Excellent food and very friendly staff.

I always come back to this Mexican restaurant when I am craving some good authentic tacos. 🌮 🌮 🌮
This time our visit was just as good as ever. We had a nice attentive waitress. She made sure we had everything we needed and wanted. I ordered theTaco Supremes with a side of rice.. You get 3 good sized tacos and they were very good as well as the rice!👍🏻
I have never had a 🌮 from there that wasn't delicious.
My friend ordered Street tacos 🌮 and hers was just as delicious.
If you're ever in the area, this restaurant is worth checking out!

Food is excellent! We came in at the end of lunch so the buffet was still out, it was pretty extensive!, but we defaulted to our typical Tex-Mex dishes: chicken enchiladas and a steak chimichanga. 🤷🏻‍♀

FULL DISCLOSURE: There is no booze here, folks. I can't lie, we were a bit disappointed thay there would be no mid-afternoon margaritas; but, we were set on Mexican food. And we were already there. And we were starving!

Normally, my husband and I would immediately skip the non-alcoholic joint while on vacation. Hunger won over the urge to find a more perfect restaurant, and I am so... soooo glad that it did!!

You won't miss the margaritas at this place! Whatever you order... ask for a cup of the red sauce. Take it like a shot. I'd do some questionable things for a bathtub full of that stuff 🤤

My first time to dine here. The lunch buffet was a welcome change from the norm. Easy access and very fast for those short on time. The staff really made sure you enjoyed the experience and made you feel very welcome. One thing that did surprise me. They DON'T serve alcohol! But that's not a deal breaker for the lunch buffet for me. I'll definitely dine there again!

Love going here for their daily lunch buffet. They have an array of options from taco salads, to fajitas, to quesadillas. The food tastes great, staff is friendly and the price is affordable. I love that they have both a sweet and savory bar.

If you are neglecting Restaurante Los Poblanos in Childersburg (due to lack of alcohol sales), you are missing out! Dinner tonight, LESS THAN $30. Texas combo fajitas, large salsa with medium cheese dip combo, extra lime and cilantro. Flavor, quantity, and quantity is UNBEATABLE. Hands down win.

Hands down the best hole in the wall Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. Went during lunch for the buffet. It was busy but very delish! Had some yummy quesadillas and taco salad and cheese dip. My favorite was the cinnamon sugar chips with honey. Will definitely be back. Our waitress was very attentive and very nice.

This restaurant offers some exceptionally delicious traditional plates. Their buffet is always delicious and I always leave there feeling happy and content.

Great little place that feels less like a restaurant and more like you were invited to a get together at a friend's place. The waitresses and service were top-notch.

They have a nice menu and a buffet with a lot of the staple dishes on both. I had the lunch Taco Salad and their taco shells are some of the sweetest and most delicious I have ever tasted. My significant other had the steak fajitas and liked it as well.

I love the Buffett because everything you get from there is always hot and fresh. The salad bar with all of the fresh fruits and vegetables is one of my favorite parts. They have good customer service, always so polite. Like today when their card machine was down, we go there so often they told us we could just pay next time. But we just went to the atm to get the money, plus tip!! We love eating here and will definitely be here every week.

This is the best Mexican restaurant in Alabama by far. I have never been so inlove with a foos place like I am with Las Poblanas. The staff is amazing, professional, efficient, and sweet. The food never takes to long and I am constantly getting refills without asking. They are great

I absolutely love this place. The staff is so nice and the food is good quality. I also love that you get a good amount of food for the prices you pay. Trust me you aren’t gonna need any extras after you get your order. This is a great place to dine.

The Only Buffet I'll Eat
I never eat at buffets. The food is stale or wilted, there are usually only a couple of remotely appetizing dishes, and they're always overpriced for the portion that I would call edible. The lunch buffet at Las Poblanas is exactly the opposite! The food is so fresh and delicious, the variety just right, and the recipes even pleasing to this former Texan. What's more, the price is great for the delicious meal and fantastic service! There is not another Mexican cafe in proximity that can beat them for lunch. Tell them a Texan told you to stop by!

The staff was very friendly. The waiter was so kind and pulled my chair out for me. He checked on us several times, and the food was delicious! Great experience! We will definitely be going back!

We LOVE this little family restaurant. The waitress is so kind and bright. Her mother is the chef! They are very accommodating to dietary requests, and the menu is unique and inspired.

Excellent spot down the 280 corridor. Very good, excellent staff. Some of the best Mexican food. Authentic. Just a great experience. The food speaks for itself. Tamales are the best!

Really love this place. Food is just perfect, authentic Mexican flavors plus the service, could not be better!!! Price is just right. Actually is very very very convenient if you compare with the quality of the food.
