Very good breakfast restaurant! Awesome service, great food, and outstanding price on the food. 4 stars for the atmosphere, tables were a little too close to each other. I felt like I was at the breakfast table with the whole restaurant. I need a little more elbow room!

Opens at 6:00!!! 🥰 Wonderful Small Town Diner. Best price in town! Groups of people were chatting over coffee after their breakfast, and the waitress calls everybody by their first name. Very pleasant!🥰

We loved to be here , the food , service and environment all are wonderful. There are lots of choices in menu. And our family get their own choices. Foods were delicious and served hot and quick. Staffs are extremely welcoming and helpful. But they don’t take cards , you have to bring cash with you and they close at 2 in the afternoon, they also have restrooms and parking lot. Highly recommend for make a stop, And it’s kids friendly too.

Sunday 11:30ish, busy place, everyone was very nice and happy. We ordered ten different meals, everything came correct and quickly! Service was amazing and food was even better! Would drive 2 hours again for this experience!

If you are looking for a nice meal that reminds you of eating Sunday breakfast with the family, this is where you need to go. Full portions, hot food, great taste, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Stopped here for lunch on our travels through MN. Husband is a displaced Minnesotan and he was excited to see the tater tot hot dish. I had the tuna melt special with chicken and dumplings soup. Daughter had the hot beef sandwich. All delicious comfort food and huge portions with wonderful friendly service. Doesn’t take cards only cash or check. Would sure stop by here again if we get the chance.

Found myself in Alexandria for breakfast on a Friday morning and this place hit the spot. Small town breakfast/lunch diner atmosphere. The waitress was polite and attentive. Prices are low (they don't take cards) and the portion was huge! Would recommend.

We love it here!! When there is not a lockdown we eat here almost every weekend. The staff are all super nice and helpful and remember us, the food is great and cheap, and there are a ton of options on the menu. Would totally reccomend to anyone in the area or passing through looking for a good down home breakfast or lunch.

We stopped here for breakfast on our way home from camping in Fergus Falls.. So glad we did the most welcomed we have felt all Labor Day Weekend!!! The wait staff and locals were so friendly and welcoming!! The food was delicious and the prices were on point!! Super busy but atmosphere was soo alive and loving with families enjoying each other. The wait staff is top notch and such Champs and handled every guest with respect and care!! Thank you for the amazing service and we will be back next year!! We will be looking for camp sites in Alexandria next year.. what an amazing town!!! Thank you again for making our family trip end on a sweet note!!! A must stop to have a wonderful breakfast and lunch with family!!!

It was my husband’s 60th birthday so we decided a little road trip from St. Cloud to Alexandria to enjoy breakfast brunch. We had his birthday breakfast at Northwoods Cafe. The food was excellent, the service was great, and it was so reasonable priced. One of our top cafes for food and service. Thanks to the amazing team at the cafe. We will be back for sure!!

This was just what we needed, a cozy diner with delicious breakfast after having a terrible night in Sauk Centre (idk how residents there get by with the food options).

Our server was super friendly and quick, our food came quickly and was so good. We ordered a lot thinking it may not be enough considering the prices weren't super high. We got way more than we could eat, completely stuffed and paid a fair price. This place will definitely be a visit anytime we go through.
