly what you want pepperoni pizza to be. It was salty, with a little spice and complimented perfectly by the slightly sweet sauce.

The sausage was fresh tasting, not too spicy but full of flavor. The pieces of sausage were huge and spread well over the pizza, ensuring you get a piece of sausage in every bite.

The cheese was fantastic and definitely our favorite. It had such a good flavor, and when it was hot, the stretch was crazy impressive. The crust was just the right balance of chewy and thin. You can definitely taste the effort they put into making their crust from scratch.

We will DEFINITELY be going back to Anna's again soon, no question. There's a reason the community is celebrating their reopen, they make some killer pizza. It's easy to see why this is mentioned as a Sun Prairie staple. It has definitely earned that title and more.

This was the first time ordering from Anna's when I went in I was a little skeptical at first then when I picked up the box the pizza was really heavy so I knew I got what I paid for. When I opened the box the crust was just like I liked it. Also generous toppings and it tasted great!! I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't been there.

This place cannot get enough stars!!! I started coming here when I was a little girl. My dad worked for the city of sun prairie and he would either stop on his way home on Friday’s to pick it up, or we would go pick it up together after he got home from work every Friday until I got older. I moved out of state when I turned 18 and have lived various places since and have been in search of a pizza that even moderately compares. No luck in 5 other states and many of pizza places later. I bragged about this place, I told stories about this place, I have core memories attached to this pizza. I’m now 28 and have moved back home as of a few months ago, and my father passed away almost 2 years ago. Since I’ve returned, I’ve had the pleasure of carrying out my dad and I’s tradition of pizza Fridays and it not only brings me the utmost joy, but it connects me with him and helps heal that part of me. The little kid in me smiles every time I take that first bite and as if the pizza could be any more tasty, the meaning behind it makes it all the more delicious!!!! Anna and her family have always been so kind to me and my father, and I love seeing Jeff in there still churning out the tastiest pizza pies! The staff is so friendly and they all know how much this pizza means to me and how I look forward to Friday all week long just for Anna’s! No other pizza in the area compares and I say that confidently!!! I promise you that! The homemade sauce is divinely sweet and the homemade sausage is seasoned to perfection 👌🏼 Any toppings are great on Anna’s pizza, but my personal recommendation is to keep it simple so you can enjoy the complexity of flavors from the homemade crust, sauce, and sausage (if you enjoy) and how they sing together in perfect harmony on your tastebuds!! Thankful to have this place!!!

I love this place! I've visited for dine-in three times and a I've enjoyed it immensely each time. Extra cheese on a pepperoni pizza is incredibly satisfying and soooooooo good! The owner and staff are super cool and enjoy a little conversation when time allows from their busy pizza making. Highly recommend. Totally worth the price. High quality ingredients and great service. Will be returning many, many times.

I love Annas pizza. They make an amazing Hawaiian pizza! Im glad they survived their struggles these past few years. I do wish that they would offer deliver again without a third party food delivery.

We just moved to the area (DeForest) and are looking for our new goto pizza place. So far, we've not been carried away with any of our experiences. After reading several great reviews, we decided to give Anna's a try. Our first impression was very good. I chatted with the lady at the counter and learned that the recipes used are from Anna's family in Italy and that her husband was worrying the ovens that evening. The sauce had a nice, robust taste, and the toppings were good tasting, fresh, and appropriately plentiful. Our only disappointment was that the crust was a bit soft due to how much liquid came from all of the toppings. But, we ordered a Works, so it's somewhat expected. As a bonus, it reheated very well. This is most definitely on our short list for pizza in the area.

Such a great pick for pizza! If anyone knows about pizza, they can tell you that there is something about the Italian map on the box or bag to that makes it official! THIS IS THAT PLACE! Fresh ingredients and perfect thin crust. Very polite and quick with orders. Definitely recommend!

Great pizza! Never had a bad experience with Anna’s. Staff is all super friendly. Always on time.

We ordered take out recently and loved it! It’s a little hole in the wall family owned joint that only takes cash which usually is a good sign the food will be good. The toppings on the pizza are just the right amount and the crust is probably my favorite. It’s not too thin and not too thick, the perfect hand tossed. It’s a little greasy but that’s what makes pizza like this great! This is going to be a new go to of ours for a delicious traditional pizza!

Best Pizza in Sun Prairie!

Delivery is great for curing the Pandemic Blues! Definitely comfort food in these strange days. Still the best pizza in Sun Prairie.

This is by far the best pizza in Sun Prairie. However, I was disappointed that the half and half pizza I ordered is clearly not split down the middle with toppings. It was more 2/3 and 1/3. Hopefully next time we order it will be more evenly split.

Welcome back Anna’s Pizzeria! We have missed you! We used to order from Anna every Friday and she knew the pizza we ordered every week all I had to say was “hi Anna its Shirley” and she knew just what we wanted! It was our favorite pizza place back in the day…. Then things (and recipes?) seemingly changed, vehicles ran into the building, they were closed (which we were wondering if they were closing forever). Now they are BACK — just like back in the early 2000’s— same special sauce, best thin crust, best green olives & sausage!!!! If you loved Anna’s before, ya gotta get back ASAP! You will fall in love all over again!

We’ve been going to Anna’s for 26 years. Will always be our favorite pizza, run by the most amazing people! Absolutely the BEST pizza in the state and possibly the world!

For many years my family would celebrate special occasions at Anna's. Even after working 2nd shift I would call ahead and order a small works for myself. Always LOVED their pizza and still do, my all time favorite!!

Great job to the staff! Wonderful pizza! Our visit to dine in probably came at THE most hectic time (Sunday evening with Pack/Bears). The staff was up front with us and said it would be an hour for the pizza to be ready which was totally fine. We had some garlic bread that wasn't so great, but the young lady who was our waitress was WONDERFUL!!!! Even being slammed with carry out pickups and other tasks, she was incredibly attentive, positive, and a ray of light. I could tell the staff in back were working their tails off too, but the waitress was the face of the operation. Great job to her, made me happy to give a well earned tip! Great job to those in back as well, the 50-60 minute wait was only 30 minutes!

Awesome, clean environment that’s stylish and is great to watch games at. Food is amazing.

Locally owned by amazing, friendly and hard working folks. They are the PROFESSIONALS of thin crust pizza. Make sure you get sausage and pepperoni. The pizza sauce is amazing!! They cut the pizza into squares which means you MUST get the tiny triangle like pieces. When I visit my Brother and his family, this is one of our go to places in the are and they never fail. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing pizza! I love how sweet their sauce is. Their cheese bread is awesome as well! I would highly recommend Anna's and will continue to be a customer.

Today I ordered for the first time and we loved it. I ordered one with pepperoni and one with shrimp and they were delicious. The crust was perfectly cooked and crusty, not burned. I gave Anna’s ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
