VG's Grocery

I have been going there for years. All of the staff are very friendly and if you are looking for a pleasant, relaxed place to shop in peace, this is it! Leave the big chain stores for the busy bodies out there. There is a myth out there that VGs is more expensive. I beg to differ.

I just love going in here! There is one worker in particular who always makes my trip worth while. Allie is always smiling and is the most helpful! She goes above and beyond for us customers. You don’t find many like her these days!

The store is always clean and well stocked. The produce is fresh and very good quality. I do the majority of my grocery shopping at VG's, and will continue to do so. They have wonderful sales associates that are friendly, polite, and helpful. David is my favorite VG's associate! He is the kindest, friendliest, and most pleasant person. It's always such a pleasure seeing him when I shop. Overall, the store gives us customers an excellent shopping experience, and it's greatly appreciated!

Friendly employees. Produce not great but exceptable. Like it because it is not overwhelming in size and have enough varity of goods. Can get in and out easily.

Purchased a cake for a special occasion from VG’s for my wife and granddaughter. This by far was the most beautiful decorated and tasty cake ever. I explained to Brooks what the event was and she decorated it beyond the call of duty.
If you ever want a excellent decorated tasting event cake go to VG’s in Howell Mi. and request for Brooks. It will be the best decision you ever made.

Very nice store, it was later in the evening and we needed something to eat, the deli area had a lot of delicious choices; fresh too

We were told that they had a Caesar salad option in the deli and that was a great option for lunch. They offer regular and seasoned chicken, tomatoes, multiple olives, peppers, multiple cheeses, croutons, bacon, and seeds. The dressing is very good and it is quite a large salad for the price. It is made to order with as much or little of each item.

Love love love vgs deli fried chicken. Mmmmmm so good. I love the over all atmosphere of the store. I'm from a small town in TN, and vgs reminds me of my small town grocery store. Makes me feel closer to home.

VG's is a regular full service grocery store. You need to be enrolled in their YES card program to get the discounts.

Very clean very organized very friendly staff. I've been shopping here for 17 years. Some items are pricey but they carry their own brand of items which are more affordable and taste just as great as a name brand. They have a bakery where they make fresh bread. Bagels, donuts and cookies they also make and decorate cakes and cupcakes. They have a deli with fresh made pasta salads and dips and they take lg orders for get together or whatever you want. They have an amazing meat counter with fresh seafood and steaks as well as chicken and turkey burgers. Chicken and many others also have deli meats. They have a large wine and alcohol selection including beer and imported beer and liquor. They have a wide selection of food and cleaning products and they also have a pharmacy inside. I love this store. The only complaint I have is some of the pharmacy staff and the way they run the pharmacy. I have a chronic illness and multiple meds and had a few too many poor experiences with the pharmacy. Other than that great place to shop.

Always great ready to eat foods, friendly staff and baked goods galore! Love its down home small town feeling.

I don't go there to much. But I do know if you want the sales price you need to have their " Yes card" or download the app and sign up" but overall the store was clean employee's were super nice and helpful. And side note lol I should of gotten a cart bought more than I anticipated 😂

Great grocery store, better than Kroger and less people. Occasionally produce isn't the freshest or some products are expired, but thers been improvement. Staff are friendly and curbside pickup is great

A year ago I got my wife her Birthday Cake from the bakery and it was so good I purchased another today! Still amazing.

Love this place (Howell location) for a hassle and drama free grocery shopping experience. I decided to have them make my wife a birthday cake and was very pleased! She loves buttercream frosting (I'm not a huge fan) but the frosting on her cake is amazing! Nice and sweet without being overwhelming or cloying. Great service and decorations from the bakery department as well. And our cat recommends the rotisserie chicken 😹

I'm here pretty much daily!! Always very pleasant, staff is super friendly! Big shout out to David and Caleb, always super nice and greets you when you walk in.

I go to VG'S, Fairly often, especially when I'm coming from the west. It's not a huge store, but has some very good baked goods and wonderful doughnuts. They do really good rosted chickens, little pricier than others but very good. One thing that I love and only seem able to find at VG'S is a real Ham Steak. A real Dearborn Ham slice!!

Even though this store is more expensive than what I am used to, I did find some deals. Everyone was very nice. It's so close to my home, I'm sure I'll give it a try again.
