if you’re looking for a unique historic original step back in time, there is no better place. The floor tile the back bar of the natural woodwork the stain glass all ooze history. Food was cooked to perfection, and had very generous portions. We went there for lunch, but the other half of my sandwich for dinner. You will not be disappointed.

We came into town to visit Goods, and stopped here for lunch. I am so glad that we did, as our food was completely delicious and the bar was absolutely beautiful! We will definitely be back.
Our party had the fried chicken, onion rings, ravioli soup, and burger.

Excellent atmosphere, the building has a classic style with high molded ceilings and long bar, and feels cozy yet substantial. That the food here is excellent was somewhat unexpected, but only adds to the solid timeless feel of the establishment.

Lucky people who live nearby & get to visit often. Heard many great things lately and finally had to give it a try. No wait on a Friday at 8. Large craft beer selection and large full bar. Huge menu and unique options. Burger was amazing. Also tried a smothered grilled tenderloin cheese curds and a side salad. Will be back!

We definitely weren't expecting to find such a unique place in a small town! The food is a twist on classic bar food. Everything we had was excellent. In fact, we ate here three times in a week! The drinks are reasonably priced and the atmosphere is an elevated bar!

This place always gives good portions and service. Beautiful place. Unique designs. Sports bar, but is also romantic too. Excellent employees there too. Had a Cobb Chef's salad a few weeks ago. BEST chef's salad I've ever had! Had a lot of the meats and cucumbers. Along with all else you'd expect. Delicious food in anything you order here.

Great food! I had the grilled chicken avocado bacon sandwich and the sauce was delicious. I do not recommended the “fried” potato salad, it was cold when it got to me & flavor was okay. Fries are delicious, good service and not too long of a wait on a Saturday night. Inexpensive too.

Food was amazing! Cerno burger made with top grade meat, fresh crisp lettuce, mushrooms, sautéed onions, & melted cheese..yum! Did not offer to refill our drinks during the several hours we were there. Does get loud, but it is a bar, & was completely full. Definitely going back 💛

Was in town visiting Black Hawk College and needed dinner before hitting the road. What a great restaurant. The website is correct, it is the most beautiful bar you’ve seen. Being in the restaurant business I can appreciate that bar. The food was great as well. I had the Italian Beef and my daughter had the giant fish sandwich. The curds were great too. If she chooses Black Hawk, then we’ll be back for sure!

The food was fantastic! Fries were cooked to perfection. You will not leave hungry as the portions are plenty. The service was great! The historical aspect and architecture is worth coming for alone. The atmosphere is great. This was my first time to eat here and it will not be my last. If you are in the vicinity of Kewanee, do yourself a favor and stop in for a meal. You will not be disappointed!

Great food and service in a historic building. Located in the heart of downtown Kewaunee, Cerno’s serves up delicious sandwiches, pizzas, giant pretzels, and cold beer at reasonable prices. The Pabst-themed decor goes back to its origin as an official Pabst bar, some of the old signs are very impressive! The gorgeous woodwork and stained glass create an atmosphere of Old World charm. Definitely worth a trip to experience it! Family friendly and spacious, with comfortable booths and tables.

Super cool place! We r here for a week working on a building w a big crew. We went 2 times this week since it was do yummy!! We have to come back in the spring tonlay the top lift to the parking lot and will totally eat there again!!!

Small town bar and restaurant. Apparently historical. A little loud due to the full capacity seating. Real party atmosphere for people coming to see their friends. Fun menu - good food.

Went to cernos for first time in awhile.
Just excellent all around. It didn't disappoint.

Great service and atmosphere! My mother was able to get around with her walker just fine and the bathroom was super accessible for her too.

Our group was served with a friendly, knowledgeable server. The food was fresh and delicious. We didn't have to wait too long for our food. The establishment deserves a walk around in order to take in all of the memorabilia. We really enjoyed the large plate of onion rings and the hefty potato skins. This experience was much better than our last time here including the food quality. We are making it a part of our annual trip.

First time here. The lovely bartenders have just made my trip. Leslie is an amazing person whose service is wonderful. I was recommended this place and so far there are no disappointments. Great employees who work so well together, friendly, outgoing. Aly is a beautiful person who is making my time here a great night. The PBR BURGER IS SO GOOD. Great flavor, cooked perfect. This place is amazing will be back again.
