Driftland Ski and Sport

Excellent shop! I went in to waste some time on a Thursday afternoon (waiting for Hellbenders burritos to open). Started talking to the knowledgeable ski techs about boot fit and insoles. Less than an hour later I had an awesome set of custom molded insoles for a very reasonable price. The custom molded insoles brought new life to my well used ski boots. Happy Feet!

Great friendly ski shop. Much better value than shops near DC. Did great work with a binding remount on my kids ski's. Highly recommend.

I called ahead and spoke with Ian regarding boots for my daughter. She arrived soon thereafter and Ian along with another awesome gal helped my daughter through several pairs of boots. In the end none was right. They were so helpful and weren't just focused on a sale, they wanted them to be perfect. I'm so thankful for their help.

Its the best ski shop in West Virginia by far! I have purchased equipment and had my skis waxed here over the years. I have also helped family rent top notch skis from here numerous times. Their staff is really knowledgeable and helpful. Their ski waxing turnaround time is much faster than the shops near to me in the DC area that request a two week turnaround...which is abysmal. Driftland rocks!

Driftland is top notch! Their techs are great and they fixed the bindings on my skis in a short time. In the meantime I rented some demo skis from them and they have a great selection! Everything is pure class here! The owner and employees should feel really proud of the ski shop that they are apart of.

Rented 5 sets of skis for the kids and and their friends. Very nice shop, skis and great service techs. Easy to extend for a day. They were open Fri night late for convenient pickup on the way into town. Total class act!

I popped in here to get my backcountry set-up tuned before a weekend of searching for snow in WV and the staff member who helped me was SO helpful and friendly in sharing some local tips to the area. He also expertly tuned my skis. I didn't catch his name, but whoever you are—you made my whole weekend!

This place is fantastic. Extremely friendly and experienced snowsport staff, with the gear to supply everything from the novice looking to start or try out quality gear to the extreme advanced winter adventourist. Convenient for anyone heading out to Timberline or Canaan ski resorts, and located in Davis where you'll probably want to stop for supplies before heading up the mountain. Driftland is an awesome addition to The town's progression towards catering very need for the outdoor adventure or unique art culture enthusiasts.

Best experience we’ve had renting equipment. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The rentals were a higher quality than all the others in the area. Great rentals made for an awesome skiing experience. Will rent here always!

An awesome little shop with friendly staff! Rented my friend gear and was happy to make sure she had what was best for her (and someone even commented on how nice the skis she got were).

On top of that my board, a Lib-tech with magnetraction, got seriously messed up (one of the curves out of the waved edge got completely smashed in and the bottom wall shoved in to form a quarter sized bump) and these guys did some serious magic! They played it down like it was no big deal but they lovingly cut the section out, worked the edge back out into shape, and very clearly worked the edge back down into line... and then gave it a beautiful wax to finish!

These guys resurrected my beloved board from the grave when another shop up near the resorts went pale at the mention of my problem. Seriously, if you need gear or a tune up for a weekend up on the mountains out here these guys are definitely worth a visit.

Ian provides service that is rivaled by no other. He went out of our way to make our ski rental experience the best we have ever had! He even helped me carry them to my car! Won’t go anywhere else!

If you are skiing the valley, go to Driftland to rent or buy. They are knowledgeable and customer service is a priority. You also can avoid the crowds. We will be going back every time we ski.
