The Landing

The Landing is only open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, so the season is short but very sweet!

The setting, on the South Arm of Lake Charlevoix, can't be beat, whether you arrive by boat or car. The patio seating provides great views of passing boats and the Ironton Ferry going back and forth across the narrows.

The menu has some awesome hits, my favorites being the nachos, lamb burger, and salmon sandwich. Prices are actually fairly reasonable for such a busy establishment that draws plenty of seasonal residents and tourists.

What a nice place! Alex was a great server and took good care of us. We had the Asian Cashew Chicken Bowl, Dockmaster Burger, Woodfire grilled Chicken Sausage and the kids had hot dogs. Everything was very delicious! Everyone working had smiles on their faces and the manager even stopped by to see how everything was. Thanks so much!

I met some out-of-state relatives for an impromptu lunch on a Thursday afternoon in early July. It was during the lunch peak time and 6vof us waited roughly 45 minutes for a table. We ordered drinks when we got to our patio table. The frozen drinks ( my cousin had a strawberry daquerie and I had pina colada) were excellent). It took longer than anticipated to order our meals, but it was well worth the wait. We were enjoying a long overdue visit at this the lake side locale while people and boat watching. The food was delicious. I ordered the lake perch sándwich and the PB & J sweet potatoe fries. I know they sound unusual but they were surprisingly tasty. We lingered for awhile. We weren't made to feel like we should vacate the table for someone else. I don't know if this was because the crowd had started to disipate or because they just wanted us to feel welcome. What a great lakeside outdoor dining experience. I plan and look foreward to a return visit.

Everyone here is doing it right. Feel very welcomed, food is amazing and staff is super friendly, helpful and well trained. One of the BEST restaurants you can boat to.

Excellent dinner only to be out done by the spectacular views. I had the salmon sandwich and the piece of salmon was not only outstanding but it was the largest piece of salmon I’ve had on a sandwich in years. Will definitely be back by boat next time.

Excellent experience all around. They have a "side bar" and lawn games to play while you wait. Parking can be a little difficult by boat or car but well worth the trip. Food was very good. Enjoyed crab cakes, burgers and salads. Order the Heck Yeah!!

1st time visiting. Got there b4 the rush and food was good. The pulled pork sandwich was huge and delicious. Perch basket was good but the Mahi Mahi bites were even better. The lobster roll was pricey but also large and delicious. Go ahead and treat yourself. Would have liked to see more seafood options not just fried.
The staff was inexperienced, but that will get better with time. And if you have kids, don't miss the Sidebar! Games and they sell ice cream that was delicious. I was vacationing so not sure when I will get back, but I rarely give 5 stars unless it is earned. Don't forget the ferry nearby.

Our food was amazing and the atmosphere was great. We could sit almost right on the dock. It's great. You can also pull up your boat and eat.

We love The Landing! I was there twice this week, once taking my dad for lunch and a afternoon cocktail with my wife Friday.
Everything we’ve ordered from the menu has been great. The pork nachos are our fallback favorite.
This is a great lively venue with good food and plenty of things to see with the boats coming and going.
The staff is wonderful and provide great service!!

Family friendly and with great GF options for our celiac friends! The atmosphere is chefs kiss and so was the food!

OUTSTANDING! great service, great food, great company, great scenery, all on my birthday too! Literally can't say enough about the experience. If they still have some, don't sleep on the lobster roll!!

So yummy!!! We ordered the perch basket and the walleye basket. So fresh and not greasy at all. We loved sitting out on the deck by the water. We WILL be back!!

Great food and dining experience. It was a bit of a wait to get a table but well worth it. Our table was on the dock right on the water. Service was friendly and fast, food was hot and delicious. We'll be back again.

Nice lakeside restaurant for all. Drive your car there or your boat. The lunch menu is a bit thinner during the days of Covid but over all my family of six managed to find something we liked. And if you are into Rum, they have a vast selection of Rum from around the world.

The pretzel appetizer is wonderful and large enough to share with a party of 4. We enjoyed the Mahi, Mahi Basket and Pulled Pork Sandwich. Everyone throughly enjoyed sharing 2 ice cream sandwiches. The setting was refreshing and enteraining.

Outstanding service, food and beverages. Planned a boat trip from Harbor Springs intentionally for the Landing, as well as the lobster roll. Worth the whole trip! Would do again in a heartbeat!

Oh my goodness! This place was the best! First off, the seating was so much fun , mostly outdoors and it was fun to watch the boats dock. The ferry was interesting to watch going across also. I had an amazing Greek Lamb Burger. The flavors! Wow! So good and juicy! My husband had the perch and the light coating on them was superb! Even the homemade chips and french fries were delicious. My husband and I went on a beautiful sunny day and sat by the docks and ate one of their double chocolate mint ice cream sandwiches! Our waitress and the hostess were perfect and friendly. Great experience! It was one of my favorite parts of my day!

Love this place. Love the ferry ride. The food was excellent. Service on spot. Great views. Nice outside bar while you wait for a seat.
