New Seoul is a fantastic Korean restaurant…so tasty and fresh and fun!

The dishes are wonderful and full of fresh ingredients. Portions are generous and presentation is beautiful. I love their Kimchi and pickles

The staff is friendly

The space is clean and tidy, but not exceptional

Portion size not impressive but enough for one person. Food was really good though! We did medium spicy and it was just right! We had one of the lunch specials Chicken Bokum. With tax about $11. We did takeout, but they do have a small dining room. We would definitely order this again and we will be back.

It is a small restaurant right next to the Alicia Ashman Library on North Highpoint Road. If you didn't know it was there, you would miss it!

New Soul is a great Korean restaurant on Madison’s West side close to Middleton. It’s just off Old Sauk Road near the Madison Public Library branch.
This is a small restaurant with table service - served by the kind and friendly owner.
The menu is comprehensive but not huge. It has all the essential Korean dishes.
We enjoy the chopchai (sp?) and bulgogi. The potato side dishes are very popular.
We highly recommend New Soul for sit down with friends and family. Parking is easily available and free in the outside lot. Meals typically run $15-$30 each person. You can probably eat for more or less depending upon taste.

I love this place! I often get delivery but stopped in for a bite recently. Food was fast and tasty, everything was great! Highly recommend!

I finally remembered to take a picture of my food before digging in! (patting myself on the back) This food is spectacular, do yourself a favor and try it. They're very nice there and I honestly can't wait to go back and try something new (new to me). Picture is bopchaebop (beef or veggie) clear sweet potato noodles, beef, cabbage, carrot, onion, green onion, mushroom, red cabbage.

Great food! Great service as well. We had seaweed wrapped appetizers, dumplings and a heated bowl with a fried egg and pork and many vegetables.

Been there a couple of times. My daughter and I really enjoy the food. Ample serving sizes, served fresh and piping hot.

The food was delicious as ever, owner very customer oriented, called from home and foods were ready by the time we get there! Price is also good!

Love their food authentic Korean food & their ginger tea was good although the tea seemed bit different it wasn't as fragrant & taste bit weak but over all like the restaurant

The food here is great, I usually stick with the bibimbop or the bulgogi. I haven’t had anything I didn’t like. The owners are super nice and they are now serving in-dining room service. I will need to update this with pictures here soon but I was so hungry and things looked too good and I forgot

I ordered delivery from here and was really surprised with how big the portions were. The bulgogi was amazing! Great place for authentic korean food that's not just KBBQ

Authentic homestyle korean cooking. The menu isn't the most grand but the owners will always be there to put a smile on your face. Kimbop/Galbi-tang is my go-to. Also make sure to get their potato bonchon which is truly out of this world for potato lovers.

Family ordered carryout and the entire experience was great. The man that took our order over the phone was very polite and our food was ready on time. I can't believe how much food there was! Portions are generous and SO good! I would recommend this restaurant and can't wait to enjoy their food again.

Me and my partner came here for a date. Because of Covid we picked up our food and ate in the car. The food did take a really long time to be done (about 20-30 minutes longer than the estimated time, maybe an hour or so total), but they seemed to be slammed with orders so that wasn’t a big deal. The food was delicious, and came to us PIPING HOT. Like I went to eat some leftovers after our 20 minute drive home my soup still burnt my mouth. We will be making the drive over to eat here again. It’s hard to find really amazing restaurants in Madison, but this is definitely one of them.

My first experience with Korean cuisine and I was not disappointed. I tried the tofu bokum and kimchi soup and both were delicious. Generous portions, great flavor, and friendly staff. I will be dining here again!

Really great restraunt with friendly staff. My partner loves the Kimchi Fried Rice, and we try to go at least once a week😄

When I walked in one Saturday afternoon, I was the only customer in the restaurant. It made me a little nervous. I went ahead and ordered my meal, and about 10-15 minutes later I just happened to notice that most of the tables were full at that point.

Excellent food, and although they don't have a large selection of appetizers, they are very good and even asked if I wanted some more.

We will be back again.
