My family and I had an incredible stay! The campground hosts went way above and beyond in several different ways to make sure it was a great experience. We had everything we needed available to us and there were plenty of activities. The campsite was private, shaded, and huge. Everything was very clean and easy to find. The staff was readily available and so helpful!!

Honestly, I could have packed lighter if I had realized just how much the campground has to offer. Prices are reasonable at the camp store. I forgot oil to cook with and was able to get a container for just a couple dollars. The firewood for sale was dense, lasting, thick cuts - unlike some campgrounds that sell basically kindling you burn through in an hour.

We had all the amenities I expect from KOA, but it felt like 'real camping' as well, and I fell asleep to the sound of owls. The forest and surrounding area are beautiful. We will be back!

The BEST KOA!!! The staff go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. They are so kind and fun. A bazillion activities for the kids as well as activities for adults!! Love the movie nights, evening pool parties with kid friendly music, competitions for the kids & a ton of beach balls!! The face painting was incredible! Our kids LOVED the new tubing slide and huge foam parties. Silent disco this year was a super fun addition. The wagon rides, crafts, jumpy pillow….just the whole shebang. We always have an amazing time at this campground. Nicole and Brian are so friendly and hospitable as well as the rest of the staff. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

By far my favorite KOA in the state of Michigan. Secluded but with all the great activities. Close to the Pere Marquette River for fishing and kayaking and a quick easy drive to Ludington as well. The kids love this one and so do the dogs. We have brought our camper and those sites are so nice and we have also stayed in the cabins and they are always clean and comfortable.

It was Awesome 👍 the cabin was fantastic and the staff was so friendly and they spent so much time creating activities for kids and teens. Wow I really can't complement them enough. The campground was clean and well kept and the pool was cool with lights over Head they had this foam machine that covered all the kids and a giant slide and a giant jump pillow and outside movies for everyone and a disco Lazer dance party for teens wow Wow wow so many more activities we had a great time. We will be back several times.

Stayed in one of their cabins for an extended weekend fishing trip. It’s close to the area of the PM I fish annualy in & around Sulak & Upper Branch Bridge, so being only a few minutes away was definitely a bonus. I have stayed around the Baldwin/Branch area several times in the past, so I’m now wondering why I haven’t stayed at the KOA campground before. Cabin I chose had shower, toilet, small fridge & microwave, and also even had a coffee maker. This campground has different accommodations, i.e., basic cabins w/o the amenities, tent sites, pull-through w/electric hookups, etc., so surely something to suit everyone’s needs. While the “official” camping season had ended the weekend prior, I was grateful they were open for a little while longer, just without all the extra activities (which by seeing all the extra stuff they had on the grounds, it looks to be very family friendly). There were a handful of other people staying within the campground. Host (Nicole) was very informative about checking in and how to go about getting something if I needed it during my stay. I would recommend this place if you’re looking for a cool place to stay at while you’re in the Baldwin area. There’s plenty of trails around for hiking and nature viewing. It sits far enough back on 40th off the main road (S Branch Rd), that you do get the feeling of being out in the wilderness. I’ll definitely return for next year’s fishing trip and perhaps may even try it out in the summer, where they’ll have a lot of activities ongoing at the campground.

Beautiful location. Stayed here over an extended weekend in October. Wooded area was spectacular. Owners made us feel welcomed right away. Love the text message reminders (ie- pre-order your hot cinnamon rolls!).

I gave location only a 4 star because of the dirt roads that I had to take to get there. But very quiet place. Jump pad was awesome. Staff was super friendly. Cell service is spotty at best. So plan on getting away without being bothered with technology. It was great. Wood prices could've been better. But will definitely be going back!

This campground and staff are truly exceptional. Brian spotted a tire problem on our travel trailer when we were parking and saved us from a massive failure. Nicole does an amazing job organizing events during the day for guests and is prompt with any requests. Overall, I haven't found a better camping experience in the 20 years I've been RV camping. Highly recommended for young families as there's so much to do on site. Absolutely the best!!

Favorite KOA we’ve visited to date. Friendly staff, clean facilities, great playground and pool, lots of fun activities for all ages. The camp store was well stocked with fun things and practical items alike.
I don’t have a single complaint or even a tiny thing I would suggest be changed. Wonderful visit. We booked another reservation as soon as we got home and can’t wait to go again.

We had one of the new sites. Level and spacious. Nice separation from other campers and relatively private. Very good service and communication. We will be back next summer.

Nicole and her family/staff run the Ludington KOA Holiday like a well oiled machine. TOP notch customer service including smiles and friendly greetings along the way. The campground is well maintained. We will come back. We will suggest this to our friends. We thank everyone very very much!

Had a wonderful time and stayed in the newer part, #247. Just the wife and I, but this KOA would be awesome for kids, pool, slide, playground, and continuous activities. All the staff were kind and friendly, very accommodating. Most of the sites were large and in wooded areas. Brian, Nicole and staff are great. Thanks for a nice stay.

This is our second year coming to this KOA. It is a smaller Koa, but so family oriented. They have so many fun activities for the kids to enjoy, you really don’t have to venture anywhere else. We stayed in their big lodge, and it was great plenty of Space for our family to relax and make memory’s ! When we arrived their pool was closed for our first day, not from something they could help or have expected. To make up for it they opened up their mega slide and let all the kids ride for free , which my kids took full advantage of! They had it up and running the next morning and the pool party was a blast! We will for sure be booking again for next year !

Wonderful experience! Already booked our site for next year. Nicole, Brian, Kyle & Joel? (the owner) were magnificent. By far, our favorite KOA, and we only stay at KOA's. Always tons of activities for the kids and no "gotcha" charges or prices. A+

This KOA is the best kept secret! When my friend booked us a stay for Suds on the Shore, I fully expected a cement parking lot of tents on top of each other. We had an extremely spacious site, surrounded by tall trees and two picnic tables. The staff were all so friendly, especially Brian! He delivered our firewood right to our site with a smiling welcoming face. In the morning, you can order Amish cinnamon rolls and have them delivered. Fresh coffee! Movies in the evening for kids outside. The pool was warm, open late and lit beautifully at night. So many events for kids and adults alike, including wine and beer tasting for the adults! We came for a one night stay and my only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. We will be back! 5 stars!

By far the best KOA we’ve stayed at and the nicest campground staff we’ve seen. They helped on multiple occasions when we had issues with our trailer. We’ve never seen that level of service from any other campground. Already booked our return trip for next year.
