Magnolia Creek Lodge

My husband and I loved every single thing about this place. It is off the beaten path, so it is very quiet. It's clean and pretty. The property is well kept and the staff is friendly. It was so peaceful.

There is a dog park, rv park, amphitheatre, and pub on the property. (Not in the lodge, but in the same property complex.)

It's really a cool little place. You can rent a room in the lodge or a little stand alone cottage/cabin. They have one room and two room cottages. We rented the King Jr Suite in the lodge, and it was perfection! I definitely recommend you check it out.

We had a wonderful stay in the double room cabins at The Crossing at Big Creek. This is such a beautiful and peaceful place to relax. Everything was very clean and the staff was super accommodating. Mrs. Sharon is the absolute best!! She made this whole trip a pleasure. From reservation to check out. It is so hard to find good people today who are hard working and love their job. She is the face of this business and really represents it well. Thank you again for a wonderful experience!!

It was late and we were in search of a quiet clean hotel to spend one night.
With no other options we set our GPS.
Check in was quick and easy and we were offered assistance with our luggage. Rooms are spacious, Bed was very comfortable, my only real issue was not very much water pressure at shower head and shower head was way higher than normal and I'm 5'7" but never the less, there was plenty of hot water and only took a little longer than norm so all is good. The next morning upon leaving was able to see the place in its entirety and what a beautiful place it is. Beautiful decor and property very well kept. Staff was kind and friendly and I felt safe!
Glad we chose them.

We recently stayed at Magnolia Creek Lodge while visiting family in Dothan. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed this much more than staying in any hotel around the circle. Our room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We were greeted when we arrived and was treated like family during our stay. I felt like I was at home during our stay. I would definitely recommend Magnolia Creek Lodge. We will stay there when we are in town. Lovely place that should not be missed.

I absolutely love this place. It is definitely a hidden gem, and if you didn't know about it, you would pass right by. I ended up spending my anniversary weekend there, and the entire time, Mrs. Sharon made sure we were taken care of with excellent customer service. I love the setup and the scenery. I told her that we would be back, and in fact, we were looking at times because we had named it our official weekend getaway spot. The location, the scenery, the amenities, and the customer service make you want to come back every time. I would definitely recommend this place and tell your family and friends about the gem.

This past weekend my mother and I stayed at the Magnolia Creek Lodge. Ms. Sharon called to confirm our reservation,  she was very cheerful and helpful. The lodge smelled so clean and pleasant upon arrival. May I also add absolutely beautiful! Ms. Sharon was so professional, helpful and very sweet! She checked us in, walked us to our room and was available for any questions we had. Our room was spotless, we could smell the faint smell of bleach that further assured us that our room was clean and disinfected!!!  Our linen was extremely soft and smelled so downy fresh! Ms. Sharon was the definition of hospitality. I am not sure if this company knows that they have a gem in this young lady. We travel all over and I can honestly say, her genuine personality, her smile, the professionalism that she displays is so rare. Please keep this team member because I'm certain she is the biggest reason for repeat guest! Thank you for this great experience!

In April 2022, our Women's Retreat was held here at the Magnolia Creek Lodge. This place is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are very well kept. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable, and clean. The service of the staff was impeccable. Sharon, Susan, and Kealy went above and beyond the status quo to make our stay an enjoyable and memorable one. Everything we needed, they graciously provided with a spirit of excellence. The atmosphere is very serene and inviting. Looking forward to my next visit here at the Magnolia Creek Lodge.

It's a beautiful property. Very clean. Excellent rooms. Sharon the host, is one of the nicest people that we have encountered in our travels. She helped us book our stay quickly, and it was spot on. We will definitely be back.

I was a guest at Magnolia Creek Lodge last weekend (September 17-19, 2021). I sincerely enjoyed my stay there. My room was very comfortable and spacious. What "Comfortable Bed" I slept in!!
Oh, let me not forget the furniture. The furniture contain so many drawers to accommodate your clothes. I loved the deep spacious drawers. This is what I do not see at many lodges and hotels....nice drawers. The hospitality staff was great...very courteous and friendly. Inside the lodge was very clean. The outside landscaping was attractive. Of course, the location of the Lodge is very accessible.......no problem getting there. I would very much stay here again if the opportunity comes around again.

Truly enjoyed my time here. Great spacious rooms, very clean and supplied. Staff is both friendly and helpful. Has a smoking area that is very relaxing. Casino is nearby and equally enjoyable. The only thing that I wished were here is a restaurant or nearby food place. If that happens, I would gladly rate this place a 100 star. The only reason I only give it 5 is because that's all the stars offered. But on a scale of 1 to 100, I give them 98+

We stayed at this gem in Feb for our daughters wedding as a large family group. What a wonderful place. Mrs Sharon and her entire staff were all so wonderful, sweet, accommodating and extremely welcoming. Thank you Mrs Sharon for making our time there a wonderful stay.

Magnolia Creek Lodge is a hidden gem, private and secure in a beautiful setting far enough away from the nearby entertainment venues and busy highway traffic. It has manicured grounds, it's quiet, peaceful, serene, and has excellent amenities and accommodations. Our group of 10 sorority sisters were celebrating our 25th "Deltaversary." We had the whole Lodge; all rooms, lobby, patio and etc., all to ourselves from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon. It was so luxurious, comfortable and home-like while not having to be concerned about being disturbed or disturbing other guests. Sharon and all the staff members were so awesome and accommodating, over and above expectations and we certainly appreciate their smiles, kindnesses, and hospitality. A family member and friends had stayed at the Magnolia Creek Cabins and raved about the amenities and location. I did a site visit and was so impressed that I recommended it to our group for our weekend celebration. We all agreed that the Lodge was the perfect choice for us and would highly recommend it as well as the cabins to other visitors to the area.

Very clean room, Sharon was super sweet and is just like what the other reviews say she is. Beds were comfy, didn’t have to wear a mask inside, and the bathroom was amazing! If you are looking for a nice clean hotel worth it’s cost, go here! I will definitely stay here again. Also the place smells amazing! Love the towels’ scent.

This place is beautiful. Away from the busy city, quiet and scenic. The rooms are big and the beds are more comfortable than any hotel I've stayed in. The staff are also warm and hospitable. I did notice the wifi was a bit slow, but once I put away my phone I was able to better appreciate the natural beauty of the surroundings so that worked out. All in all, I loved it here and plan to stay again.

A wonderful place to stay in a beautiful setting. Warm and friendly staff. A little off the beaten path (part of the charm). Nearby food is a challenge so plan ahead. Our room was great, large and very comfortable.

I rented this cabin after a friend of mine recommended it! It was truly a lost piece of art!! My husband was blown away by its beauty and charm. The swamp behind the cabin was the perfect backdrop! Sharon was very intuitive and informative when I called to inquire about the cabins. Sharon is such a delight to interact with and hospitality is her super power!! Even though she was off at my check in she made sure we had everything we needed, an absolute gem. The only take away was not being able to figure out how to work the heat. A perfect 5 Star stay!!

Wow, what an amazing stay!Booking is easy! Beautiful clean luxurious rooms! Comfortable beds! Peaceful and serene setting. Amazing staff so friendly and helpful!! Feels like home. If I could give a million stars I would! We will be back!

Stayed for a week and had a good visit. The staff was fantastic. They met every request and went the extra mile to ensure we were very satisfied with our stay. The area is very quiet for we could not hear the traffic. The lodge is very clean as well. There were only a couple of negatives. Wish they had a breakfast, which I heard they used to prior to COVID. My wife would have liked to have had a desk in the room for she wanted to take time to study for her upcoming certification exam. There is plenty of room to add a desk. However, we didn’t ask, knowing now they bend over backwards to make us comfortable, we should have asked for one. They would have probably got one! The walls between the rooms are thin for we could hear the neighbors quite well, but that is the case with most hotels. Other than that, I would highly recommend this lodge.

Back in October of 2021 we began looking for accommodations for our son and his fiancés wedding party in June, 2022. This place is a hidden gem right down the road from our home in lower Alabama! The hidden lodge in the back of the property is so beautiful along with 4 quaint tiny homes/cabins for lodging along with a RV park. We began planning for the wedding party and extended family to stay in all 3 locations. Sharon and her staff were so accommodating in every aspect of booking the entire lodge and all 4 tiny homes/cabins. We also had a few spots in the RV park.
Fast forward to this past weekend, June 4th. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The staff happily let us use the lodge for a bridesmaid luncheon early Friday before check in. They moved furniture for us and brought in tables for the luncheon. It made it so easy for us to decorate tables and bring in our food. The wedding party of 20+ stayed for 2 nights and the entire party loved everything about this place!
I highly recommend staying on this property rather it be in the lodge, cabins and RV park. You will so enjoy your experience on this beautiful property!

This was an amazing stay. I travel a lot and stay at many different places all over the country. I'm diamond with two hotel brands and gold with a third. I never review hotels, but I have to review this place. The staff were cheerful and accommodating. I stayed in one of their little cabins, and it was amazing. A very well thought out room design, (except for the sink being separate from the toilet area, which is not my personal preference) My favorite part was the screened in back porch facing the trees, where I had coffee every morning and listened to the frogs. There was also a small playground on the property if you have young children. That's something I really would have appreciated when my son was much younger. Great stay!
